We went in to buy a refrigerator didn't need or want a delivery originally the refrigerator we wanted we where told we couldn't buy due to them not being able to sell it at the moment so we went with our second option checked out they said it had to be delivered they can't let us leave with one asked when the delivery date was they said next day okay not terrible payed the delivery and left woke up next day to notice it won't be until 3-4 days later called they gave me the runaround and couldn't answer any of my questions this store is a joke don't buy appliances from them. read more

I went in today to get a lot of lumber for a fence. Of course on Saturday lumber was packed with a bunch of people trying to do home projects (expected) but in the midst of all the chaos a worker named zack helped me load a butt load of wood after I told him it's okay I got it. But he stuck through helped me load it on to a H cart then in the truck. Zack was very helpful and patient after dealing with people that weren't so patient. read more

So we're in the middle of some remodeling projects and I needed some very basic plumbing supplies for a P Trap and water lines for 4 sinks. I asked my wife if she minded going she said no problem just let her know what I needed. I looked up the part online and it said in stock. I texted the item SKU# and all to my wife. She comes home with a mountain of stuff that the Plumbing associate told her I deeded instead of what I asked for. My wife not knowing much about plumbing and relying on the advice of an "expert" got everything this person gave her. When she got home there wasn't a single item that you'd need for a sink drain a bunch of couplings the wrong diameter water supply lines 10" too long, putties, tapes, everything but the 3 items I needed for 4 sinks. I told her I appreciated wat she did but there was nothing in the pile I could use. My wife went back another unnecessary trip for her and amazingly the next time someone actually took the time to find what we needed. These big box stores put people in departments who have absolutely no idea what they're talking about or have never done a home improvement project in their collective lives. Sitting in a training session given by a sales rep does not make you a plumber, electrician, nor carpenter. There is no shame in saying I've no idea what the heck I'm talking about, none at all. Just get educated to what your supposed to sell. Sending people out of your mega box store with items you've no idea what they do and acting as if you are an authority on the matter is a problem. Thank goodness we have a couple of real hardware stores with people who've actually done home improvements. These guys need a serious check up from the neck up. read more

Service and returns have been restricted severely. Used to be you could by extra for a project and return within 90 days for refund or without a receipt for store credit, great for those 6 month projects that you don't want to make 10 trips to the store, now they require receipt for everything, many items less than 90 days, and some items just refuse to return, and forget about returning something past 90 or without receipt. read more

This is the third time I've came to this Lowe's and I figured why not review this location! The first time was when we first moved here and we didn't know that we needed salt pellets and water softener cleanser for our water softener. So we came here to purchase those items to help our water not smell like eggs. We were greeted as we came in and were assisted in finding out what we needed. This recent visit was to buy soil, pots, seeds and plants. I decided to start a mini garden. I was a little bum to see that the citronella and baby cherry tomato plants were all gone but I got seeds so it should be okay. The employee who helped was extra helpful and went out of his way to get us the organic soil we came for. The gal checking us out was extremely nice and got us out on our way! This location isn't as big as many Lowe's I've been too in the West Coast. But it's a reasonable size and we were able to find all of our needs! They've got a huge parking lot. read more

I had an interesting experience at Lowes today. First of all I guess the floor associates dont show you where you can find an item anymore. I was told to go to this area and it should be in that area. Next, at the check out the cashier was to busy talking to her grand baby to ring me up. I waited 9 mins in the lumber register for her to be done. As she's ringing me up I showed her my military dep ID card and she told me we no longer accept the military ID cards. I'm like so Lowes is anti military now? She said that military have to pre- register online through my Lowes. So, my husband who is active duty and standing behind me said that he believes he's in the system and offered to give her his info. She said no cause I'm paying. Again, I'm like wtf? Makes no sense. Were together but yet since I'm holding money in my hand she can't accept his information. Well, all I have to say is this thsnk you Lowes for saving me hundreds of dollars a month in your store. I will now drive 30 mins out of my way to do business at Home Depot. read more

Purchased carpet through Lowes. Lowes contracts with Keller out of Savannah, GA to lay the carpet. Keller hires unprofessional layers. They damaged my headboard, hallway walls, door frames and broken an item hanging on the wall. The carpet was also placed with an obvious seam right down the middle of the room. The layers tried to fix the wall piece without telling me and it was a disaster. Keller sent new layers to replace the carpet. The cost to repaint the hall and fix the door frames was $130 which I told Keller/Lowes I would do myself but did expect to get paid for the damages and for me to have to move everything twice. I got a lot of lip service from Keller and $50 from them and $50 from Lowes. DO NOT BUY CARPET THROUGH LOWES OR USE KELLAR. I have been a loyal customer of Lowes for years and can't believe how this matter was handled. read more

