I never received anymore emails from them I was told after 2 months they would send a letter but never did that I actually owed $2.40 then they finally emailed me with delinquent notice & that I owed $15.54 cents because of Lowe's my credit score went down 118 points!!!!!!! I'll start with the good- 5 stars for Kimberly! She showed me the proper kit I needed for the countertop and picked out the actual pieces I needed. It was a pleasant experience. I took off a star bec of Omar. During check out, my mom was the one who asked for help loading the ten foot countertop into the truck. He replied "well who got it onto the cart?" The two employees that helped us get them down the back, said we would need help getting it up in the truck. He's lucky I was putting my son in the truck when he said more slick comments and my mom didn't tell me exactly what was said. Who raised him to treat a women old enough to be his mother like that? Horrible customer service. The lady I was talking with was extremely condescending and downright rude. She was coming up with every reason why the problem was note theirs but mine. If you promise to have something delivered on a certain date, then deliver the damn product on that date. People take off work so they can receive items that they don't want stolen (especially high-cost items). All I wanted to do was cancel a shipment that I was not going to be home for since LOWES changed the delivery date, but she wasn't having it. I've never experienced such a rude person. I think it's ridiculous that this store has a one star rating. I live right around the corner and am here often. Staff are always asking if they can help, the store is very organized, and they have the decent selection you would expect from Lowe's. I have been here during hurricanes, holidays, and off-hours and have never had an issue purchasing the things I need in a timely manner. The reality is that most people are not going to write a positive review for a hardware store, despite the good/satisfactory experiences they have there. I recently purchased pain here and the person waiting on me was very helpful with types of paint for what reasons and suggested ways to lighten certain colors I liked on my walls but wished they were lighter. Let me start off my saying that we live in Tampa but we where in Lakeland to get tile because we had bought out all of the tile at the Tampa location. This was the first time coming to this lowes, I have never had any problem with the Tampa Lowes but this Lowes was the total opposite. We went to get tile that we had previously picked out and we where unimpressed. No one asked if they could help us as we stood in the tile section for over 10 minutes. We looked around for employees but we could not find any. We started to load the tile ourselves and 90% of it was cracked, broken, and the sections where so disorganized that we had to dig through other tiles to find what we need. I went to reach for more tile and a broken piece sliced my wrist. When we went to checkout the lady said I needed to "register" my military ID before she could honor it. I was blown away, any other lowes I have gone too never questioned me and has always honored me with a 10% discount. I can't get over the fact that I cut myself, but the disorganization was so unlike any other lowes I went to. I will go to Home Depot in Lakeland if I have to come back over here. read more

Wow the management in this store is awful. First let me start by saying we bought a pretty expensive dishwasher and decided to pay for installation. We waited over 3 weeks for installation. When it was finally our turn they called us and told us they had sold our already paid for dishwasher to another customer and they wouldn't have a replacement for 4 more weeks. Well I was very upset. So the day finally arrived we got our dishwasher installed and the installers used the wrong bracket for granite countertops. He even told me he didnt have the right part. He then told me he would return with the right part in a week. Well he never came back and completely ghosted us. We have called the store at least once a week for 6 months now and every time we speak to a manager they say they are aware of the problem and will get back to us. Just to ghost us again. So now we have had a dishwasher that doesn't close in our counter for 6 months. I'm calling corporate and Lowes has lost me as a customer for life. read more

The first delivery came with a well worn out weather exposed tractor that had no key. And when we got the key it didn't work. After spending over 3 hours on the phone I was offered another tractor that was left outside a store. Finally after several more hours a new tractor was located an the delivery service was to arrive the following Saturday to make the exchange. But then on Thursday I got a call that they were picking up the broken tractor in 30 minutes, several more hours of work missed. Then the new tractor arrived with a dead battery. And here we go again it will be hours of phone calls and missed work to get this rectified. Please look elsewhere you don't want to waste your money or time in this store read more

I will drive to Tampa before I will ever go to this store. The staff was so rude. We were waiting for my husband with the truck and me and my 15 year old daughter loaded sheets of plywood on to a flat cart. they had the displays blocking the area and she accidentally knocked it over trying to get the wood. 6 employees came and helped the rude older lady who had already yelled at us for getting a cart from the end of the closed aisle except they had all 3 aisle with the carts closed but no working on them. They never offered to helped my daughter and refused to take us at lumber area making us walk all the way down with all the plywood the aisle have so much in them you can hardly get by with a regular cart. Customers were helping us and telling us how disquested they are with the way they treated us. I don't like home depot at all I will go there before I ever step foot in this lowes again! read more

