We've not had any problems at this store other than having to track someone down for help with something. No one seems to be proactively seeing if customers need assistance. We have gotten our washer & dryer here, Christmas lights and a tree, other small stuff. I don't go very often but I've not had anyone be rude. read more

This is a location that suffered from Lowe's enacting DEI policies 4-5 years ago, and hasn't yet recovered. From ppl not answering the phones, to deliveries....this place needs work. I paid for a gazebo that I was told would take 10 days for delivery....3 months in, I had to threaten the manufacturer to finally get my gazebo. I bought a big portable generator, Lowe's corporate reached out 3 weeks later asking how my new pressure washer purchase was. Then, I hired Lowe's to redo my flooring in my home and paid for multiple areas upfront. They send s sub to my home that speaks no English, and the job looked ok....but when the sub was done, he told me to stop using Lowe's, that they could do my work cheaper. I shared this with Lowe's as their subs were ripping them off. Lowe's verified everything I said was true, and then told me they couldn't work with me any longer....BECAUSE I TOLD THE TRUTH. Friday 8/25 Cameron in the paint department was awesome! We thought we bought paint from Lowe's but it turns out we bought it from another large hardware store chain that shall remained unnamed. The color was mixed incorrectly and Cameron even called the other store to get it fixed for us! He couldn't have been more helpful. This man needs a raise! Saturday 8/26 today we went to the paint department again and we had another great experience! And get this, we were helped by Cameron, but not the same Cameron as yesterday. I don't know what Lowe's is doing but the Cameron's in the paint section are rock stars. I'm going to order a bumber sticker that says Cameron for president, which cameron? .......... all of them. read more

We have ordered thousands of dollars worth of fencing and had delivered multiple times however this last time we had a line post damaged and they told us they couldn't bring a corner post we could go get it from a local store. First of all local store had none or surrounding area. Second of all with the damaged line post they are saying it would be 3 more weeks before we could get another delivered when they have multiple in stock. Brian in conway sc location was not very nice or helpful with this situation. Point blank Lowes will no longer have us as a customer. Again we have done lots of business with Lowe's and this is sad that they can't help us anyway with a couple post. read more

Went to Lowes on 501 in Conway today (6/10/20240 with my landscaper to select border stones. I paid at customer service for 43 very heavy border stones. My landscaper drove his truck into the garden center loading area for loading. He waited approximately 30 minutes but no one showed up and decided to load the stones himself. Problem is he has a bladder illness and uses medical equipment. I called the store 4 times to speak with the manager to let him know that the employees did not come to help him but he never came to the phone. Dropped the rating to 2 stars due to horrible service received. Went to buy some electrical wiring and needed a salesperson to cut and price it. Pushed the button in the aisle to call for assistance and heard the announcement go out. Then waited and waited. Assistance light went out after about 5 minutes. Nothing. Hit the button again, announcement made....nothing. Hit a third time....and a salesperson from another department came over. He apologized and said he will try to help but was not familiar with electrical. He said they are understaffed but assisted. He found what I needed and I was finally on my way. Thanks to that salesperson for helping and its a shame this problem is occurring. read more

Veterans get special parking and 10% off, even online. When I am tight on time I go online and order what I need. With great upfront parking, veteran discounts, and a great staff it is always nice to stop in when I need stuff for the house. read more

On October 15, 2023 at the Lowes in Conway SC, I purchased a cook top stove. On Feb 26, 2023 I had to cancel the order. The item never arrived. Their first excuse was that the supplier sent the wrong item, (which I now think was not true) So I had to call and reschedule another delivery date. This next delivery date also was missed, so I called again and got yet another date. Now repeat this process about another 10ish times!! We talked to a manager and she called their vendor in Kentucky, and yes, got another date. That date came and went as I gave them a few extra days extra to call me, but as expected they never did so I called Lowes again and the manager who I talked to stated that the truck broke down, but it may be in that evening or the next day. Again, I waited a few days after that delivery date but yet again no call from Lowes, so I called and they gave me another delivery date!!! I asked what happened to the truck breakdown, and they didn't could not give me any information on it. So 4 plus months later from the original order date I went to Lowes canceled the order and demanded my money back, the manager denied that they lied to me on delivery dates and that they just went with the computer updates. That's is total BS! I have no idea on how many people I talked to at Lowes, and that's when I was not put on hold or no one answered the phone. We liked shopping at Lowes but we will never shop there again! It seemed that I was a burden to them. BTW I ordered the exact item from Home Depot a few days later and it arrived right on time a week later. The minimum rating here is one star, I wouldn't even give them that. read more

