I have been a long time customer at this place, over 10 years.... I will say I have never received such rude customer service.... They claim they send text messages to you to remind you that your items are due, but people never get them. I had called to inquire about my item, which I could remember when it was due and was told it was sold. I never received the text and I am out of the state in the hospital and I was so rudely told by Brittany that it shouldn't have gone out of state if I had something in pawn.... Um excuse me what part of I've been in the hospital out of state for the last month do you not understand.... She was rude, insulting and talked down to me. I live in Lincoln but was in the area this morning and decided to stop by and see what loyalty pawn had in stock. When I was there I overheard a customer talking to who I assume is the owner. The customer was commenting on how bare the inventory was at the time. When I got back home later that day I thought about how many things I own that I could part with and make some space at home. Being a contractor and a musician I have tons of tools and music related this items around that I don't need anymore. So I packed everything up and headed back down to Roseville. When I got to the shop I spoke to the same guy ( possibly the owner) he didn't seem to happy to have to take a look at what I had, almost like it was an inconvenience. He was helping another guy who was there before me, and talking about going out to the parking lot to view a snap on tool box that was on the customers trailer. He asked me to bring all my stuff inside the store so they can see it, I said that it's too much stuff to bring in if they weren't interested so please take a look in my truck and see what is worth bringing in. He said that they were not going to go outside due to the " harsh weather conditions " lol, it was raining earlier that day but not a drop in the sky at the time... not to mention that fact that this guy and two other employees were literally heading out the door at the same time to go look at the other customers tool Box lol!!! So as I was trying to haul all this stuff inside, they were all standing in the parking lot near my truck looking at this other guys stuff. The guy who " helped" me, and an girl who may have been the manager? At least she acted like she was big stuff and called it " my store" at one point... were both very rude and did not seem to want my business in any way. So I ended up packing my stuff up and leaving without them looking at it. On my way out I let them know that there were plenty of other places where I could sell my stuff.. they didn't seem to care even a little bit. This was my first experience dealing with a pawn shop.. I think I'll stick to marketplace where there are far fewer weirdos to deal with. read more

I was a good customer going in frequently I lost my pawn tickets and the employee told me to go home and find them it would be worth it because it would save 70$ little did I know they were going to ship my jewelry off to corporate the next DAY! I would never of risk losing my jewelry to go find $70 worth of pond tickets I would've picked the $2000 worth of jewelry that day I had the money and was ready to pick up my belongings! Thanks Shamus! So far Loyalty pawn has been outstanding! They provide fair loan amounts for the items, Shamus is highly knowledgeable about music gear which makes it super simple. So far I have received no less than what I asked for on every item I have brought in. (Also helps to be realistic when asking) The guys are all easy going as well. I honestly don't understand some of these negatives reviews. Pay for your stuff and do it in time, no problems! And these guys have fair rates (lower than most) and have been straight up and honest about everything so far. Also, great customer service... Today I made a mistake (my apologies AGAIN! ) I mistook an employee for a customer and he started moving one of my items. I kind of popped off a little thinking he was some joe blow off the street grabbing my stuff, lol, and afterwards I was a little embarrassed. What retail business closes at 6 these days? Why even stay open until then? Why not just close at 4pm? Half of this area works 9-5, takes a while to get where you are going because of traffic and then you try to make it to a place during their open hours, show up at 5:55, open sign is off, doors locked, lights off. Lame. Won't be trying to return and will flag all craigslist posts I come across. If you post hours, stay open. 2 days in a row I go down and they are closed during their posted hours of operation. No one answers the phone. There's no way to leave a message. And I have to pay off a small loan by tomorrow or risk not getting my collateral back. A sign on their door says they are closed Tuesday and Wednesday this week, and to call. Today is Thursday. Still closed. I call, and you can't get through to anyone. If they end up making me lose my item or having to pay more money, then I'll be reporting them. read more