If you compare my 2012 review to this one you'll see I've had a poor five year experience with Lowes. I bought a fridge from Lowes to be delivered on a Tuesday (about 2 weeks later). Lowes called the day before to say it was delayed until Friday. But their 3rd party delivery service (XPO) still called to say it was being delivered at 8 am the next morning. I informed THEM it was not at the store. The night before the Friday delivery, the delivery people said it would be delivered between 6:30 and 8:30 Friday night. They clarified that they don't know if it's at the store until they get there. Lowes had not called me, so Friday I decided to call Lowes and learned it had again not been distributed to the store and would now be Monday. A pity they left me and the delivery service out of the loop. Sunday I called the store at 4:30 pm and learned my refrigerator was in the store for Monday delivery. So Sunday night I waited the 6 to 9 pm window for the delivery service to call me with a delivery time. They did not. At 8:55 pm, I called them and was on hold 45 minutes (9:45 pm to do business???) They said the refrigerator was not on their list for delivery. On Monday morning at 7 a.m. I was face-to-face with Manager Jasmine trying to learn the issues. She passed the buck back to the Delivery Service saying it was on their manifest for delivery today, she did not know the 2 hour delivery window and couldn't help me. Guess that means I can sit the next 12 hours waiting? She didn't lift a finger to try to call XPO or straighten out the issue. I called XPO to see if they could provide a heads-up since they told me it was not on their delivery list. After a lengthy wait, they said it was an "add-on" and therefore no window just "sometime today". They said I'd get a 45 minute heads up to empty the broken fridge instead of the usual 30 minutes. However, I got a 15 minute call they were on their way and they showed up in 5 minutes. The delivery guys were very polite tho' one did not know ANY English. The new fridge arrived with the door opening on the wrong side despite specs and my checking throughout the process.. The delivery people took 45 minutes to change the door. Buyer beware. You might find a deal but service is horrible. read more

I have Been a loyal customer of Lowe's for years, and love the service they give for veterans. However, I took on the project of repainting my home and to make a long story short, the employee created a color non-existent to Sherwin Williams and apparently impossible to match. I have NEVER had the service given to me by Janelle, an assistant manager! She yelled at us, and refused to honor the deal made to us the prior night by the other store manager. It was a joke. I called corporate to report the bad service and lack of resolution and was assured the store manager would contact me. Still waiting. After years and thousands of dollar spent at Lowes, we have made our last purchase. My 14 month old Maytag washer sounds like an airplane. We had purchased an extended warranty and started what has become a nightmare process. The company that theysent for repairs we have now determined is not recommended by the Better Business Bureau. They have ratings that are less than one and people actually say Don't let them in your home. We have spent hours for two days trying to reach Lowes Extended Warranty line for help. The appliance company finally came and said they did not have a tool to fix my washer and would contact us to reschedule. Nothing has occurred and they neither answer calls or return calls.Late last night I spoke to Lowes and they said "sorry" you have to deal with this company. So disappointed but I will now join this list of dissatisfied customers and encourage buyers to beware. Lesson learned is also that Lowes does not back their warranty and also uses companies that are negligent and have very low ratings. We have reached out to our local Lowes and they are not able to help us. They just gave us their Extended Warranty Number and two days later we reached them. I went in for some lighting because the online order took over 4 hours to fill. (Customer service were both standing and chatting - Store was dead) I tried calling. If you call the pick up number they disconnect you. If you call the store it just rings!!! No one picks up. How is that possible. Anyway - to the aisle and there was only one on the shelf but online notes there were 45 in stock. I asked the gentleman stocking the lighting area for assistance (clearly wasn't going to offer) he takes his phone and scans the item and says yeah it says there are 45. I said where - this was his reply - hmmm. Clearly he didn't want to go in the above stock and get these. This store has defiantly gone down hill! If I wanted this service I would have gone to Home Depot! CORPORATE - PLEASE train and help these associates on your online orders! We are under a hurricane threat in Florida, we went to Lowe's to get supplies. It was crowed and they had their paint sale going on, and had it the middle of the isle. I said to my husband and walking by it tying to get around a employee with pink hair that had a cart by the paint " why would they have all this paint here when we have a hurricane coming" the employee as I had already passed her , yelled " we have a paint sale going on" we were livid and put down our stuff and went to Home Depot. Don't buy Kobalt tools. They say they have a lifetime guarantee on their told. They don't really. I've had a rachet and racheting wrench that I have had for 3 or 4 years and no longer worked. When I tried to return them and get new ones and they required a receipt. That's not how they sell them. Break it and we will replace it. Like the Craftsman tool warranty. I left both of them there. I will go back to my Craftsman tools. Don't expect to take anything back without paperwork!!! read more

My wife and I purchased a washer, dryer and a refrigerator for our new home in Bartow, Florida. The purchase was made this past Memorial Day. The delivery date was arranged for Saturday, June 13, 2020. We were advised by store staff that we would be called the previous day. When I had not heard from anyone, my wife called the store. The staff on duty was useless and could not provide any details based on the fact that the delivery service is a separate entity. Since we had previously ordered and received items from this store, I had the phone number of the delivery service and reached out to them, only to discover that someone at the store had gone in and changed the delivery date to JULY 14 without my authorization or notice. Our intent is to never conduct business at this establishment ever again. My intent is to reach out to State and Federal agencies on Monday. In the meantime, avoid this store at any cost. Home Depot and Best Buy are great alternatives. read more

