I had to buy 2 Ego multi head system. This was in order to get a free tool. The manager called me today after I tried to explain that refunding me $200 for a machine e did not equal a buy one get one free. I'll explain with easy math, the machine cost $300 approximately now I did that twice so $600. They refunded me approximately $200, and trying to explain to me that the $400 I spent is really only $300. I will be back in tomorrow to return everything and see how the manager can do basic math. Maybe a 1st grade math test is in order. Next day update! Turns out Tonya can't do basic math I will list it out to see if it makes sense. I spent on the same of ego tool but the two were a buy one get one 284 93 190 Total of 567 I was refunded 190 Meaning I spent 377 for "buy one get one" where I bought 2 and was charged for 2. If the 93 was refunded like I tried to explain it would have given me a buy one get one. I was just at Lowes and worked with Shirley in blinds. The best customer service I have had in a while. Knowledgable, helpful, and someone with knowledge to help make an expensive decision easier and less scary. This is refreshing these days. So many customer service people do not have enough experience to be truly helpful. Apprenticeship seems to be a thing of the past in business which is costing consumers more money than they realize and giving them substandard service. I will be back to purchase more blinds if Shirley helps me. Ive visited the same store in the blinds department at other times with poor service and support. Lowes, it's a big home supply warehouse store and it's hard to talk about it without a comparison to it's neighbor across the intersection-home depot. I mean let's be real. both are large warehouse like places full of tools and supplies and I will say for years I've been going to home Depot but this is changing. The big difference is the people there. You can actually find people working there who want to help you! It's a standing joke how hard it is to find people in home depot but Lowes, I had no problem looking for something and even getting passed off from one person to another. Yes it takes away the sense of an epic quest you get roaming the deserted isles of home depot but you find what you need a lot faster. They also have paid cashiers to check you out. Home Depot, except for the garden center, expects you to self check out, you know a service that most places pay employees to provide Home Depot expects you to do, without them paying you. Lowes does have self check out but it also has people to check you out. OMG. customer service? really? The only down side I have with Lowes and this is what stops it from being a 5 star review is that I find the environment a big claustrophobic and overly warm. The English term is 'close.' but I can put up with a little stuffy air if the customer service can get me through quickly. read more

Very poor customer service, was waiting for at least 10 minutes at the paint stand, no greeting and said he would get to us. Finally asked if he could help us and said he's "only one person and they would get to us." When talking to him he didn't seem very interested or engaged, complained to manager about Frank for his bad attitude. We returned our purchased items and will be taking our business to Home Depot. Looking for a new kitchen? Considering Lowe's cabinets and countertops? You can get quality cabinets and countertops at Lowe's for a fair price. I purchased solid wood Shaker cabinets with all the bells and whistles like dovetail doors and full-side cabinet molding. They will look great when finished. The problem is installation. Lowe's has a joint venture with Nationwide Kitchen Installers. Nationwide has ruined the entire kitchen remodel experience. On the morning of installation, Nationwide called Lowe's and demanded I pay an additional $395 for the materials needed to resolve a known problem. Two hours later Nationwide called Lowe's and demanded another $385. When Lowe's called me for the money, I said "no" and I went to Lowe's in Landsdale, PA where the manager Herb refunded the $395 I paid earlier. The cabinets have been in my garage since August 8th. Nationwide said they would install them on September 6th. I told Margaret at Nationwide that we had plans for Labor Day and Nationwide said the installer would come on September 9th. Milton has been here three times to install the cabinets. Nationwide only schedules him for three or four hours at a time. When he leaves he cannot tell me when he is returning. I installed all but one of the drawer pulls, most of the shelves are not installed, the toe kicks are not installed, the decorator doors on the end of the cabinets are not installed, the fan over the stove is still disconnected, and the decorative molding for the cabinets remains uninstalled. The countertops from Acropolis Granite and Quartz were scheduled to be installed on October 5th. My brother-in-law will finish the plumbing on October 17th! In the event Nationwide Kitchen Installers has not completed the job by then, I will be hiring another installer to complete this project. read more

I purchased the cabinets from hell. I ordered 3-day cabinets, and it has been 3 weeks and I do not have all my cabinets. First, they delivered my cabinets the day before they were to arrive and left them on my lawn. Then I later find out that 4 cabinets were missing on back order. This should have been told to me when I ordered, and I would have chosen another cabinet type. They 4 of the cabinets I received we the wrong size. It took them over a week to pick them up. They gave me 5 separate dates for the remaining cabinets to arrive and still I do not have the other 4 cabinets. I have been to the store multiple times. Everytime, I speak with someone I get the run around or am told something different. Yes, they gave me a 500$ credit and a utility for my kitchen in the meantime. However, I still do not have my cabinets so my contractor who I am paying to do nothing to finish my kitchen. DO NOT BUY CABINETS FROM LOWES! they are the worst. read more

