Oh my gosh, I can't rave enough about Lu Brows Studio. Lu is a true artist in her craft! I never thought I'd be someone to get my eyebrows done because of how unnatural it looks on people I've seen. But when I saw Lu's work on Instagram and how natural her brows looked, I instantly booked an appointment. The hundreds of five star reviews also gave me great confidence in her. At the appointment, Lu did so much to make me feel comfortable (I was nervous--just because it's my on my face!). The procedure was practically painless and went by quickly. I was worried about my eyebrows being super dark, but even as they're healing they're not! The studio is clean, modern and welcoming. But more importantly, Lu is a beautiful human who wants to make all her clients feel beautiful. She's so talented, thoughtful, and so easy to talk to. I can't recommend her enough.... I'll be back for any and all future beauty procedures! Thank you, Lu! read more

Lu is the best of the best!!! I can't say enough good things about her and her work. As someone who values my natural, surfer-girl look I was a bit nervous about microblading heading into my first appointment. But I am here to tell you I wish I had done this sooner. Why did I wait to so long?!? Love, love, love!!! And just when I thought I could love them more, I just completed my re-touch (after my initial treatment) and I'm just thrilled. Can't recommend Lu enough! If I could give her ten stars I would! read more

This review is long overdue!!! Ive been coming to Lu for the past 3 years. I first started out with a brow wax and from there I went to a microblading consultation! This is where all the magic begun! Her brow work is flawless and her technique is truly one of a kind. Lu is always a very kind and loving person :) I'm happy that her business survived the pandemic and will continue to be a loyal customer. I also did lash perm and tint and loved the results!!! It lasted for weeks. Definitely worth it! My daughter also loves to get her brows done here and loves the brow tint. read more

Based on my awesome experience at Lu Brows Studios, I highly recommend you going to see Lu. First, her office staff is amazing, Alana helped to ensure that everything went well with scheduling my appointment and MayumI welcomed me with so much Aloha when I went in to get my brows done. Then there's Lu, she made me feel very comfortable about micro blading, because she took the time to inform me about the procedure. I was a little nervous at first but once we got started I felt completely relaxed. My only wish is that I had done this sooner. Now I don't have to worry if my " penciled in brows " are still "on" after I work out or go for a swim. Being able to get up and do minimal makeup is truly a time saver for me. This is one "self care" decision I will never regret! Thank you Lu, you're THE BEST!!! read more

I met Lu years ago when she was still providing eyebrow services out of her home. Her work back then was amazing and I'm completely amazed that she can some how get even better. Lu often travels back to Brazil to receive more training, her investment in her craft sets her apart from all other brow artists. I have always been pleased with every wax, tint, or micro blade service I received. read more

I cannot recommend Lu enough! I have followed her work for years and so so glad to have finally been able to come in for micro blading. She is absolutely incredible at what she does for an incredibly natural brow. I wouldn't trust anyone else, her work is incredible!! read more

Lu is the only person I trust to do my brows. She is a down to earth person and a real professional. Every time I go in she greets me by name and even remembers the people in my family. I had the worst brows ever and Lu saved them, I cannot believe I used to walk around with over tweezed thin eye brows. Getting the courage to microblade my brows took 3 years to build lol. Lu would always tell me get the microblading done and you won't have to worry about tinting and how your brows look. But I was too scared. When I finally got it done I was so mad at myself for waiting that long. The process was smooth and simple. I had to fill out paperwork prior to my appt and she set me up for the procedure. Because microblading is considered tattooing she had to show me all the new needles and blades etc. Lu even had on protective garments which made me feel comfortable that she was clean and professional. She did numb my brows but I could feel the strokes on my left brow, when I felt something she stopped and numbed me again, which I appreciate because I was already nervous. I couldn't feel anything on my right brow. When we were done my brows looked amazing and natural. It didn't look like someone grabbed a sharpie and colored in my brows. The strokes of the blade and needle looked so natural even my nieces and mom thought it was real hair! I just got my 40 day touch up last week and I love my brows. It's nice to know it's waterproof lol. Thanks Lu for always taking care of me and making me feel so beautiful. read more

