    This rating is based solely on my experience at the returns counter. There are two registers when you walk into Lowe' s - a pick up and a return. There was an employee at the pickup register but none at the return. Because it was very obvious which lane was which, I waited patiently at the return register thinking the cashier must have just stepped away. After a few minutes, the cashier at pickup told me someone would be right up. A couple more minutes and another employee did arrive. I thought she was the cashier. This employee came to the register where I was waiting and I heard her say "how are you?" I thought she was talking to me and I answered "fine" and asked how she was doing. She looked me straight in the face and, with a good amount of attitude, said "I'm not talking to you". I think my mouth may have fallen open a little. Then she asked why was I standing at the register. I said it was the return line. She pointed to a queue now 6 people deep and told me there was only one register open. Mind you, there was absolutely no indication that the register was closed. Should I have deduced that the register was closed because there was no one manning it? Possibly I couldn't read her name on her badge as it was partially covered by her apron but she did have a big stack of "excellent" patches hanging off a pin on the apron. Yes, it's only 3 days after Christmas and I could see her being tired and burned out but such a nasty attitude isn't excusable, especially when your job is customer service. Will I be back? Of course, it's Lowe's. Should I have known the register was closed? I'm not sure how, but I'll give it a maybe. Should I cut her a break because everyone has a bad day? Also a maybe - she's obviously a good employee based on the number of patches hanging on her apron. But does she have the right to be flat out rude? Never, nobody does.

    Great selection and service. The App helps me find items in store map and website is good place to start when starting a project. I used valspar wood stain tinted and a Wagner Qx5 sprayer to restrain my fence -, worked well!

    Came in here quick to grab a couple things for a new house we bought. I needed a dryer vent hose. They were tough to find, but I did find them eventually. The other thing I wanted was the snap on blinds for a door with a window. They had the size we needed and they had several in stock. I also love that we get a 10% military discount.

However for me its questions galore, like a kid in a candy store. What's this, what's that, How does this work, what is this for. Educational experience, I could spend hours in places like this just asking questions. The store is pretty large consider the outside does look a bit small, they have I think everything? One Aisle of power tools, an aisle and half of the air compressor tools. It is definitely really interesting. Welding supplies, air compressors, Gas tanks, generators, lawnmowers ( slim selection right now), clothing, pallet jacks, really they have a ton of stuff. The employees were super helpful they stopped and asked how we were doing a few times as we wondered through the store. I was randomly picking up objects and my husband was looking at different tools and supplies he would like. Overall it is a great experience. We will definitely be back. He did say the prices in the store were a bit higher than the catalog they have, but with the shipping and handling cost in the catalog the store prices might equal.

The store is well stocked, clean (it is new) and the customer service is very friendly. They want to help, but they are constrained. Customer service, including the manager, is not authorized to make the customer happy with actions that are commonplace and expected elsewhere. I spent 15 minutes analyzing things to figure out what I wanted to buy as an impact socket set that I need this afternoon. I finally settled on one of the blue Inside Track Club items because that was by far the best deal for me. I am a member of their inside track club, but the socket set rang up as a regular priced item. I went back and removed the blue tag from the shelf and brought it to the cashier. The manager was called, who inspected the fine print and concluded that the discount had expired 7/31 (today was 8/6) and they had just failed to remove the advertisement from the shelf...for a week, They "were not authorized" to adjust the price. In other words, the store manager doesn't have the discretion and authority at the store level to make things right. I've never been to a big brick and mortar store that had this policy and wouldn't honor something on the shelf like that. Trying to help my feelings they told me I could come back next weekend to their tent sale and buy it that way. I don't need it in two weeks...I need it today and had my hopes up. Is that $20 really worth leaving a bitter taste in a long time customer's mouth? It really isn't about the $20...but more about how they handled it. Evidently the $20 was more important to corporate, though...two stars for corporate limitations and rigid policy that doesn't allow the local store to make right on their mistake.

    I know I should sound more grateful but.... I have an XM…read moreRadio in my car. I often drive with my 'thinks he's a lap dog' 80lb Labrador, Jack. Jack gets a little excited when he gets to go for a car ride... Weeks ago while getting in the car, he brushed up against the XM radio and cracked the base that holds it to the dash. I've been able to get it back on the mount. It's not perfect, but if you didn't know it was broken, you couldn't tell it was broken, unless I told you. At lunch today I ran by this Best Buy to see about finding a replacement bracket to hold it firmly against the dash. I walked into the store, showed the man at the door I was coming in with my XM radio, and he pointed me to the audio department of BestBuys. I walked past 4 blue shirts who were too busy laughing and talking with each other than they were taking care of their customers. I got back to Automotive Audio and waited.... and waited.... and waited... a total of 12 minutes. I didn't see one blue shirt anywhere in the store - certainly none by me. I went out hunting for one - good thing I didn't have my gun, - I'da bagged one! And I found a guy who's 1st language is NOT English... When he finally understood I needed help in Automotive, he got on his two way radio and a minute or two later, here comes a blue shirt! I told her what she needed and she immediately acted like she had no idea where to look. She frantically found another employee - this one a Geek Squad member, who quickly told me he'd be back in a minute or two. Sure enough, 2 minutes later he brought me a replacement bracket and shook my hand as I thanked him for his efforts. I wasn't charged a dime for this part - that fits perfectly and will hopefully not break again, JACK!.... I was disappointed that there were such limited blue shirts inside the store. Especially seeing as its the holiday season and sales are expected to be up?.... hard to do without help. Thanks again for the bracket - I am appreciative.

    The automated phone system is at best a complete waste of time. In a chain store such as Best Buy…read moreto not have a dedicated operator to receive and transfer calls is just ludicrous. I understand that in person customers take precedence but to have over a 10 minute hold time before I chose to hang-up is adding up to lost sales. I would urge store managers to push for additional employees that can run a multiple line set up similar to a dispatchers system. I want to also make a point, this is the type of actions that cost sales, and have customers turning to online purchases. Online sales does effect the ability for brick and mortar businesses to remain open.