We had issues with the online customer service, but Alicia went above and beyond to rectify the situation. She followed up with calls and emails to make sure we were happy with our grill. I'm almost finished with a kitchen renovation with Lowe's and their independent contractors. Once the order was placed there is absolutely no communication between the departments involved in my renovation and installation. No body answers the phone in appliances or kitchen cabinetry. The flooring department answers the phone and tries to help. The actual sales people never return your call. I usually have to go to the store to find them. I answered numerous surveys and emailed their customer service. No one cares. My kitchen will look beautiful. The price is a long ride of poor customer service. read more

If I could give this location zero stars, I would. They managed to screw up a My Lowe's card. Didn't properly put in a veteran status, didn't give us a card, told my husband it would come IN THE MAIL. Not a credit card, a My Lowe's card. Now we have two accounts, and we have to jump through three hoops just to get the discount AND register our paint colors. Spoiler alert: they didn't save our paint colors either. We recently purchased 400sqft of Matrix (Shaw Floors) with Advance Flex Technology Cascade Walnut 5.90-in x 48.03-in Waterproof Interlocking Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring (23.63-sq ft). Boxes state easy DIY click install over existing hard surface floors with no subfloor prep, acclimation or adhesives. They claim it's more rigid then LVT which again is a load of BS. I've done a lot of floors and so has my contractor who did these floors and also said these floors and the quality is 100% lousy. This was definitely not as advertised and Lowe's needs to take it all back regardless of it's installed. I will remove the entire floor and bring it back for a refund towards a better floor. Not too mentioned we have over 20 pieces that are completed not usable which they will be going back. the quality of this brand/floor is 100% milled like junk. So I called the store on Tuesday around dinner time and spoke to someone (no names will be posted) explained the situation and was told they needed to speak to someone and would get back to me. Since he claimed there were options with the ones that were defective and the installed floor. Well 24 hours went by and no one did. So I had to call back after getting the run around from the manufacturer multiple times. Lowe's told me I had to call their installation claim department to file a claim regardless who installed it. I called them they told me to call Shaw and Shaw said no you have to call the retailer, as they need to file it on your behalf. The person I talked to (no name posted) was helpful in submitting a claim. After reviewing Shaw on BBB I am very concerned of all the negative reviews which are over 87 reviews and half of them are complaints as soon as March. All of the reviews are about their products and how they handled consumers. They have so many negative reviews of their products I don't know why a store would sell and or advertise them. Lowes sells this horrible milled product we would like a full refund and I will be more then happy to take up all the planks return them where I got them for a refund on another type of flooring not made by Shaw. read more

I have found the employees and managers to be the BEST in the business. After only 4 months, I had a gas leak in my Samsung stove. Although Samsung let me down, the employees in the Appliance Department never did. On every call to the store they were professional, and went the extra yard to ensure I had my problem addressed. Wiith their help, Samsung finally agreed to give me a new stove. The fact that I will be without this important appliance doesn't even matter because Lowes employees provided extraordinary customer service. I have a Lowes much closer to where I live, but today i stopped in this one on the way back from Warrington to look for a new ceiling fan. While we did not find what we were looking for (it was out of stock the one we saw online) this does seem like a decent enough Lowes with many products and services, and it has plenty or parking and with the light, getting onto Cowpath Road is easy (you can bypass 5 points and go onto Bethlehem Pike but it is right only). This aside, the employees did seem a bit distant and didn't interact much at all when we did run into them. I would still stop by again, if the occasion should arise. read more

