    Spaghetti
    Ahmani M.

This is not a review for the Student Union. Rather, this is a review of food created by a union of students (my roommates). We all unanimously agreed on making spaghetti for dinner. The ingredients we used were ground beef, 1 pound of spaghetti noodles, 1.5 jars of garlic and herb spaghetti sauce, and salt and pepper. The cooking process was as you expect; cook the noodles, cook the meat, put it all together with the sauce. The outcome was what you would describe as homemade spaghetti. I believe it is much better than dining hall spaghetti, but I prefer spaghetti with chicken and parmesan cheese. This was fairly average and there is nothing much else to add to this review.

Very beautiful and historical building! It almost feels as if the Student Union is more than a building but and embodiment of the years of history and phenomenal students embedded within the walls, the streets and all the monuments around it! You can definitely feel the centrical force of gravity throughout the entire campus at the Student Union. There are many resources here for parents, students and potential students alike. You never really lost at the Student Union in on this campus but simply always on a journey to a better brighter future. If you need help around the place there's usually always some security guard, student or faculty member that will lead you back to the right place! Definitely feel free to come and use all the resources here that are for you! Tuition, donors and the state are helping you to do this! Have fun and Godspeed with future careers!

Chefs special priced at 8.99. Definitely worth it. Sushi rice with shrimp tempura along with avocado and crab meats. It's very filling.

The union is great. There are several food stops to pick from. They have pizza (papa John's), family styled home meals like baked chicken served with mash potatoes or stone other side like corn bread or red beans and rice. In case you don't want that, they have a chick filet, McDonald's, smoothie king, panda express, a salad bar(my favorite), sushi, or the coffee shop thay had bagels and such. I personally love the salad bar which offers a jr varsity (1 meat and 4 toppings) or a varsity (unlimited toppings and meats). I normally do the jr varsity since I'm tight oin money and it only costs around 4.30 while the variety it's priced at 6.75 which is still a good deal. I like to splurge a bit when I have money and I usually get the varsity when I do that. The sushi bar is pretty good also since they have some pre-made sushi or you can get a fresh one made by requesting it if you have 5 minutes to spare and don't mind waiting. I do bit recommend the miso soup though. It isn't the greatest. Overall, the staff is really friendly and I go there a lot to eat and hang out with my friends.

My husband getting ready to try out making pottery for the first time

My husband and I did the date night pottery class it cost $60 plus a $10 firing fee for up to three pieces of pottery . We truly had a blast. You share a pottery wheel one of you operate the wheel while the other person makes the pottery. The instructor was really good and did a great job showing and explaining how to work the clay and wheel. My husband was a natural he did awesome no one could believe it was his first time . Now me on the other hand I wasn't a natural lol but I still REALLY REALLY HAD FUN! I do wish they offered the date night classes on the weekend though! After your done with the class you have to disassemble the pottery wheel and clean it and the tools you use. You can choose to pay the fee to get your items fired and glazed or not ! You get a email in two to three weeks to come pick your items up. When we got there one of my pieces hadn't been glazed because they thought it was another classes work so she let me pick a color glaze which was really cool! I didn't mind waiting since I got a extra special blue glaze now ! We would definitely retake this class it's amazing !

The LSU Barbershop is friendly, does good work, and can't beat a $13 haircut.

I was immediately greeted and welcomed into the store, even though there were several people being assisted. There are several local vendors selling items in The Foyer, and each area has a different theme or flavor. The local artists on display are phenomenal. You can find something in all price ranges and styles as well. I found some special pieces for my mom and a gift for a student at LSU. I can't wait to go back after the holidays and shop for my house! The store is clean and easy to get around in. While sometimes the popular stalls may get a little cramped, everyone is respecting distance. Also, the numerous times I was offered assistance was great. I even saw one employee search through several ornaments to help one patron find an obscure item she thought might be there. Lucky for her, it was! I didn't get to go to the cafe this time (Heather V's), but i guarantee I will be back for some delicious sandwich or salad very soon!

I was originally here to meet some friends at Heather V's Cafe (located in the back of the gallery), just wish I had more time to shop! It was lovely to see that within the gallery there were individual "boutiques" sectioned off, which I thought added more character to the place! You could literally go into one "boutique" and find everything you needed to decorate your home or a section of your home with. I look forward to my next visit, when I can browse longer and shop for some home items or fun gifts!
