Went to Lowe's in Millington to buy flowers. potting soil and several bags of mulch! Very nice lady at check out said the boys would help us load the mulch and potting soil! My husband is 77 and just had a total knee replacement! When he got to the outdoor loading space there were 2 young men talking! He asked if they could help him load the mulch and showed them his receipt! without any response from the workers they turned their back on him and went back into the store! One on a forklift and the other followed behind! No explantation , no help! My husband loaded the mulch and potting soil with my help! Totally unacceptable! We are very disappointed as this Lowe's is just minutes from our house! We'll definitely find another store whose employees are willing to help! read more

Ordered a car turn mower, French door refrigerator, washer and dryer for a new house we are moving into. Drove 75 miles and took off work to meet delivery. They delayed my delivery and never notified me. I got back home at 11pm. Call and complained to deaf ears. Just wanted to sweep it under the rug and reschedule. Go to Home Depot! Lowe's has become so big they could care less about you or your money. Once they get your money you have to fight with them afterwards. Lazy and worthless! read more

I went into lowe's to buy a dryer. First of all, no one was in the area for like, 10 minutes before. I could flag someone down to look at a dryer that they had on display. The manager came back and said they could not find it. Would I like to look at another one so I said? How about this one and she said? I don't have any of those so I said. What about the rest of them? And she said they're all up on racks and can't be taken down while the machines are being charged. I would give them no stars, but that would be too generous. I also asked her if I could buy the floor model which they could replace once they found them. And she said no, not unless they're on clearance. What a total nightmare. I will never go back here again or recommend them to anyone unless you're a masochist. read more

Terrible customer service. The available manager and customer service reps could not figure out how to honor a buy one get one free advertisement. Their solution? But the ladder and then keep coming back to the store until the free one is in stock. I asked them to call me when one is available and they said the system couldn't do that. We were both greeted when we came into the store and it was easy to find someone to help us find the door that we needed. Just felt the need to let everyone know my experience so hopefully it won't happen to someone else. I ordered a upright freezer from Millington Lowes September 25. It was scheduled to be delivered the first week in October. I received a phone call that it had to be rescheduled for the following week. I Received a second call the following week that it needed to be rescheduled and they gave me a reschedule date. The third reschedule date I made arrangements to be at home. I did not receive a phone call telling me that for the 3rd time it needed to be rescheduled. I made arrangements to be at home and had started unloading my large chest freezer for the delivery of upright. When I did not hear from anyone that morning on specific delivery time I called the Lowes and was on the phone a total of "45 minutes" with multiple transfer of call, no pick up, and multiple hang ups Unable to speak to anyone. Since then this freezer has been scheduled for delivery 4 additional times and even though freezer has not been delivered I have never received a phone call from Lowes cancelling the delivery. When I would try to call the day before to confirm the multiple rescheduled deliveries, I would be on the phone for 20-30 minutes with multiple disconnections or the phone ringing & ringing and frequently no one would pick up. The last time I spoke to someone they said it would be delivered on Nov 28, 9 weeks from my purchase. When I called to confirm once again it was a 30 minute fiasco of ringing phone, dropped calls, and "I'm sorry I can't help you will have to get someone else". My freezer was scheduled 7 different times, and I was only notified the first two times that it would not be delivered as scheduled. I was told on two occasions a manager would call me back. I never received a call back from store manager. . The only time I got a return phone call was when I contacted Lowes main customer service. I realize at times there are distrubution problems that may be out of retailors control, however, the lack of communication, scheduling deliveries, and then never calling back on 4 different occasions to let customer know that it would not be delivered is definitely a lack of communication, poor customer service, and poor follow up within the store. I had to ask on two occasions if someone could not contact the distribution center and find out status of freezer. I would think that would be something that they would do without the customers prompting/insistence. As a homeowner/consumer of 40 years I have never experienced anything like this. This was the biggest waste of time and energy. I paid for this freezer two months ago. I just hope reimbursement goes much smoother than what I've experienced in the last two months. Thankfully I've heard rumor that Home Depot is coming to our area soon. read more

If you want poor customer service, this is the place. It's not the first time either. But today, I asked a simple question. What isle do I find a water heater element on. Another customer butted in and asked a "quick question". The store employee then walked away from me to help this other person. My question was unanswered and my money will now be spent at Home Depot. How hard is it to say "I'll be with you in just a minute"? Poor training leads to poor service. read more

My husband and I waited approximately 30 mins to get help in the appliance department and finally went to the front to ask for assistance. A worker at the desk got "smart" with my spouse. When my spouse and I requested to talk to a manager the worker had the nerve to confront my spouse again and basically called him a liar about the exchange. The really bad thing is that the manager watched and heard the whole thing, but was more interested in appeasing the worker, while apologizing to us for the worker's behavior. WOW, all I can say! By far the worst Lowe's I've ever been in, and having lived all over the nation I've frequented several. After searching throughout the plumbing section of the store to locate the items I needed, I realized the items were not in the correct location. Though they were, for the most part in the correct boxes, the majority of the boxes were not placed by their price tag-none of the item numbers matched up. This meant additional time spent on my part to try and locate the right prices for each piece. Then I finally make my way to the slowest checkout possible, and as I'm being rung up I'm told in order to receive my military discount I must have a MyLowes account. At this point I decide it's just not worth my time, nor spending my money here. A very disorganized location. read more

