I went to Lowes in Franklin, Virginia to purchase some landscape timbers. I could not locate them so I asked an associate. He directed me to the cashier in the lumber department and said "Tell her what you want. She will ring you up and give you a receipt. Take the receipt to the opposite end of the store and they will load the timbers for you". I tried to do that but the cashier had no idea what to do or how to handle the sale. She was a tall, attractive, young black lady. I attempted the purchase around 4 PM on Tuesday, May 20th. Since she was unable/unwilling to help me I told her to forget it and I walked out. I may never return to that store again. I have been known to hold a grudge against a store with bad service for decades! read more

Went here because they had two items I needed to purchase, and had found them both at this store via the Lowe's App identifying nearby stores. Lowes manager (Brandon) refused to price match a nearby Lowes for one of the items on sale and said it was "Lowes corporate policy" that they wouldn't price match other stores, in spite of Lowes having a public Price Match Guarantee. This is absolutely ridiculous customer service and the Franklin Lowes will be losing a customer because of this. read more

I received a Samsung refrigerator from Lowes Franklin, which was delivered a day late. When I went to put the shelves in the plastic was mangled so they wouldn't fit. After going back and forth I finally received a new refrigerator which was the wrong one. If you look at the order from the last one then you should know what to order. So now I have to wait another week to ten days for another replacement. Last time I order something from that store. And that was talking to the store managers. I don't usually do negative reviews but hey no shelves in my fridge for 3 weeks. read more

If I could rate it less than that, I would. I purchased carpet on April 7, 2021 and got a call from Servicepro - the company they use to install their carpet on April 27th that my carpet was in and to schedule an appointment to have it installed. It was scheduled for May 11th but on May 10th I was called and told the installer's truck was in the shop and he could not come on the 11th. Over the next week I was called twice and told the soonest they could install it was June 7th - 4 weeks later!! I called and went into the store a number of times to no available at getting my carpet installed any sooner. I finally went in and talked to another manager who made a call and told me they couldn't do it any sooner and they wanted to push it back to June 18th! Extremely poor customer care. Once my refund is processed, I will be closing my Lowes account permanently and shop elsewhere! With there was a Home Depot closer than 30 minutes from me!! read more

After some time on the phone with managers here they found the faucet and promptly shipped it out. It matches what I needed, was easy to install, and works great. Not many people take the time to knowledge when somebody goes out of their way during the course of their job and I'd like to do that now. I ordered online from Lowes.com: two lights that I needed unfortunately they didn't have them but they located them at a store that they said was nearby. As it turns out that the store was 2 1/2 hours form me and certainly in my opinion not nearby. I called the store and spoke to the manager Beverly and instead of giving me a hard time and telling me I had to come and pick my order up, she went out of her way and was nice enough to say that she'd ship it out even though that's not really their policy. So I applaud her for going above and beyond especially during the holiday season. She was polite and professional and I'd like to say thank you very much for making my day a little bit easier. We are very impressed with Lowes in Franklin. I called about lumber to build a deck and had a definite list of materials. Since we haven't moved to this area yet, much of our business is done by phone and computer. Marshal, lumber dept. readily assisted me and within a short period of time the order was confirmed as available and a delivery date was determined. I called the day prior to delivery and confirmed it would arrive as scheduled. Just received call that lumber delivered. I ordered a new Samsung dryer on 5 Sep 2016 I received the call on Sunday night saying it will be delivered between 1000-1200 on Monday the 19 Sep 2016 I received a call at 1126 saying my dryer was not in andi back ordered until 24 Oct 2016 I took time off work to be there for the delivery. The delivery manger said she would find my dryer and leave a note for Ricky as soon as he comes in. Well Ricky had the day off. So I called back 2 hours later. I was transferred to the same lady that said she was going to get Ricky to look into it the next day. I did not take no for an answer I asked for a store manager. They pushed me to the appliance manager he said he was going to call me back with and answer good or bad. On 20 Sep 2016 I called again in the morning at 0845 I told the that I called Greenville NC lowes and the Washington NC lowes and Elizabeth Ciry nc lowes and they all said that they have 80 of my dryer in there distribution center in mooresville NC they said they where going to give me a call back by 1100 well no call until 145 by that time I drove to the store and got a refund of 700.00 and went to Elizabeth City and ordered it and Tim said it will be in about 4-5 days.
