Most of the product is separated in categories (cakes, shells, novelties, assortments, etc) they have the biggest selection I have ever seen of any store. They carry just about every major brand you can think of, and even some of the not so known brands that are should I say exxtra spicy... I spent about 2 hours in here and honestly I could probably spend a lot more time in there if I had a blank check.. Most of the time I was just talking shop with one of the managers and another older fellow "Pyro" who came all the way from Texas. The staff was great and very helpful, recommended some stuff that turned out to be great, and gave me some helpful tips. Prices are actually pretty low compared to just about every other place offering those gimmicky "BOGO" deals which is just rolling the price of both items in to one so you feel like your getting a deal. Unfortunately they do NOT offer wholesale pricing however their retail price is still lower than those other places with fake discounts and promotions. In all honesty this is one of the best shops I been too, great selection, friendly staff, good prices. My biggest issue is I wish I lived closer so I could go there more often..

We have been learning about it at home, so I wanted my 5 year olds to get some eyes on real pottery, and when I shared this with the two ladies behind the calendar, they offered to give us a brief tour of their workshop! They were both very warm and friendly and even happy to let both of my daughters have a treat for the shop cat. Lots of lovely pottery was for sale. A good amount is made in house, but about 30 other artists also sell their wares at the shop. There were many pieces we would have loved to have brought home or purchase as gifts. Definitely worth a stop! Shop small and local!

As a life long resident of Hannibal I have always supported small businesses, Ayers pottery had…read morealways been one of my favorites. I have acquired many beautiful pieces of their work over the years but after visiting the shop recently I was beyond disappointed. The pieces were not functional, practical, or enjoyable to look at and both of the ladies that had worked there for years were no longer working. I cannot imagine why the new creator of these pieces thinks that anyone would want to display something so ugly in their home, let alone use such pieces when entertaining guests. Eyeballs on everything?!? Leave the abstract art for the walls and go back to creating beautiful functional pottery like Lisa and Sherry used to make! The atmosphere was cold, almost like the shop worker was irritated that I was browsing. I never experienced such rudeness or saw tacky pieces before Mr. Ayers retired. Tacky ugly pieces and snotty customer service is so disappointing. Saddens me to say that I will not be supporting the unique and creative pottery shop that once was....

Hey, I would go all out on the holiday train theme if I owned this place. And in case you did not know, there are trains galore for all ages to enjoy and even buy. This being said, I would recommend coming in here for a quick visit on your way to see the Mark Twain stuff.

My wife noticed a sign stating that they buy Pokemon cards in bulk, so figured that it meant they sold them as well. Sure enough, we stopped in and found various trading card games being sold. It's clear that the pricing is in tune with current online values as some of the more popular packs were priced as high as $12.99. I ended up buying a few packs, all through the kiosk and was satisfied with what I got. Oh, they sell various coffee drinks as well.