Not only are the employees that I have dealt with at this location incompetent, they are also insufferable to boot. I bought a grill during the 4th of July sale, I am military, I expect some complication when combining a sale with an additional discount, but I was overcharged at the register, then went through the ringer at the customer service desk for over 30 minutes while they tried to figure out what the hell went wrong. Eventually they got it figured out and refunded me a portion of my purchase that should have been discounted in the first place. My second experience is what made my mind up to never return here; I got an email saying registered military veterans would get a free 15 lb bag of charcoal, so I stopped by to pick it up. I took it to the self-check out lanes, where an Indian employee was working. I scanned the bag, attempted to scan the coupon from my phone, to no avail. The employee working there attempted to help me for about one minute, before ditching me without explanation or even an "excuse me" to help another customer of similar descent. Even after this other customer had checked out and left, he did not return to continue helping me, he walked off. I stood there for a few minutes, until 2 other employees finally asked if I was being helped. I told them what was going on, they brought me to a register at the front of the self checkouts; when the woman (late 40s maybe, Caucasian, hair in a pony tail, shorter) rang me up and asked for my coupon, I showed her the email, which said the free bag of charcoal was for registered veterans. I am fine with not being thanked for my service, but this woman gave the most sarcastic and disingenuous "Wow...good for you..." I will NEVER return to this Lowe's, no matter what the discount of free item offered to veterans. The employees are not only incompetent, but rude on numerous levels. I sincerely hope this reaches someone on a management level. read more

This store has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We waited for 45 minutes for help on ordering flooring, even after asking an associate three times to send someone over. Each time we were told they would be right over. There has been three separate occasions that we have waited more than 20 minutes for help in a department. I even had to wait 25 minutes to get a canna paint shaken. There seems to be plenty of employees walking around, but no one seems to be able to help you because it's not their department. After this happened three separate times, we have since switched to Home Depot and I couldn't be happier! read more

I ordered a exterior door from this store on 11/23/18, the door was to be produced and delivered within 30 days. The door was not completed until mid January 2019, at which time the install appointment was setup for Mid February 2019. The door was delivered to my house a week before the scheduled install, but all the molding was the wrong color. The install was canceled, and materials were ordered to correct the color issue. In the first week of March 2019, I was contacted by the store manager and informed they ordered the incorrect colors again. On March 27 I received the correct materials, and the install took place on March 28. The quality of the install was poor at best. Stucco was chipped and broken, which they repaired with silicone but did not paint when done. No putty was used to cover the pin nail that hold on the molding. They used blue screws to hold down the black colored threshold, which they painted with black magic marker. All the screw holes holding the jam in place were left open, and exposed to elements. The hole plug and touch up paint were not included with the door. I had to contact Lowes to special order them, so I could finish the install myself. I finally received the material on 06/01/19, but the color was wrong and the plugs were incorrect. I gave up dealing with Lowes, and purchased the hold plug and stain from Amazon. My house was built faster than it took lowes to install a door. What a nightmare... read more

My husband and I decided to install wood flooring in our living room. We spoke with a representative in flooring. Lowes representative told us to expect a call and someone would come out and measure the next day. I waited 4 days before I contacted Lowes to see when we could expect someone to come out and measure. My phone call to Lowes initiated them to contact the contractor who was out the same day. Lowes did not turn the paperwork into the contractor. After the contractor measured we paid for material, delivery, removal of old flooring etc. At the time we were told it would be about 3 days before we could expect delivery since they didn't have the Quarter Round nor T-Molding we desired. I didn't hear from Lowes for a week so I called to get an update. My order had been in the store for a couple of days. A delivery was scheduled between 8:00-10:00 the following day. At 11:30 I called Lowes to get an update. Lowes did not have material ready for truck to be loaded so my delivery time was pushed to 1:00. They finally showed up at 2:30. Some of the material on the truck was wrong so a special delivery was made by a Lowes employee. We now have all the material needed for the job. Now the fun really begins- Contractor for Keller is scheduled to install flooring today 3/3. CONTRACTOR FROM KELLER is on time BUT SPEAKS ZERO ENGILSH we had to communicate by using a translator app on his phone. I HAD TO HELP HIM MOVE HEAVY FURNTIURE even though we paid Lowes for this service. Contractor removes carpet and begins to level floor BUT Lowes did not send enough self leveler for job. Contractor left at 11:30 wasn't sure why because we couldn't communicate. So I'm sitting around all day waiting for him to show up to finish job. Keller the contracting company didn't call me to tell me what to expect. Well the contractor from Keller finally shows up at 6:00 pm to level floor. Through our app communicator he tells me he'll be back tomorrow to lay the floor (really our Friday was shot and now we have to cancel our Sat. plans so we can stay home so the contractor from Keller can do his job? This job turned into a NIGHTMARE. We will NEVER use nor recommend Lowes to anyone. This store lacks communication and customer service skills!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also blame Keller who is the contractor for sending a worker to our home who can't SPEAK A BIT OF ENGLISH, and I don't know Spanish.
