Dr. Schmid did not hesitate to answer all of my questions regarding my surgery, and he did so in a professional and courteous manner. update i got the remainder of my fillers dissolved and the incredible woman that saved my mouth told me that whoever did my fillers previously clearly had no idea what they were doing and that they must have stuck the needle too deep into my lip because i had fillers all they way down into my chin / jawline area. she also debunked dr schmids "cleft lip" excuse that he made up and said that it wasn't a thing and that he just did a really horrible job all on his own read more

I went to Dr.Schmid after a botched surgery. When I went to him he talked so bad about my previous plastic surgeon. He assured me he could do a revision, with satisfactory results. Sad to say he didn't fix anything, I just got stuck with an outrageous bill. He was quick to put down the previous surgeon. But was no better. My breasts are uneven and very saggy after 2 months, all Dr. Schmid said is that's gravity. He even performed a tummy tuck and my hips have dents where he did lipo where he left dog ears. He even tried to blame that on the previous Surgeon!! I had to remind him that, that was his work. Definitely sad that i was let down by yet another plastic surgeon that only cares about money. Basically there aren't any laws to protect the patient. I don't know if I can afford to go to another surgeon to do another revision, or if I want to put myself through such pain and be let down. I've never hated my body as much as I do now. So embarrassed that I trusted not one but 2 plastic surgeons to botch me. I wish there were laws to prevent this from happening to anyone else. Dr. Schmidt is the bomb; I came in with an earlobe torn all the way through & had gone to several consultations prior to him & simply did not feel comfortable with the level of expertise or avenue of repair. He made me feel at ease & sutured my lobe beautifully & when it healed it looked like a virgin earlobe! Inclusive in the price was the suture removal & the re piercing! I felt the price was great considering the three appointments & work. The office is simply gorgeous & all staff are kind, empathetic & cater to complete babies such as myself... I had the misfortune of having a melanoma and recurring melanomas on my left facial cheek beginning in the fall of 2014. I had the good fortune to get referred to Dr. Mooty. He and his staff are the absolute best in their fields. So caring and compassionate, and so skilled. I have undergone what I consider 4 pretty major surgeries along with a skin graft, and more than a dozen minor cuts and stitch ups to get the individual spots that came back one or two at a time. With what I estimate to have been more than 250 total stitches and the skin graft, one has to look pretty closely now to see any evidence of Dr. Mooty's workmanship. I sincerely hope I never need his services again, but he is the one to call if there is a need. I was truly blessed by finding him. read more

I have not had plastic surgery but I hate what he has done to 2 of my friends that have had surgery by Dr.Schmid. Bad plastic surgery ruins self esteem. And is way to expensive to keep getting revisions!! Before you decide on a plastic surgeon ask people for pictures. Don't make your entire decision by the plastic surgeons pictures. Do your research. And don't have plastic surgery unless you can afford to pay for revisions after. Remember some plastic surgeons don't take pride in their work. It's all about the money! read more

Horrible experience ! paid 100$ to wait for a hour for Schmid to talk to me just to not answer any of my questions and talk for 15min and leave! Office staff is the worst ! not friendly at all ! When i called to make a surgery appointment (i didn't know of any other clinic im not from Lubbock) i not only got laughed about on the phone guess they thought they put the phone on hold but no one ever called me to schedule anything ! guess they don't take Mexicans money or don't think we have money to schedule with them ! worst feeling ever ! look around before doing anything with them ! read more
