I was in the store yesterday looking to buy a dryer standing at a dryer for like 10 minutes not one person stopped to asked if could help. I walked to the desk and a guy with his rainbow flag and short shorts piercings was so rude like it was a chore to come and help me. I was very respectful and kind but he was a total jerk. Like he couldn't be bothered. Lowes use to be a good store but I refuse to shop there ordered a dryer from Home Depot if there are any Military who read this order from the Base Exchange online they have Home Depot now and I am getting free delivery from MWC. Had very poor customer service at checkout in the garden center that resulted in us having to all the way back up to customer service to get it corrected. We eventually got the error corrected and asked to talk to a manager about our experience. After waiting on her to finally come to the customer service desk she was obviously not concerned about our poor experience or dealing with the rude checkout clerk. As we were loading our stuff in the car I noticed the same manager out front just wandering around talking to another manager. I caught her attention and pointed out the employee goofing off ignoring everyone else in the garden center looking for help. She looked and then just walked off without dealing with it. So my biggest complaint is the management at this location encouraging bad customer service. I find fewer and fewer reasons to go into this Lowe's. Poor value service. read more

I called the store last week and never could get a live person to answer the phone. I just wanted to verify availability before I went to the store in person and made the 45 minute drive. The automated system said they had two types of the 'creeping phlox' that I was looking for. Once I arrived at the store, I walked around and looked at the selections twice before giving up and asking a person at the lawn & garden register if they could help me. He said he didn't know what that type of plant was and couldn't help me find it. I also asked if he could call someone that was more knowledgeable about the plants and he said he couldn't. Needless to say, I left the store and didn't buy anything from them. I've been to this store many times over the years but the amount of time it takes to get assistance or to find someone to help you is insane! read more

For the most part, our experience with customer service was not a problem. We had bought a Black & Decker edger and blower on the Lowe's website and when we got it, the battery wouldn't charge. After taking it to the store, we learned the charger was defective. Our money was quickly refunded. We went to get another one but they do not stock Black and Decker lawn equipment in store. Lowes corporate's published stance on COVID-19 sounds great but how is it implemented and enforced? I only use the Shawnee, Oklahoma Lowes store so can't comment on other locations. I was in the Shawnee Oklahoma Lowes the other day to get a few items and was appalled to see less than half the store employees were wearing their masks properly. Some had their masks over their neck and chin with no coverage to the mouth or nose. Others had their mask over their mouth but not their nose. Ordinarily, I might ask for help finding what I want to buy but am not comfortable approaching unmasked employees. COVID-19 is serious business, literally a case of life and death. I am not favorably impressed with the Shawnee Lowe's lack of proper attention to detail. Employee actions are a reflection of their supervision. I prefer shopping the Shawnee store in person but it seems the lack of concern for the well being of customers on the part of management makes that too dangerous. Lowes won't be getting my business in the future until or unless I hear reports that the situation is markedly improved. This is a customer service review: This is disappointing because we shop here so frequently. I took my parents here because they were in need of an oven range. We found one we liked online, made the 30 min drive with full cash in hand. When there we were never greeted or asked if we needed any help. Finally we saw someone and waited over 30 mins while he did computer work. He looked at us multiple times but never thought to say anything at all. After a few more minutes we decided to leave. While we were walking out of his section he made eye contact and continued to look on his computer. Never hesitated to say "I'll be right with you" or "just a min". Because of this we will be taking our business elsewhere. read more

The worst customer service ever!! Just purchased a new home and bought probably $10,000 worth of various items from this store, most of which was meant to be delivered. We would receive texts stating our delivery was scheduled for a specific day and would rearrange our schedules for the delivery but they never came on multiple occasions. When we called to get help/update we would be transferred multiple times and then hung up on with no answer to our questions or whereabouts of our items that we have purchased. Great store but please hire people that actually care to help customers. read more

So my husband and I came to this Lowe's because it was closest to our home. We bought two John Deere mowers one was a zero turn and the other was just the normal John Deere 54 inch cutting blade ;plus a few other things for taking care of our property! first off it was hard to find somebody to help you out! You would think for as much as it cost to buy a "John Deere" that you would get good customer service! That's just not the case at this "Lowe's " the workers could not even find a key so that we could start the mower; that should have been our first clue! then it's missing parts!!!! We had to find some one from another part of the store to help! You would think that by buying a new one; you're safe for at least a year or more ; unless you're trying to mow rocks!!!!! But once again that's not the case at this Lowe's! so we tried to bring the mower back after the first use it stops running it would not start again ; we tried everything ;then we tried returning it to the store; anyway without getting ugly the ending result was they didn't care it was a John Deere product I need to contact a John Deere representative!!! ‼I DON'T RECOMMEND COMING HERE ‼ read more