It is not very often that I have time to write reviews on a company not all experiences will be good but today after going to loyalty pawn I did not receive the type if loyalty that one would expect to receive after 20 years of doing business there. Today i realized a computer 21.5 imac for 350 on ebay sells for almost 600 at Loyalty pawn. If u are spending over a 100. Think wisely. If u hesitate you may miss a deal though , but not all of their deals are great ones. They changed business name but i hv shopped there 20 years or more but the new name is loyalty. Today I did not feel as if they were being very loyal I have been going to this place so long u would think that you could trust them face value. Over 20 years means nothing. If u are first time customer just check AMAZON WALMART EBAY AND MORE. JUST BE WELL INFORMED AS U MAY Not BE GETTING THE BEST VALIE FOR YOUR BUCKS. Most people want to save money at pawns. And as a consumer i love to save. They are kind and friendly and laughed throughout the years but you would think there would be loyal to 20 year customers. Doing business had been relatively smooth but lately I have noticed that they are charging twice is more for items as the original manufacture for example Louis Vuitton belt 400 and something dollars when you can go to Louis Vuitton and get it for 240. My advice to anyone who is who is doing business with this company is to make sure that you are well informed and well aware of the price of what you were paying for the item. If the price does not matter then this is a great place to shop , and quality is good but most people go to pawn shops to spend less not more and if you are not careful and do not do your homework and research you will be paying more and even as a person who has been going there for this many years they are not loyal enough to let me know the truth truth meaning what its selling for on line so don't expect loyalty but you can shop here at your own risk like anywhere, this is just a note so consumers can be aware that there are other places to shop. Remember Make sure that you check Walmart Amazon or eBay OR the original manufacturer when shopping because there is no loyalty when it comes to this particular store. I promised myself I would never go into a Pawn shop again! most past experiences were degrading, desperate ,embarrassing, situations, mostly troubles of my own making. It always seemed that the individual or individuals sensed fear and desperation and fed on that as their strength to some how take advantage and low ball even the most obviously fair market value. Not this place!..I brought in a my favorite high brand name guitar and was just hoping to get a loan to cover the rest of my rent. They were polite, considerate, professional and most of all fair. They looked over the guitar, went online and did their homework, and to my surprise gave me the what I asked for. Do some more research, there are plenty of local gold buyers that will pay you 90% of the value of your gold versus the 30-50% you'll receive at Capital City Loan. These guys are out to pay you as little as possible and are happy to take advantage of sellers who don't know the true value of their goods. You've been warned. read more

In October of 2015 I placed a $5000 ring on lay away. The down payment was 10%. Approximately a week later I found a private seller who had a ring of much better quality at a much better price. I then began to travel for work and it slipped my mind that I had placed the deposit on the other ring at the pawn shop. On Jan 5th 2015 I found the receipt and thought I would return to the shop and see if I could apply the $500 to another item as I was still in the market for a wedding band. Prior to arriving I reviewed the receipt and saw a disclosure that stated the payments needed to be made monthly and if any payments were missed the money I already paid would be used as a restocking fee, no refunds. I thought surely there must be an exception to the rule, and I do not want my money back, I just want credit or a portion of my $500 as credit. Upon entering the store I spoke with the clerk who stated that there was no exception and my money was lost. I asked for a manager and the manager also gave me the same info with no exceptions. His only offer was that I pay $1000 to reinstate the lay away. At this point continuing to pay was not feasible as I already purchased a ring. This is a very unfair business practice and should be further investigated on its legality. Imagine how many people lose their money after months of paying on an item and at some point cannot pay for a month or two. In this transaction the store basically made $500 to place an item in the back of their store for a month. They call it a restocking fee, this is a joke. How much does it really cost to restock a ring? Are they paying their staff $500 a minute? Otherwise it's pure highway robbery. I would caution anyone who is considering doing business with this place. A business like this has no interest in keeping a customer happy and trying to work with the community. I will be contacting the chamber of commerce, better business bureau, the news, and any other entity that needs to know. read more

This is by far the best pawnshop in Roseville!!! I needed a quick loan so I could pay a bill. I stopped at the 2 closest pawnshops by my house I first stopped at eagle pawn and Chester pawn both sucked they are very rude and cheap. After hear those guys weak offers I went another 1/2 mile down the road to Capital City Loan and let me tell you I'm glad I did they offered me 3 times what Chester and eagle offered and the pay back is next to nothing. I only needed $100 but they were kind enough to offer me up to $200. I haven't needed another loan since but if I ever do I'm coming to Capital City these guys are awesome and are seriously the nicest people around read more
