This office had to send out cleaners three separate times, and it still was not completed. We had to clean the ceramic tile and windows ourselves...after a 6 hour drive from our new home. I would not recommend Merry Maids in Cape Girardeau to others.

Selena's was quick to respond to my request for quote and though they were running a little late to the initial appointment, they were thoughtful enough to call to say they were on the way and offered a revised ETA. Because I had already talked to some other cleaning services I had a pretty good idea what I was willing to pay and we were able to reach an agreement quickly. Selena's provides the supplies and equipment for cleaning your home. This was an area we discussed in depth as I do not allow any synthetic fragrance in my home. I'm happy to report that these ladies understood and when finished the place smelled clean and faintly of lemon. As they worked they listened to music quietly. very little conversation having to do with anything other than the work at hand was overheard. Periodically I would check an area and comment. Usually the comments were positive and complimentary. Occasionally, they were neutral and constructive. Hopefully voiced in a friendly way. For example; Ooops! missed a spot. What impressed me was the maturity with which this was received. No excuse was offered. No argument ensued. The offending item was fixed immediately and there might follow a discussion of how to better address the situation next time it came up. Just 2 confident parties learning the expectations of each other. Payment was preferred online through an app that I found confusing. But, Michelle was willing to walk me through it. Usually eager to learn something new I really appreciated her patience. So, impressed was I that we have set a regular time for them to clean going forward!!

Selena's may be good for cleaning but not furniture repair! They spent approximately 4 hours…read moreworking on a recliner that did not recline. I had to leave before they were finished (my daughter was here). Texted me to say they were done and to enjoy my chair. It didn't work and was in worse shape than before they came (not only did it not recline the back of the chair was not aligned). A friend recommended Blendals furniture repair (5738039549). They were in and out in less than an hour, my recliner now reclines.

You will find the "joy" (no other word will do) Kastle Flooring brings to the job a welcome change. Kyron did our installation, and was a pleasure to be around from estimate to end. From Day 1, the enthusiasm these folks had for our project was endearing. They were laser focused on our job and getting us what we wanted. When I asked to change the finish on our hardwood floors at the last minute to a less toxic, more environmentally friendly option, my request was met with empathy not the moans and groans I had expected!! The work was begun within a reasonable time frame. Estimate of the time needed to complete was within +- 2 days. Kastle was best of 4 bids. Terms were standard. Owner was often "on-site"to supervise. Installer was conscientious and an artist. We gave him poor material to work with, and yet he was able to give us back a silk purse. He communicated with us every day.