This Lowe's will scam you. I am using this Lowe's to get a fence installed, and it has been the worst experience. They require that you pay in full at the beginning, which was 3 months ago now, and in that time, nothing has been done and I have not been called by Lowes once with an update. After repeatedly calling them, I find out the the building permit was maybe submitted, and that's what were (maybe) waiting on. Why did it take 2 months to submit a permit application when I supplied the drawings? Why is a response from the city taking a month when I was told it would take max 2 weeks? We rescheduled for June 14th and once again with me texting Andrew saying they are not here.The window was from 830am to 1130 am they did not show. Get a call from J Door and they apologize saying they are over booked. Also mentioned did i order 2 almonds doors and 1 white door. He is going to reach out to Wayne Dalton to see if he can get me the other 2 white doors and install the 1 white door on July 1ST. I call bull shit and just sum it up to Lowes & J Door do not care at all about my business or home! Very disappointed in this entire experience. I hope some one from corporate reads this!!!!!!!!!!! I rarely shop here. I've already had too many bad experiences with bad or non-existent customer service. Once, it was so bad that I headed to customer service to complain. Three associates were at that station, completely ignoring me. They were too busy talking to one another to take a moment to help me. I ended up leaving in disgust. The only reason why I gave them a 2nd star (wish it was only half a star) was because of some of their products. There are certain things that I just have to buy from Lowe's because I can't find them anywhere else. This review is mainly based upon the home improvement services they contract out, but I have to say the customer service isn't far behind. It's not that the customer service is rude, it's just not knowledgeable enough. They are good at pointing to where things are but not so much on advice or the product. I've also found that most of the employees are part-timers who are basically there to get a paycheck. Just this week, we had used them for carpeting. My girl has a small two-bedroom condo and we needed carpets in the bedrooms, hallway and living room. The people they contract these jobs out to are terrible! They gave us a two hour window. They showed up over an hour late past that window. So they didn't even start the job until after 5pm!!! Then, they show up with no carpets, just the padding. So they had to waste another hour going back to the store to pick up the carpet. Then the guy thought it would be funny to come back and play a joke on us telling us they were out of the carpet. I was in no mood for jokes when it was now almost 7pm and no carpets installed yet (They were supposed to be there by 4pm that day). They didn't finish the job until 930pm!!! The condo is on the 2nd floor so it was no surprise when the tenants below came up to complain. The contractor's vacuum broke, so they needed to use ours which didn't help the cause. Oh, and we also had a refrigerator delivered that day and they were also over 90 minutes late. It was a day of wasting away waiting for these guys to show up. I will NEVER use this Lowe's for home improvement services again and I do not recommend you take the risk. read more

Stay away! Dishonest workers. My wife "lost" her cell phone there, we combed the two aisles she was in for over an hour. Customer service was friendly, but really of no help. I asked to look at videos they refused and said only if police requested them. I told them to call the police and they refused saying I would have to do so. I called the police and waited. In the meantime, a worker found the phone ringing in a trash can at the other end of the store in an area that we had never been to. Now how did that happen? My beit is one of the workers watched my wife drop the phone and thought they had just scored $500 but got nervous when they heard I had called police, fearful they'd get snagged in a video. I should have learned my lesson the first time I ordered windows from this Lowes about 10 yrs ago. The installation was poorly done and it took major complaints to Corp office and threats of lawsuit to resolve. However, when we needed a new door 2 years ago, we wound up there and had a good experience. This time it was back to the past. We ordered a replacement window and shutters in early to mid Oct. We were told they needed to be ordered, despite being standard items. Delivery was supposed to be before 10/31. I had to constantly call to get updates. We asked for installation week of 11/2 & got no follow up. I was told the window delivery would push back to 11/19. I got a call that the window finally came in and requested installation. It's now 3 weeks later and we havent heard from anyone. This is the last time we will use them for jobs like this. read more

Three times in a row waiting 25+ minutes to get help, employees walking away while paint is mixing and not returning for ten minutes as well as significant apathy when I ask questions. Overall, most employees there are unhelpful in multiple departments, that us, if you can track one down in the first place. We ordered a new stove to be delivered and installed last week. Pretty simple task, right ? Delivery guys arrived and couldn't adjust the gas shutoff valve, so they advised we contact Peco to send out a professional and left our new stove in our dining room. I next contacted Peco customer service, and was advised they never touch has valves within a house (unless there is a leak). Step 3 - contact our local plumber / handyman to assist with install of stove in house. Take old stove out to driveway for pickup. Pay $75 to handyman for install assistance. Step 4 - travel to Lowes on lunch break to request $20 install fee back and schedule pickuip of old stove in driveway. Appliance associate schedules it for Sunday (which I thought was strange but whatever) Step 5 - Today is Sunday, no pickup or call. Contact store, no one answers at store. Plan to call store tomorrow and reschedule pickup of old unit. So disappointed with thus experience. If there were negative stars for installation and customer service. I would give it. read more