You know you come to lowes way to much when the customers start asking you where things are. The employees are nice and since we come so often some of them even call us The Qs lol. However on certain times of the day when you need help there isn't any one around to help you. I have even had one old gentleman tell me not to try to fix my plumbing problem and that I should call a real plumber. However walk down another isle and then you have a employee trying to help and explain to you how to save money and do it yourself. So really it depends what time and who you talk to on what you get for customer assistance. read more

After seeing so many negative reviews for such minor things I felt only right to post one. We just recently purchased a house in Kingsland & have been to this Lowe's a dozen times in a week. 3 times today as well. I have had nothing but excellent service. Sure I had to wait on employees to come and assist me because it is a huge store and I don't expect for employees to be watching me and waiting for me to ask for help. I find that kind of behavior stalkerish. No no no Mr. associate, if I need help I will come find you or find someone to call for the correct associate. My boyfriend had ordered 5 gallons of paint and after looking at the color he later realized that it was too bright for our main area, the associate had no issue mixing another 5 gallon bucket for us, even though it was my boyfriends fault bc that's the color he asked them to mix. We had an issue with another gallon of paint and brought it back here to see if they could somehow fix the issue and the girl working in returns simply gave us our money back. That is beyond generous! For Lowe's to take a complete loss with no issues or ugly looks either makes them #1 in my book. read more

Pros: They are in Kingsland. Cons: A lot of talking among employees or standing around and no help. Employees restock right in the way and you can't shop and they will not move. Never any cash registers open. Never anyone in returns anymore. It was so much better before the other Manager Brooke left. They have less and less employees on hand to help especially on the weekends. PLEASE HOME DEPOT COME TO CAMDEN!!!!! read more

Date - 11/26/19 Time - 8 AM I enter the store at 8 AM and go to the Garden Center through the main entrance because the Garden Center gate is locked. I didn't think anything about it because it's usually locked when I get there after 7 AM. I go to the Garden Center to load up allot of stuff. I can't get to the bags of sand with my cart because a caution barrier was up. There were no employees working the area that was blocked. So I start hand carrying the bags of sand and an employee shows up and moves the barrier. After I have a very heavy load pushed to the register at about 8:15 I'm told by the person who waters the plants that they're not open yet. I go to customer service to find out what the problem is and I find the Store Manager holding an employee meeting in front of customer service. One of the employees in attendance is the one that runs the Garden Center register. As I showed my dissatisfaction with the events, the Representative followed me back to the Garden Center and told me that the reason she wasn't at her work area, other than standing in an employee gathering at Customer Service, was that she was assigned to customer self service checkout because that worker didn't show up for work. So, Lowe's allows one of the biggest departments to go unstaffed while customers wait. Who knows what time the Garden Center would have been opened up had I not gone to Customer Servuce. The gate was unlocked at 8:20 AM. That's with a big sign posted on the gate with 7 AM as opening time. Wow - I got the ultimate run-around treatment from this location trying to get an installation quote. I went by the store in person, and someone took my name and number and said an installer would contact me. The installer contacted me and left a phone message. I called back, they didn't answer the phone, but their message said I had to call a national number and they would put me in touch with an installer. So I called the national Lowe's number - and they said I had to call the local store in Kingsland. So I did that - and the local store sent me back to the national number - which this time sent me to a Lowe's in a different city - who then told me I needed to call the local store back! Good job Lowe's! Way to make sure I never go to you to get a quote on a job! read more

This has been by far the worse experience I have ever dealt with. We were affected by hurricane Irma and had to get a whole new kitchen. Ordered in OCTOBER.. didn't get completely finished until February. They tell you one thing but never go threw with it. They can't tell you an actual time frame they will be at your house with your items. But they will call you 5 hours before they are even on their way. Worseeee place to shop ever. Just had Kitchen Counter Tops installed by Lowes. Also purchased a new sink, dishwasher and stand-a-lone range. In my opinion, communications during the job was poor when it came to planning, scheduling and job status. The Counter top and new range install was not as good as I expected. The Counter top with sink and dishwasher were good. read more
