Just when you think you've visited the worst Walmart in your life in another town.... whaam! , here…read moreyou arrive at the Walmart in Pecos Texas. Of course pretty much everything in Pecos Texas is overcrowded, run-down and expensive for what they really are. Except for Walmart! You get your standard Walmart prices but you do not have an automotive department, no 24 hours and even longer lines, but you do get to dodge Isles full of inventory that need to be broken down and items put on the shelves. Also, don't let me get started on the 20 plus people deep line because like overcrowded Pecos Texas everybody is trying to pack 10 pounds of crap in a 5lb bag, Walmart is no exception. This is one place that definitely needed to be a super Walmart. I'm going to hate to give this advice to you but the Family Dollar and general dollar down the road put this Walmart to shame. Now that you might have taken this advice, please do me a favor and do not go into these dollar stores until I am done finished and left this piece of a something town. I don't want my favorite places to get overcrowded. Oh, and before I go one more important thing, the parking lot! You think you're from Houston and driving /parking cannot get any worse than those Asians in Bellaire? Yes those people, but these people put the people that Park in Walmart to shame, actually make them look like professionals or something because if you try to come in here with a nice vehicle you can pretty much be assured you will have 6 Vehicles parked around a 4 space to park a lot around you in Every Which Way but Loose. The parking lot confuses out-of-towners. Folks put puppies in the back of trucks here. So sad. In the evenings the migratory birds swarm all of the trees and they are so loud. It's crazy. Let's move into the actual store finally... The place has been an absolute mess and then some. Dirty. Unorganized. Open packages. The carts suck. The shelves are empty or damn near it. The attitudes from the employees equal those of the other patrons. Why is it like this? The only reason I give it 3 stars is because of the low prices. Ample parking during the mid-mornings. And at self-check I can still purchase whiskey, tequila, and beer with the assistance of an employee. It doesn't take more than a minute usually. I have found that it's faster and more efficient to do self-checkout as much as I detest it. That sums up this love-hate relationship.

My RX with GoodRX was $700 at Walgreens yet it was only $30 here. And that's for a month supply! That's a major difference on my budget for a RX that I can't live without! And if you know that a RX is coming, let them know you anticipate your doctor prescribing it and they will make sure it is in stock so you never run out! Now I am never out of my hard to find RX. And they have shorter pharmacy lines with much more polite staff members! So much better than Walgreens or CVS!

The cashier quickly greeted us and told us a quick rundown about what they had, and where to order. There was so much food to pick from and it was hard to pick just one meal. Our food didn't take too long and a different employee dropped it off. She was also very friendly and attentive. My chicken was delicious and HUGE. I couldn't finish it, so I had to take it on home. The sides are small, but they also accompanied my dish with a bread roll, some barbecue sauce, and a jalapeño with onions. My husband loved his brisket tacos and loved them even more after he poured some bbq sauce on top. They are also a market so they sell a lot of goods, fresh meat, and dairy. The inside is small but it all flows great. The fresh meat all looked of great quality and prices are reasonable! Can't wait to be back to try something else!

On one occasion, I mentioned that the entrance had an unpleasant odor like body odor it hits you in the face when you open the door the next time, I did come in the smell was not there. Today, I called the store to schedule a Hydrotherapy appointment. I spoke with a gentleman who informed me that Amy's available slots for these appointments are at 1:00-2:00 PM or 2:30 PM. I explained that these times wouldn't work for me and asked if there were other options. He mentioned that Amy might be flexible with her schedule. I then checked my calendar to see if I could accommodate one of the regular times, as he also mentioned there were available slots in August. He then asked what time would work for me, and I replied with 5 PM. He immediately responded, "Blah, I don't think Amy will do that," cutting me off before I could finish. I was about to suggest 5 PM this week or 12:30 PM next Monday if that was possible, but I never got the chance. So, I said, "Um, okay, never mind." He responded, "No, Jessica, what is it? Well, what is it?" I told him I would find another place for the treatment. He said something I couldn't hear, and I ended the call by telling him his response was rude before hanging up. I already felt uncomfortable discussing this appointment with a man, and his rudeness made it even worse. Hydrotherapy involves being partially exposed, with only a blanket covering you, so it's crucial for me to feel comfortable with the staff and the environment. This comfort is essential for a positive experience. I will no longer shop here!

I wish I had pictures of the marvelous rows of supplements and herbs. we were going to the caverns the next day and I was desperate for something for dizziness. on top of that I am allergic to SOOO many things but the gentleman was excellent at helping me read labels and find what I needed. thanks to his help I was able to sleep without the room spinning and enjoy the hours at the caverns. that is the place to go if your not finding what you need lsewhere.
