They are lazy all they want to do is gather in huddles and talk they don't want to help you and when they do help they have an attitude like its not their job to help you. I purchased a vinyl floor rug and they would not supply yhe roll that go in the middle of the rug to keep it from bending and damaging, so I had to spend money on a pipe to go in the center of the rug and they have such arrogance when you ask them for help. Just left Lowe's in Lumberton NC, and if I could give a negative review I most definitely would. We are a married couple Female " American Indian" Male " African American" So you can already see why I'm beyond upset; They have too many racist people employed within this company. We can to get paint and there was a white couple ahead of us, no problem WRONG. The White man who was helping them kept them there talking about any and everything that had nothing to do with paint (strike 1) Then another person walks by White female; didn't acknowledge us at all but ask the White couple if the are okay and if they needed any help (strike 2). Finally after over 20 minutes of waiting to get our paint (Which we Refused to get) the White man tells the White female to get us, and then she has an attitude and ask do ya'll need something (strike 3) We politely said No, but we will be asking to speak to a manager and we go upfront and let customer service know what happened and we'd like to speak to a manager about the way we were treated. Then it gets even wilder, they call for a manager and you won't believe this it's the White male and of course we let him know why didn't want to speak to him and he says I didn't know you all needed help (like we were standing there because we had nothing better to do) and you won't believe this the next manager that comes is you guessed it the White female, by this point we are very Livid, like this is Crazy, of course they both don't see what they did, because they are used to doing it. So of nothing got resolved but this company needs to know what kind of people they have working for them. And we literally just bought a new washer and dryer from them and we'll be seeing if we can get a refund because the must feel as though our money isn't good enough and we also spent a lot of money yesterday for supplies to have our home repainted but I'll be taking it back tomorrow and get a refund and will never shop here ever again. We also have family members who get a lot of their items from Lowe's because they own their on construction company but after today none of our family members or friends will spend their money with a company like this. read more

On Sept. 9 around lunch time, I visited the Lumberton store to purchase 2 Harry Potter Door Mats, for which the website said they had 4 of. They were not located in the Halloween section. When I went to customer service to ask for help, there were 3 ladies standing talking trash about another employee. They saw me standing there but continued to talk. When they finally decided to address me, I ask the young lady to search for what I was looking for. She told me that The Items were on Isle 5, bay 16. They were no where to be found when I went to this location. 2 of the previous ladies that had been grouped up talking before, were standing at the end of the isle still talking about an employee. I interrupted and asked them to help me find this item. We proceeded down the isle and they realize that the item is on top of the highest shelf and told me it could not be gotten down. She said that there was no one there certified to drive the forklift to get it down. I asked what was I suppose to do. They both said they didn't know. I told them I would order it for pickup, to which they both said Well there you go. I placed the order standing in the isle with them. I told them it said it would be ready in 3 hours. I left. As the day went on, no update on the order. On Sept. 10 I called Lowes to check on the order at 9:08am. The young lady said they had been short staffed and she would have it pulled in 15 minutes. About 2 hours later, I got the message that my order was ready. I went to Lowes around 1pm for pickup. When I arrived, the young lady brought me 2 Nightmare before Christmas door mats. I told her they were not what I ordered and showed her my online order with the 2 Harry Potter mats. She told me all the mats had the same Item number, regardless of character and they did not have the harry potter. I said then why does it show 4 harry potter mats and how did you know to pull the nightmare before Christmas ones, if they all have the same item number? She showed me on her phone that hers showed a different mat with then same item number. I asked for the manager. The manager came over and I explained the situation to her. She in turn showed me her phone with a completely different door mat character, again with the same item number. I said so how did you guys know what to pull if they all have the same item number. She told me that they had taken down the box from the very top and that was all that was in it. But if I wanted her to take it down again for me to look through it to pick something else she would. I told her I wanted the box taken back down so that I could see for myself. They proceeded to have someone bring the forklift. In the mean time the girl from pickup came and told me they were canceling my online order because they had found the harry potter mats and they did have a different item number, so I would have to check them out at the register. Mind you the box had not been taken down yet, so how she knew they were in there, I don't know. Because remember, they said they had already taken the box down to get the other mats, and put it backup on the shelf. When the forklift brought the box down, the manager asked me how many I wanted and I told her 2 (I should have gotten them all). She brought me the mats and I checked out and left. These ladies flat out lied to my face and thought I was stupid enough to just take their word for something. I guess when I ask for the box to be brought back down (the one they had already been in), they figured they better fix it somehow. There is something quite fishy about this whole situation and this Lowes in general, because its not the first issues I have had there. I have also been informed that Lowes had to move a manger from the Laurinburg store to get things straightened out in the Lumberton store. I would drive to Fayetteville's Home Depot before I shop at Lowes again. This is a shame and disgrace. Hire better people, please!!!! read more

Please save yourself the headache! Long story short (February of 2023) signed contract for vinyl siding to be placed on my home. Paid in full. All I have received is one excuse after another and a delivery driver (delivered materials on June 24,2023) conducted threatening acts towards me because I kindly asked him not to drive on my grass ( it had just rained 4 days straight) . And yes you read that correct. February signed contract 4 months later I have materials sitting in my driveway but not on my house. Absolutely the worst experience ever!!!! Not to mention no one knows what is going on. They have lied on their third party contractors, and have lied to me several times !!! read more

I bought a refrigerator on the 21st November, it was supposed to be delivered on the 3rd December. I called at 6 am to verify that it was being delivered, was told it was. I then called back at 3 pm to check and was told they had till 8 pm. At 7 pm I called the store and asked to talk to a manager. I got an asst manager by the name of Hannah, she told me the refrigerator was still at the warehouse and wouldn't be in the store till Tuesday. And that she would make sure it got priority delivery when it got in. After not hearing anything back from her I went to the store and asked for Hannah. I asked her why I hadn't been called and she told me that it was scheduled for the 15th to be delivered. Asked why no one informed me, she was then told I wanted it before then, she called the shipping manager to get it to me sooner, I was then told that they would deliver it Saturday and I told that I wouldn't be home till after 3pm. She then told shipping that and typed something into the computer. Well here I am at 7 pm and having to call once more to speak to a manager. I talked to Matthew and he said it was put on the truck for first delivery, I asked him where it was since no one called to let me know they were coming and that I would get the call two hour's before they came. He stated there were two numbers listed, I told him my cell phone was with me and no message had been left on my home phone. He then called the driver who was off, talked to him and then called the worthless Hannah and she confirmed what I said. I told them to keep the refrigerator and that I would never shop in that store ever again. Comes Monday I will go get my money refunded and talk to the store manager, won't do any good because this is Robeson county. read more

I am absolutely disappointed in Lowes! I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator! I purchased a five year warranty with it ! I've had it for 4 year now and I've had my ice maker replaced 4 times! Now it's pouring water call hoping to get a replacement and they won't replace my refrigerator, said they had to send a repair man out for the 5th time but, the thing is they're not fixing the problem obviously, because this will be the 5th time! I want to recognize Ms. Kristen Pittman. I found a washer online that wasn't available in the Lumberton Store. She was more than eager to locate it and arrange shipment for me. I paid for the item with her by phone and she mailed the receipt to me along with a Thank You note thanking me for being patient and hope I'd enjoy the washer.