If you are looking for customer service, keep driving. I went there today to pick up a few items during my lunch break. Some of the items were heavy and I waited in line at the only register that was open (there was not an option for self check-out). The woman in front of me had been rung out and they were waiting for assistance to help her bring her item to her car - fine, MOVE OVER! No, instead she stayed parked there as the cashier looked at me without so much as saying "I'll be right with you". Next, a male customer comes up from behind me and is ushered immediately to a new register! I was next in line! On top of this, he was returning something. This guy looked at me, saw I was holding heavy items and instead of letting me go first, continued on with his business. His cashier never gave me the time of day. I am so fed up with poor customer service, I will not tolerate it. I left my items on the floor and walked out. No one came to my assistance! I thought the Lowes at Oaks, PA, was the prize winner for being unable to locate special order items. I'm done dealing with them. So I placed a special order for flooring that only Lowes carries, at the Lansdale store. I received two automated voice messages telling me the flooring was ready for pick up. The customer service (ha ha) agent in the store at first couldn't locate the order, then told me they didn't have it because it was too soon since I placed my order. As we were speaking, an email from Lowes came on my phone telling me the order was ready. The THIRD notification! She didn't believe me and asked to read the message. I demanded to see a manager. She called but no-one came. I demanded again. I asked her if the manager was afraid to show his face. She called him again and told him I'd said he was afraid to show his face. He showed up, was polite, and told me he would call me when the order arrived. By then I had waited one hour. So I said I would expect them to deliver it. He agreed. As I left their parking area he called me to say they had found the floor and he would wait with it at customer service, and would load it. When I returned, the agent had to call him twice to bring the flooring. That took another 15 minutes. I've had terrible experiences at Oaks, poor customer service experiences at Hatfield, King of Prussia, and now Lansdale. In all those stores, employees are surly and, it seems, not encouraged by their managers to welcome their customers' business. So I've come to the conclusion that this group of stores is probably in one region, with very poor management at the helm. For an example of extraordinary customer service, friendly, extremely helpful, and generally happy employees, go to the Home Depot in Norristown. read more

Delivery company calls that night says they want to deliver next day (despite me picking a date two weeks out). So I say that I want it in two weeks. That day comes and nothing. Delivery company dumps my call to the store. Woman says she can't call GE about my appliances till Monday. And that delivery company called and left me a message (I had no message). She actually told me twice they'd left me a message despite me saying I didn't receive one. Call store at noon on Monday, guy there says he'll call me back. 3.5 hours later I call back, new guy claims it wasn't him I talked to before. I recommend you do not use this Lowe's. They are completely unreliable, in my opinion. Last fall we went to their windows department to get an estimate for two windows to be replaced in out Den. We were redoing it and decided it was the perfect time to get them done before we put up the new drywall. They said it was going to be two weeks from the time we signed the contract. It was over 8 weeks, delaying the entire project. We didn't get the room done until after Christmas due to them. I should have learned my lesson from the windows, as the salesman was not truthful at all! Instead, I stupidly decided to get an estimate on a fence from them. We got over 6 estimates and Lowe's won the bid. They told us that it would be installed two weeks from the time we got the permit. We got the permit and then they told us it would be 4 weeks from that date. The company they contracted with was not timely even after delays and more lies, they could not complete the project on time. Don't listen to the lies that this organization tells about timelines. One more point to note, this organization like to say how they give military discount. They refused to give me that discount on the windows and on the fence, even though Lowe's states they give a Military discount. I would not trust them. UPDATE: We wrote to Lowe's Corporate Headquarters. They reviewed the case and gave us out Military discount for the fence. read more

7 WEEKS AND I STILL DON'T HAVE MY ORDER!! Lowe's is the absolute worst when it comes to online orders! Anytime I've gone to pick up an online order it has never been ready. Ever! So I've waited at the customer service desk while an employee shops for me. So much for convenience and saving time. UGH! Well the final straw dropped today. I ordered a ladder November 30 that was supposed to be ready for pick up by December 28. I did not receive an email or call as of the first week in January. I called Montgomeryville. They were going to check into it and call me back. No call back. I call again to find out the order had to be "reordered" and they had no idea what happened. That was 2 weeks ago. Still no email or call about shipment. So I call again. It's somewhere out there but once again they tell me they have no idea when it will arrive in their store. I cancelled the order. Found out I can get that same ladder from Home Depot by next week. Won't be going back to Lowe's. read more

I had two occasions in last two weeks where I had complications in delivery, and billing. That I can understand.. anyone can make mistakes.