Several of the staff are very hard working and pleasant, but more often than not there are not enough people working. We have purchased 3 major appliances in the last 2 months and curbside pickup is a mess! They always tell us the phones are a huge problem and can never get anyone to answer in appliances. I have stood for long periods of time waiting to be acknowledged when I needed help. Today when I arrived at 4:15pm the garden center was locked up- I had to get a flatbed, walk through the store out to the garden center and load my garden soul, back through the store into a long line and then back across to load it. Normally you can go in the garden center, pay and get help loading. Sign says garden center open until 6pm- I certainly hope the crew that work that area are ok- they are the most helpful and pleasant people this store has. I'm trying to always shop local stores, but this place makes it difficult- I'm thinking Home Depot May be my go to in the future read more

This is our local Lowes store, and we love it. The people here, even newer employees, have always been super helpful, and will stop what they are doing to come show you where something is that you need and can't find. If the person is new and doesn't know a location of an item, he or she will find out from an older employee and help look for it. Restrooms are spacious and usually clean and stocked. The garden section is also beautiful and well-stocked. Online orders have been on time or early. The Lowes is conveniently located near other shopping and multiple places to eat, including Chik-Fil-A on Hwy.51 directly in front of Lowes. read more

I've been going to Millington store since it's first day as I also frequent Home Depot and Lowe's stores in Memphis and Jackson,Overall most the time I go in Millington store somebody ask if I need help,I even went in one time needing a Fridge for my own house,looked and studied the fridges probably for an hour no one ever came up and I couldn't find anyone even asking in another department,I left ferrous.i forced myself to stop next day cause I saw a fridge I really liked,and WOW!! Talking about a wonderful shopping experience guy meet me before I could get to the fridge I had been looking at.i give em a 6 on that experience,I guess if we want a good price and convince of local store we can't expect an experience pro to wait on us every time we walk through there door! read more

This Lowe's store is not worth the effort. Over the last few months inventory and customer service has gone severely downhill. Over the last few months I have tried unsuccessfully to buy a simple electrical outlet and grey, aluminum "L" brackets for shelving. The store was out of both and no one could tell me when they would be resupplied. This store is on my way home so it is a shame things have deteriorated to this point. There is never anyone available to help you find something, if they have it in stock and the lines at the registers, during peak hours are never manned properly. This Lowe's has the worst customer service. I just bought a new home and spend alot of time here. I had a couple of good employees to assist me. They seem under staffed. Twice out of three times I tried to use my temporary credit card, the cashiers told me it's not activated. I have to explain to them, yes it works. And they act like it's the biggest hassel to type in my info. Today, Brittany the cashier, let out a huge sigh when she had to do so. She just seemed rude. I never say anything to the employees for being rude because you never know what kind of day they are having but I'm getting tired of going in there to spend my money on rude employees. I've been coming to this Lowe's location for over 10 years now. I had never had a problem with anything at all. As a matter of fact, I kind overspend my money most of the time because it makes me feel manly buying all that project stuff that my wife makes me do on the weekends. They stand behind on all the product they sell, especially Troy Built. I bought a Troy Built weed trimmer about a year ago. Last week, that same weed trimmer's broke after half way doing my lawn. So I had to finish trimming the yard with my old electric weed trimmer. A week later, I went to Lowe's and told customer service that the shaft of my weed trimmer broke and I threw the receipt away 6 months ago because I did not see any problem. The customer service lady told me to go home and get the weed trimmer, she'll check the serial number of my weed trimmer and she'll see what they could do. I went home grabbed my broken weed trimmer and brought it to Lowe's. Another customer service lady checked out the broken weed trimmer and she immediately told me to get myself another Troy Built weed trimmer. I quickly did and they gave me another receipt. I asked them how much do I owe and both ladies told me "nothing" because Troy Built sticks to there brand. Wow that's what I call customer service and sticking to there product!!! From now on I will not go anywhere else and I am sticking with Lowe's for all of my house and garden project needs. read more

Over all, I believe that Millington Lowes is a great store. Most of the people there are very nice and willing to help. The only problem areas I see are when you go to order a project. IE; flooring, windows, siding, etc it tends to be a headache. Particularly from one name Graham Black that works in projects/millwork. He doesn't give a damn about your questions or concerns. All he sees you as is another number thru the door. He's all about gimmie, gimmie, gimmie your money and we'll talk later. read more

This is the third time I've ordered merchandise online, for pickup at the Millington store, and the third time my order wasn't ready, after receiving an email saying it was ready for pickup. The last time, I simply went back and got the item off the shelf myself, after waiting 10-15 minutes for someone that never showed up. THIS time my order was for a gas grill, assembled. I waited 20 minutes for them to tell me it hadn't been assembled yet. The manager on duty informed me something must be wrong with the computer order system or some such, and would have IT look at it. Either way, I have to make another trip to Lowe's later tonight. The "Service Manager" and little "Customer Service" girl could both use refresher courses in "Customer Service ". What is ordering on line good for if you have to pull the item from the shelf yourself, or tell them in person the item is supposed to be assembled? I could go on, but why???? read more

Lowes of Millington, TN has been the absolute worst place that I have ever purchased windows from. They do not care about the customer; its all about making a sale and taking your money. The employees are not that knowledgeable in their department either. I honestly hate my purchase with them. And now I'm stuck paying hard earned money for some cheap lousy windows. The installer, Bobby Bricco brings his son to help with the work and has little to no experience what so ever. I will never make any purchases like this again.
