When I called to check on the order prior to it's arrival, customer service was very respectful and friendly. I got a call before my order was delivered, and it was delivered the same day and time I was promised, the 2 delivery guys were friendly, and they set up my new range for me. I am very satisfied so far, and will order from Lowe's delivery again, and trust that the guys from Starkville Lowe's will get it here safely. read more

After spending over 30 minutes w/the new obnoxious AI phone tree (which when asking for a specialist in flooring, it began listing *all* available vinyl flooring), when I did get a person, they then put me on hold twice, the second time keeping me waiting for another 10 minutes. When asking for something quite simple -- that some flooring might be shipped from the Jackson store, the "team leader" on this stuff proceeded to explain in ridiculous detail what makes that hard on their end. When one has expressed frustration at having one's time wasted, it would behoove sales associates to answer with concise, direct answers. Very bad experience. read more

I have called the garden center 8 times and no one answers the phone. I called customer service and they hung up on me. I called back and they connected me to the garden center even after I told them that no one would answer the phones and guess what happened? No one answered the phone again. So can you tell me, Lowe's Store Manager, why do you have a complicated phone directory if none of you will answer the phone?! Such inconsiderate stores do not deserve my business. I'll go to Tractor Supply and I suggest everyone else does too. read more

My family and I tried to buy a refrigerator today, and we were offered the Lowe's credit card for the extra 10% off. When we got up to the register none of the employees knew how to give us the 10% we were promised after signing up for the credit card and we left the store without the refrigerator. The employees were unhelpful and arrogant and it was a major disappointment. read more

Terrible customer service! First the delivery of our washer dryer was pushed back 5 days for some reason. They call to say delivery will be the next day. On a hunch, my wife calls that morning. Turns out not only will delivery not be today, but the machines aren't even in the US yet. They would be in Geogia maybe by the end of the week. I was dumb enough to buy another (more expensive) model because we needed it. This is not to mention the rude appliance lady at the store. All around an awful experience. read more

Driving between JC Penneys tonight headed West, when this older lady on the Lowes Forklift gives me a gestures facially like I am doing something wrong, and I braked and asked whats her problem and she asnwers back, WE ALL HAVE TO BE CAREFUL, huh? I asked for her name with no response, so I circled back to the store, had a manager named Steve come out and do really nothing but to take my name down to the GM , Matt. Starkville and MIssissippi wonders alway why the State of Mississippi is so low paying and #50 just about everything across the board nationally, it is this kind of attitdue this forklift driver has and much more. I am going to let, Matt, the GM have it as he should have trained this Lady how to drive a forklift, no lights on this late at night and then chatting with another car while she has a load of palllets on the forks. Real safety involved here and that is the fault of the store GM, Matt. Take this lady of the forks and I am calling in a complaint to OSHA about this performance. read more

We needed carpet and custom blinds installed. We made a total of 5 trips to Lowe's (1 hr away) and encountered issues and untrained employees at each visit. We were told we had to sign a contract in person for the blinds, and that we could come in Saturday anytime before 6. Upon arrival on Saturday, we were told there was no one working that could help us and come back Monday. Two different employees called the shift manager, Stephen, and both times he refused to speak to us. read more

If I could give a zero I would. This is the most miss managed store I have ever seen. It took them over a month to get a quote on a basic countertop. They kept saying it was due to their fax machine not working, but they have at least 3 in the store. Most of the workers are more concerned with gossiping and hanging out than with helping customers.
