We had such a great experience at Lowe's in Thomasville, thanks to several outstanding employees. Gabe truly went above and beyond, taking the time to track down everything we needed and even checking other stores when an item wasn't available locally. In flooring, there was a wonderful associate whose name I regret not remembering--she patiently answered all our questions and helped us narrow down the overwhelming number of choices to find exactly what we were looking for. We also had a return that could have easily turned into a nightmare due to the wrong item being loaded, but Cookie--and I believe Tonya or Sonya--in customer service handled it with incredible patience and care, making sure everything was done correctly. Robbie in plumbing was equally helpful, pointing us in the right direction and sharing great information that helped us feel confident in our purchase. I know Lowe's sometimes gets a bad rap, but these employees truly stood out and made our experience a great one. read more

Dennis and George racially discriminated my husband and step son today. So beware when dealing with these two men at Lowe's. They work at the Pro Service Desk. Dennis seems to think just because he is a tall man he can intimidate people. read more

8/23/2025. So to start with we had to go to lowes in Moultrie GA yesterday because as always Lowe's in Thomasville GA did not have what we were looking for. So today my husband goes to Lowe's to get a #2 non treated yellow pine board. (Been buying them fron Stones about 200 of them but stones was closed by the time he figured out he needed one more to finish his project) well my hubby could've find the 1 board he needed so ask an employee where they were, right there he said and my hubby said that's white board, guys said same thing , hubby said no it isn't. So employee said ok here it is, hubby said no that is spruce. I am going to stain this board and I need yellow pine, they said this spruce is the same, again hubby says no it isn't. He goes to get supervisor and he said this is it, hubby said no that is white pine!! So he looks up inventory on his phone said we have 200 and something, they are outside, hubby said they can't be outside in the weather there not treated. Supervisor said I don't know where they are. Hubby leaves without his board! We have an account with Lowe's Thomasville and they have missed out on so much business from us due to the incompetence of there employees. This happens over and over and over again! They never cease to amaze us, year after year. If we had a Home Depot here we would not frequent Lowes! We often go to Moultrie GA just to purchase from Home Depot. We have given Lowes so many chances over the years to step up and just do yourejob but it always circles bac to the ​same ole same ole. read more

Economics 101: 78.5% of something is better than 100% of nothing- which is what Lowe's got this morning. This situation serves as an example of one reason why brick & mortar stores are failing- even to their own brand. I needed a pressure switch to fix my well and saw Lowe's had it on sale for about 20% off. I also needed a pressure gauge, which was not on sale. Fortunately I had other business in Thomasville, so this wasn't a wasted trip. When I checked the price at self-serve checkout (no regular registers were open), it was full price. I asked the cashier standing by self serve if the store could match Lowe's online. She checked with the manager and said no. The failure here is I could buy it online and pick it up for the discounted price (with about a 3 hour wait), but the manager lacked authority to sell it for the same price. Management failure. I left the items at the register and walked out. Also fortunately, I had ordered one on Amazon the day before and it was delivered later today, and at a much better price. read more

Another & if possible last bad experience with this location Waited a couple of minutes for help with cutting keys & even an associate walked by Went to the customer "NO" service desk & said they do cut keys & she would call someone to help - again another wait with no person coming IF - Home Depot was here in Thomasville- I believe it would put this place out of business OR at least force them to change their attitudes. read more

I bought a roof shingle through Lowes it was the forever lifetime shingle from GAF. I also purchased the install service. The roofer who came out to install the roof was Joe H. hired by Lowe's. I was told I would be covered if it leaked. 7 Years later my roof leaked and I called Joe H to fix it and he hung up on me and Lowes does not cover it. Never again read more

How can anyone get any help at an establishment where the employees sit on their phone and ignore you. You can't! My husband use to do business here frequently but to both our horror the last year has changed the store in so many bad ways. My husband use to do business in the garden section as well, but guess what? You can't get anyone to help you whatsoever! And after waiting for 45 minutes I flagged someone down who was leaning on a forklift and he said he'd help me. Waited 30 more minutes and just grabbed the dirt myself. The girl at the register was on her phone and scuffed at me when I voiced my complaints to her and told me the guy I spoke to was the outside manager! We will be going to home depo or Walmart from now on. read more
