I used to shop at the Legion Road location and then I followed them to the Hope Mills Road location. Even though the store was much smaller, the people that worked there were very helpful. I've been back a couple of times this month and something has changed. It appears to be cluttered and messy. read more

I love these stores! The pricing and selection are great, staff friendly, good service. Lots of potential finds in good condition. Lots of women's clothing and shoes. Thrifting is one of our hobbies and this is a must stop spot. Also, five locations! I came in last week to kill some time & was pleasantly surprised by this thrift shop! The interior is clean, well organized & well lit, the selection of book & vinyl records is pretty awesome, and the staff members are friendly. In the short time I was there, I found some great records, novels and children's books! Everything we saw was in great condition -- I noticed that the staff here also pre-tests electronics & notes condition on the exterior of the packaging. I came in late in the day, so I wasn't able to look around for long, but I'll definitely be visiting again! read more

I shop and donate here often, and I typically love it, but I feel I have put up with the employees attitudes enough at this location. Today was really awful because the employee (Robn was the name on the receipt) embarrassed me when I attempted to use my discount card. There was a sale going on, but I have always been able to use my discount card on top of it. That is not the point though. I was totally okay with that happening, but I did inquire when that had changed. She then told me that her boss told her that was double dipping and that we can't do that. Cool. I let it go. She then goes on to reiterate that and then says "no money would be going to help the orphans if we did that ya know?" is such a condescending voice. I was so humiliated. There was a customer behind me and another employee by us. The benefit of shopping here is two-fold for me: I get to buy my low-income family affordable, nice clothing while on a budget and also help the orphans. I will think twice before I visit this location again. read more

This is the greediest so called Orphan donation store. Thrift store or boutique? They don't know the difference bc they search market EBay prices and mark up FREE GIVEN TO THEM ITEMS to make the experience terrible! THEY TAKE THE THRIFT OUT OF THE THRIFTY EXPERIENCE! Rude staff that screams at you to check out & they count down minutes left to shop like you are in grade school! I would love to see how much of their profits go to Orphan! Hands down the BEST thrift store in Fayetteville. This is the only thrift store in the area with a surplus of high quality & vintage items. I scored an 80's prom dress, a Ralph Lauren denim midi dress, and a few early 2000's dresses and skirts. Not only do they have clothing for men, women, and children, they also have home decor and a ton of knick knacks and crafting supplies. When I went, they had a decent collection of sewing patterns! The woman working was very kind and friendly, and she even gave me a discount on one of my items. I went last week, and Im planning on going again soon. read more

I am a costume, I come to this store to find Items at sunset ave Clinton NC. Stephanie was very rude to me and my family and I had baught some linens from the store and come to find out the linens had bed bugs. I went back to the store and to them that they had bed bugs in there linens. they said sorry about that but did not investigate if there was anymore bed bugs in the store. And they were still selling linens and clothes where the linens was hangin. I will not be going to that store again. read more

The place was clean and the prices were excellent. The employee left a lot to be desired though. I didn't get a hello or good-bye.

I chose 1 star because it would not let me choose zero. This store has new management ( verified today). Prices have gone up. Heard others in the store today also comment. More merchandise with stains, holes, etc. than at other thrift stores. They always seem to be doing something to annoy customers whether its playing music VERY loudly, literally preaching at those that came to shop, or today-mopping the floors with offensive smelling product and making the shopping area wet and slippery. The cherry on top was when we told the new manager these offensive tactics and the new pricing issue, she said ,"We can't give it all away." We were not expecting that anyway, but $20.00 for a sports jersey with some imperfections, is not a thrift store price. Plus the price signage says one thing, or as marked, but if you are going to mark most things a higher price then what is the point of the sign? Then she proceeded that she too would get out the microphone and preach if she felt the urge. When we stated that people go to shop and it is not a church and not everyone shares the same belief, she said, "If you do not believe in Christianity then you don't have to shop here." The reason we shop there is because we believe in helping the orphans, but if doing so at this location means I have to endure being told that I am bad or doing something wrong then OK. Not ok that I will conform, but ok, I won't be back! read more