I was on the fence about getting my eyebrows microbladed. I never wear makeup, never get my hair done, I think most of it is a waste of $. I was also afraid everyone would be aware of my brows and that they would look fake. But, just the opposite! Lu did an amazing job. My eyebrows look fuller, make me look more vibrant, and you would never guess they were microbladed! I love them so much! Lu is truly the most talented artist. She's very sweet and so passionate about her craft. She's worth every penny. The only thing you will regret is not going earlier!!! Lu will cover this in great detail, but be prepared for 10 days (minimum) of no surfing or swimming, and wearing hats after your procedure. It's recommended to keep your brows out of the sun for at least 3 weeks. It's a big commitment if you love the ocean but, overall, I would say it's worth the sacrifice. read more

If you want natural flawless brows, Lu is the person to see! After much much research on "The Best Places for Microblading on Oahu," I chose to go with Lu Brows Studio and I was NOT disappointed. When I walked into her studio I was nervous and anxious. Lu made sure I was comfortable from the moment I got there and throughout the procedure. Lu continuously checked to make sure I was okay, relaxed, and felt no pain. At one point I mentioned that I kind of felt the topical anesthetic wearing off, and Lu immediately stopped what she was doing, reapplied more anesthetic, and made sure the area was completely numb before continuing. My brows looked amazing thanks to Lu! I am already re-booking my next appointment! I definitely recommend Lu Brows Studio. read more

I was hesitant at first to get my eyebrows microbladed because I was not only scared, but had never experienced getting a tattoo before. I thought tattooing and microblading would relatively be the same. Lu's assistant mentioned to me that she has tattoos and had microblading done. From her experience, she told me that tattooing and microblading was not the same as how she felt with the sensations of being poked. She reassured me by telling me that I could go to a consultation first to meet with Lu to have a better understanding of what the procedure would be like and could decide from there. She also said that everybody experiences pain differently and that some clients even sleep or feel little to no sensations at all. I did some research and watched some videos to get to know more about the procedure. I heard a lot of good reviews about Lu and knew family and friends who have gone to her. When I met Lu, I've told her that I was nervous and that I take awhile to get numb. She told me not to and that we'll wait 15-20 minutes for the cream to do its job. She told me if I feel anything she would apply more cream. I, then built up some courage to have got it done. I kept on telling myself to think of the after results and how beautiful my brows will come out. I'm so glad and relieved to have made the decision to have gotten them done. Even though, it is quite pricey and out of my way it was worth it. In my opinion, Lu is very good at what she does. She's very attentive to details. I find her being very sweet and personal. Lu and I were both pleased with the results of my eyebrows. read more

I attempted to get my brows tattooed 5 years ago and had a horrible experience. The lady shaped them crooked and when I told her I didn't like them, she told me I knew nothing about beauty. She made me uncomfortable and I cried. I was on Instagram one day and the perfect brows caught my eye so I clicked on the picture. I browsed through the photos and was amazed at how perfect each brow was. The way the brows are measured and perfectly symmetrical. So I went on Lu's website and booked an appointment. When I first met Lu for my consultation, I told her about what happened and she made me feel comfortable. She talked me through each step of what she was doing. After she measured and tinted my brows, I got to see them and I was in love. I went back for my microblading a week later. I've always hated how my brows looked. How no matter how hard I try I could never get them even. I live a busy life and sometimes look a mess when I get up in the morning. I never thought I could have those pretty perfect brows. But thanks to Lu, I can say I WOKE UP LIKE THIS. read more

In 2014-2015 my friends recommended Lu to me. As a 18 year old, I fell in love with my brows every time I was able to go in and see her. I continued going to Lu for over 6 years regardless of where I lived on the island. This meant some days I would face the traffic from west side to North Shore that was well over a hour compared to the 10 minute drive I had when I first started seeing Lu. Every minute invested was worth it. Had I not relocated To Kauai, I would still be going to her. Each visit was like seeing an old friend where we would catch up on how we were doing, give updates about our fur babies, and our travel plans. She saved me from a horribly shaped unibrow and over the years created a set of brows that I was proud and confident to have. Even now that I haven't seen her in a year, I still get compliments consistently about the shape and way my brows frame my face. I am the first to admit I am not an expert in brows, but I do my best to keep the shape. My only regret was not getting microblading done by Lu, because she is one of the only people I would trust with my brows in a semi-permanent form. She is very practiced and will work with what you have to make you feel confident and beautiful. I would recommend her 100 times over. read more

The process was quick, and painless. I was extremely happy with the end result. Lu is so talented and my brows look so much more full, bold and natural. I would 100% recommend Lu and her staff to anyone looking for natural micro bladed eyebrows. Thank you!! read more