This location is so inefficient. We waited over 20 minutes to be helped and finally out of embarrassment someone from another department helped us- they didn't carry what we needed and special ordered it which took 2 weeks to get ( turns out it only took 4-5 days if we had ordered online) When calling to check on the order I waited on hold for 10-15 minutes, was hung up on once, and the assistant was so rude. Then waited for the delivery but nothing, I went in to see about the order and was told the date was still 6 days out. Canceled the order and they only refunded part of the money for there store, the items coming from another shop they would not refund the money. Welcome to Lowe's where even if you know exactly what you are looking for no one will help you. I went in to get a wheelbarrow and a broom, I figured I would have to have someone help me with the wheelbarrow since it was just me and my two kids under the age of three. So I got a cart found the brooms and went to the register to pay. I asked the lady if she could help me find the wheelbarrow. She said no she was new and I would have to go to the garden department... I left my cart with her so I could bring the wheelbarrow back. By this time I'm carrying Mu 2 year old as well as my 5 month old. I see another Lowe's employee ask if she can help me find a wheelbarrow, she was able to tell me an isle number. It was the wrong number... two more associates were visiting close to the isle I was told to go to so I asked for help again, he said it would be in a box so I put my two year old on a flat cart so I could put the box on it... he couldn't find them in the boxes so we went to the garden center they had a couple set up... no one offered to help me so I put the toddler into the wheelbarrow and wheeled it past all the registers stopping to adjust my kids a few times. No one offered to help me. I went to the checkout I paid put my broom in the wheelbarrow with my child and wheeled it across the parking lot, luckily for me two very nice men (not employees just good people) came and helped me load my wheelbarrow... we will not be going to Lowe's in the future read more

Staff was very helpful would give the employees a 5 star. As we waited in line for over 20 minutes because on a Saturday at 2:00 with a parking lot full of people there was only 2 registers open and one was an employee that had just started. When I ask a supervisor if they could open more registers she snap at me because I was paying cash and she could only run a card on any other registers. Not the employees fault. Once we made it to the outdoor lumber yard with it completely full there were no employees to be found. Again poor management. Very poor management. Shopped there for years for many things and have had only two "less than excellent" experiences. Once a young man treated me as if I was stupid because I couldn't understand how to measure for a storm door. And recently, buying a toilet, the clerk wrote payment for it plus installation, they delivered it THEN I learned the installers were not installers but came to MEASURE for the toilet! But I called my plumber to install and got my money back on the Lowes installation! Otherwise, I've had a fence built, storage building erected, carpet and flooring laid, etc in my home and rental property plus suggestions for contractors and all those other little things I need. I have to say I really was disappointed in not receiving my delivery today for our new fridge, we rearranged our day so that my husband could be home to wait for our delivery, but it didn't happen. I called and spoke with a manager, and Chris answered. He wasn't able to give me any information right away, but he did ask if he could call us back with more information. Later today he called me left a voicemail, also called my husband and gave item numbers to other fridges that were in stock, unbelievable customer service. He went above and beyond, you took us from being upset, back to happy customer. You really should us how much you cared, the time you spent making sure we're satisfied "unbelievable customer service". Lowe's in Shawnee OK, you guys have an amazing manager by the name of Chris. We went to the store to pick out some flooring samples and the gentleman that helped us and told us about the install process was great. Took a few samples home and decided we loved one! We tried three time to get a hold of someone in the flooring department, sat on hold for over an hour combined with no luck! The third time we called and FINALLY got a hold of someone in flooring, set up a time for measurements to be taken. The flooring guy this time was extremely rude and put us back on hold for half an hour! This is ridiculous! We are looking to spend thousands of dollars on one of many home projects! read more

Went to the Shawnee store today to have a garbage disposal installed that I purchased from Lowes. Four employees were standing together just BS'ing. I asked one of them that I needed some installation work done. He said that he would call plumbing. I waited over an half hour but no one showed up. But of course the four amigos were still BS'ing. This is the second time in a row that we tell the checker we want to use our MILITARY DISCOUNT and she says okay, then we check out and I look and say "where is our discount". oh, I forgot, but you can go to the service desk and get a refund. I went in to find a 6" door frame. They did not have what i needed so bought what was on hand. i could use if i ripped down the existing jamb on the table saw to make up the difference.....which they seemed to find humorous. They asked if i planned on doing this myself. WTF? They were unfamiliar with correct hardware terminology and did not want to know. Look if i wanted a fight then i would go to a bar,what i wanted was some help finding what i needed. Not some childish bullshit. I had carpet installed earlier this year and the contractors did a great job. The flooring people were friendly and courteous. I used to go into the store several times a month for building supplies. From now on i will have Buford White order what i need or go into Norman which has Forest and Norman Plywood and Door and also a Home Depot. But after today,they will no longer get any of my business. They get one star which is one more star than total f#cks given today. read more

Generally when I think of Lowe's I think of a very helpful staff in a nice facility. I don't live in Shawnee, nor shop at Lowe's regularly, but I needed a spare key made and the only place I knew to go was lowe's. My first stop in the store was the restroom which was very easy to find with huge signs guiding me there. I know this store is basically a hardware store and I didn't expect the bathrooms to be anything special. I honestly looked around the bathroom and thought "does anyone ever clean this?" With trash on the ground and counters. Dirty dirty floors and mirrors smuggled I was far from happy to be there. Thankfully the door had one of those foot pulls at the bottom so I didn't have to use my hands to get out. As I left I realized I had no idea where to go for my key. I asked an employee and she said it is in hardware. Somehow I still couldn't find it. The next worker I found was in plumbing, he told me it was back up at the front under the big hardware sign and a Huge key. He seemed a little annoyed that I had asked him. But I didn't know I don't shop at Lowe's! Once I finally found the key place I couldn't find an employee. I ended up walking to the cashier and asking for someone to help. They made a general announcement over the loud speakers In the whole building for someone to meet me at the hardware desk. no one ever came. I got sick of waiting there and looking silly because clearly no one was going to come help me. The other costumer would look at me sympathetically as if they knew no one would come help me. Needless to say I didn't get a key made and left second guessing Lowe's and their quality of employees. As a small business operator myself if I find employees who aren't willing to do the small things at our business then I don't feel that they are trustworthy to do the big important things.
