Much of what is here is of the pork persuasion, but beef and chicken are also represented -there is even a cow at the top of their roadside sign. But the pork products rule, in variety and level of interest. There are whole Country Hams hanging from racks in the middle of the shop, and slices of ham packaged in the refrigated, display area. They have Bacon - regular sliced and slab; Sausage - fresh country breakfast sausage, smoked sausage, old timey air dried sausage - regular or hot. Also packaged slabs of Liver Pudding, Souse Meat, Side Meat, Smoked Neck Bones and Ham Hocks, and even fresh Cracklings for your cornbread. The Deets: We had a chance to stop into Robinson's Hardware that's along the main road/causeway right before hitting the bridge to get to Holden Beach. We noticed that they have a Yeti sign and one of our group was wondering about some Yeti products, so we stopped in there while also on the hunt for some fishing supplies. This hardware store is pretty sizable while very bright and clean inside. We did find a lot of Yeti brand products here hoping we could find a deal but they offer them at the same or similar price than if you ordered online. But a great selection! We did look through their fishing equipment and although not finding exactly what we wanted in Yeti or fishing gear either one, this place was pretty impressive with inventory and plenty of selection of their hardware related items. We did not have direct interaction with any of the staff/owners on this trip. All in all, this place is a pretty nice/impressive hardware store convenient to Holden Beach and glad we stopped in.
