I had mixed feelings about this place, but it was more good than bad…read more The worst thing was the fire alarm. It literally went off while I was in the bath tub, then it would not stop. Apparently this is a known, rare issue and it happens during steamy showers and such. Since they couldn't stop it they moved my room. Another unfortunate thing is their business computer for guests has an outdated browser and it wouldn't let me login to Dropbox.com. That was the only thing I needed to do too. The people working at this hotel are nice and friendly. The laundry room is top notch. The hotel and rooms were very clean, tidy, roomy and cozy.

As a frequent Hilton traveler, this Hampton by Hilton location was disappointing. I had booked a…read moreking suite, and when I got into bed around 11:30 p.m., I discovered the bed was broken. I ended up sleeping--or trying to sleep--in a "V" shape for the night. The front desk did move me to another room the following morning, which I appreciated, but they were unable to keep me in the same room category. I was traveling with a colleague who is a Silver member (I am Diamond). At check-in, the front desk attendant stated that complimentary waters were only available for Gold and higher members. This was awkward and inconsistent with my experience at virtually every other Hilton property, where Silver members are also offered water. Overall, this property has some opportunities for improvement, particularly in room maintenance and consistency with Hilton Honors benefits.

The room we were given had a strange musty smell- like it had at one time been a smoking room and…read moresome tobacco smoke odor lingered. Later we noticed evidence of past flooding on the lower rooms of the property in general. As other reviewer mentioned, a coffee maker was found in the room but no coffee or supplies are provided. We didn't feel it was that horrible though as there is an excellent coffee shop right next door and also a Big Lots store just steps away where you can find most anything that you need. The window curtain/shade in our room was torn and tattered. We had to climb on the table in the room to re-secure it to the rod so it could be partially closed. It was impossible to fully close the curtain for privacy (see photo). We ended up using a part of a newspaper to block the hole in the curtain. The desk and chair in the room was comfortable and easy to adjust. Entertainment consisted of a relatively new HD TV and a clock radio with no display dim control. None of the AC outlets in the room were easy to access and there were no USB power outlets like found in most inns that were either built or remodeled since 2010. I can't think of another inn or hotel that we have stayed in that is this lacking in access to power for device chargers, etc. The room doors are exposed to the parking lot and are hardly soundproofed so it seems like you are camping out instead of staying at a hotel. Actually it was worse than camping out because generally when camping you don't hear roaring motors, slamming doors and people screaming at each other from the top floor to the parking lot until the wee hours of the morning. We were not impressed by the "complementary" breakfast items and ordered at the nearby McDonalds instead.

THAT IS BREAKING THE ADA ACT, Americans with Disabilities Act. i am 68 and use a walker, i have taken pictures through out the day and night and even did a short video about what it done to me. my daughter came monday morning and got me and my dog. by the time she got there i was both shaking and crying. i have told others and showed them my pictures too. they even had big furniture up against the walkway. furniture, mattresses, some that been out in the parking lot and on the grass that was covered with dirt from being outside so long. I WILL NEVER GO BACK OR RECCOMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. the only good thing was getting a partial refund from check out before my week was up.

WARNING! STAY AWAY! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Veteran owned and…read moreoperated business that is run very unprofessionally. During my four day stay with about 300 guests the owner was drunk, stumbling, harassing, and confrontational towards the patrons in attendance. The shower and restroom facilities we had paid for were not in working order until the day we departed. We were limited to one porta potty for about 300 people, you could imagine how uncomfortable and unsanitary it was. As a result, people even left the fundraiser for wounded veterans which resulted in loosing the opportunity to raise awareness. During the later hours of the event the owner's unprofessional conduct progressed to the point of threatening over ten of us and that that he would quote, "ejaculate" us out of there. No it's not a typo, he said he would ejaculate us. He was also especially rude to the veterans in attendance with Purple Hearts, saying derogatory comments that should not be posted on a public website.

I stayed here 1 year ago this week. I had the most fun and felt treated like family. The quest, and…read moreregular patrons took me in as if they had know me all the time. I have camped extensively all over the US and this has been one of the best places I have ever been to. Beautiful water fall and stream running creek side lots of room for campers with a few rustic cabins for rent. We played pool, corn hole, karaoke, and we sat around the fires and enjoyed the other guest gathered there and the beauty of this spot. It was a celebration weekend so they had a band, food trucks and full bath houses. I see one terrible review here. I had a different experience all together. You have to figure plumbing will fail, some times folks get rowdy. But the review seemed like they were speaking of a different place. Seems like they stayed there anyway for a few days. If I had that bad of an experience, I would have left the first day. Life is what you make it sometimes. I can't wait to get back there. Hopefully this weekend, weather pending!!
