Flexsteel warrants their springs for a lifetime, but after Waters gave us the name of a technician to contact for the repair they refuse to assist us further. The sales people are low pressure and extremely willing to take their time with you in helping with your decision. We purchased two leather sofa's and a chair. The furniture was delivered late Sept 15'. We noticed when delivered that the furniture (sofa's only) had a distinct odor. One more than the other but the chair was fine. We thought the smell would eventually fade, thinking it was part of the manufacturing process. After 6 weeks, we could still smell the odor. Our family would come over and mention the smell. I called customer service. I thought this would be a huge fight after reading reviews from other furniture companies. However, not this one! Karen stated that they haven't had any complaints until now. After discussing the issue with Karen in customer service, it was decided that they would replace the sofas. We just received the sofas today and so far, no distinct odor. They were unwrapped from the truck in my driveway just as the originals were. We love the furniture and I feel the company made it right. There is no way they could have known about the odor from the original sofas as they were brand new out of the box from the truck then unwrapped and moved into our living room. Our family recently bought three pieces of furniture from Wright Furniture & Flooring. The…read moresalespeople were super helpful and friendly. We picked pieces from a line sold as a "higher quality" line. When our delivery arrived, two of the three pieces came in and were absolutely perfect. The third piece was defective. It had a clear manufacturer's defect. We did not accept delivery of the third piece. The delivery team took it "back to the shop" and came back in a short while with it "fixed." It was better but still not fixed, so we sent it it back again. In the past, when we have bought furniture from other dealers, we have had the option or returning defective products for a new one. After all, it is not the dealer's fault if the manufacturer made a mistake. However, this is not the case with Wright Furniture and Flooring. Apparently, if they receive a piece that is defective, they fix it in house and declare it new and in "good working order." That means, you MUST accept it as is. Anyone who has ever bought anything knows that if you alter a product, the seller will not accept it back if you alter it. Buyer beware that if you order something from Wright, they will not send it back to the manufacturer and get you a new one that is made properly. They will "fix" it. They will also not refund your money for a faulty product because it is not their fault. They will not offer you a store credit, they will not offer a refund, and they will change their story several times. And we were told that we cannot refuse delivery if the piece comes a third time and is still defective. They have deemed it fine, and so it must be so. The "fix" done by Wright will void any warranty from the manufacturer if there is one. So, be very careful about ordering something that is not on the showroom floor. The overall experience with the furniture shopping was good enough that we went back and ordered a large carpet piece to be made into a rug. We had planned on returning for additional rugs and maybe more furniture pieces if the need arose. The interactions we had about this one small piece of furniture have left such a sour taste in our mouths, that we will actively avoid doing business with them in the future. IF I buy ANYTHING from them again, I will NOT buy something I cannot inspect in store myself. I advise others to do the same.
