I shopped a couple of places prior to this visit but I didn't see what I was looking for on display! I was becoming discouraged! But, that day, I was fortunate enough to have Jesslyn help me! She was professional, friendly, patient and extremely helpful! We looked at the fans on display but then we sat at a computer to see what was being sold online. I knew specifically what I wanted in both ceiling fans and I had a general idea of what I wanted in an outdoor wall lantern. With Jesslyn's patience and guidance, I ended up ordering my 2 fans and outdoor light! I could not have done it without her! She is a true angel! Thank you Home Depot and Jesslyn for your tremendous help! I will definitely return here in the future!

The whole isle with paint rollers is blocked off, but no employees are in the area. Go to cut some trim and I'm struggling with the board. An employee just walks past. I'm looking for peg board, another employee leaning up against a lumber cart on his phone. Another group of employees just chatting away. If management doesn't care to monitor the conduct of their employees why should I spend my money there? Then checking out, I politely asked the cashier 'How's your day going?' I then heard a prolonged, uncomfortable, discussion about their medical problems. There's an old management saying, 'Don't expect what you don't inspect'. Either they're no good hires out there or this location's management doesn't care.

To not have a backup person and not be able to assist your customers on their schedule is a terrible customer service. I had to buy a dryer. I went to Lowe's to see what they had available. I have purchased several…read moreappliances from Lowe's. Their customer service can't be beat! I found a dryer to purchase, bought it and scheduled delivery. My new dryer was delivered two days later. The delivery men hooked the dryer up, turned it on to make sure it heated up and left. Three days later, Saturday, I put a load of delicates in the dryer and lots of clanging and banging noise came out of the dryer. When I changed the fabric setting to "bulky" the noise wasn't as loud but it was still there. Sunday morning I went to Lowe's with my bill of sale and a video of the dryer making lots of noise. The lady at the Customer Service Desk was telling me since the dryer was new I needed to contact the manufacturer to get it repaired. I told her I wanted to swap the bad dryer for a new one. It made sense to me to swap. The discussion went back and forth about returning the dryer. If I could pick it up and return it to the store, I would have I pressed to call a manager to find out about swapping the bad dryer for a new one. The lady called a manager and he agreed I could swap the bad dryer for a new one. Yay! I scheduled the delivery and the next day another crew from Bessemer swapped out the dryers. This crew were born and raised in the USA. They understood what I was saying. It turns out Lowe's hires a third party contractor to deliver and set up appliances. These two men did a much better job of setting up the dryer. I was glad they came out for my delivery swap out versus the first two guys whose English wasn't good at all. The customer service from the two guys from the third party contractor was top notch. I am glad I purchased from Lowe's. I was treated very well.

Grocery delivery has probably been one of the biggest game changers for me - why go to the store…read morewhen I can have milk in my fridge in 2 hours? All without having to put on shoes. But then, some days, a stroll around the store can be just what you need to brighten your day. Walking around Target, feeling the texture of the pajama pants, comparing lipstick shades - things you just can't do from an iPad on the couch. Of course I ended up with things in my cart that I didn't go in for but I also didn't come home with what I wanted - the skim milk was set to expire the next day and the only available size of the laundry pods that I wanted would last me a year. Target is not much different than a number of stores today - finding help was nearly impossible. I used self checkout which I'm sure got me out a whole lot faster than waiting in the only open check out lane. I'm not about to give up online shopping anytime soon but spending an hour strolling around Target was a nice distraction.

I drove to C T Garvin Seed and Feed in Elkmont, AL today. The store is well stocked and out in the middle of nowhere. I found the items I was looking for and browsed around looking at the things on the shelves. It is always fun to go inside the store and see all the neat things on the shelves. If you are a fan of the Huntsville store, please take a ride up to Elmont to check out the store. You'll be able to find everything that you could find in Huntsville plus. They called to ask us for the charger and then said they couldn't find the part. A three minute google search of the manufacturer's website found the part and took it to them- it wasn't right. The people were polite, but the experience was unbelievably frustrating.