Multiple staff members wearing masks improperly. Not covering nose, taking mask off to speak with customer. Did not see hand sanitizer. No door attendant to remind customers to wear masks so multiple customers entered maskless. I did speak with managers about concerns. Will not be returning. We got appliances. Washer and dryer and a refrigerator. Lowes wasnt having a sale at the moment but they will hold items for upto 30 days. Best buy did have a sale , but couldn't guarantee the availability of the product. Lowes GLEEFULLY matched the price on the units, was cheaper on the accessories by 50$. And scheduled delivery 30 days out. The salesman Robert was great. A very pleasant and inexpensive experience. I got the protection plan, which I usually dont, but when you read all the benefits it's a no brainer. read more

Recently I bought 40 bails of sod!!! Initially when buying .... a guy named Charlie was sooooo helpful! He worked over and above meeting my expectations! About a month later, I received a phone call asking me how the grass was progressing!! Pleasantly surprised about the call, I told her one section didn't make it!! DON'T let Lowe's fool you. They don't care about their customers. We ordered a dishwasher on Labor Day weekend (9/3/23), the delivery was set up for the following Wednesday (the 6th). Dishwasher arrived damaged. I called Lowes, they told me I needed to talk to the warehouse. Called the warehouse, they told me I had to talk to delivery. Then delivery proceeded to tell me that I had two options: 1) I could request a pick up and have them process a refund (thus making us lose our labor day deal), or 2) I could request a pick up and wait for them to receive it, and THEN they'd process a replacement request. When I asked how long that would take for option 2, the lady said she wasn't able to answer that because she didn't know. So since the 6th was the last day of the labor day sale, my husband and I decided we'd have to go order AND PAY for another one while they were processing the return/refund of the other (which they told us wouldn't be able to be picked up until Sunday 9/10/23)... When we got to Lowes at 7:45pm (Exhausted, and it being the last thing we wanted to do after a day of work for both of us, and homeschooling our 3 kids too), the guy in the appliance section told us we didn't need to buy a new one, that we could do an exchange. So he set up the exchange (For the new one to be delivered when the old one was picked up on Sunday). Well Sunday came and they only picked up the old one and didn't replace it. They said, sorry we didn't get the exchange request note. "Um, not my problem, where's my dishwasher?" They said they have a new policy that they don't do immediate exchanges. So be warned - no matter how much you spend at their store, if they mess up or send you a damaged product, you will be stuck waiting and not knowing when you'll get a new one. I called corporate, and they confirmed this is their policy. Don't make the mistake we did - do yourself a favor and go order your appliances from a store that actually cares about their customers! Bought a chainsaw for fathers day, upon opening, it was already used, had gas in the tank & leaves in box. I Called & explained and the man in outdoor equipment i spoke to was kind & sorry & told me what to do. Went to exchange it & the customer service woman was ridiculously unpleasant & rude. They had nothing to say about the chain saw, didn't even check the box, then when one employee didnt understand what we needed, another one barked at us to "go get the one we want." She knew she didint have the chainsaw in stock because when i came back she had already processed my refund and assumed i wanted it via cash back, which i didnt. I been coming to this Lowe's store for about 8 years now and every time I come it's like I'm on my own I walk around and see workers doing things here and there and they walk right by and not once have I had one of them say can I help you. Miitary Discount does not apply to sale items at Lowe's Aug. 18 called Lowe's store#1705 on gas range interested in purchasing. Gave CSR item # said I could order online. I let CSR know I was going to be using Military discount and would come to store as can't do online. Went and purchased item and after all written up was told I could not use Military discount that Lowe's had changed it's policy. I went to customer service as CSR said that's where I could speak with someone and pay for purchase. I spoke with gentleman who I thought was manager and was told same thing about sale items not getting military discount. I called 1-800-445-6937 and spoke with nice lady Asia and she said same thing about sale items not getting military discount. Told her was giving this review and dissatisfied with how Lowe's handled problem. She asked if I would do survey at end of call and said yes. When told to press one for survey got sorry but technical difficulty and survey could not be completed! Imagine that. read more

I use the word desperation in the sense that I know exactly what I'm looking for at that moment of being in the middle of a project. It's been about 2 months since I had Lowes install a new deck on my house. The incompetence is starting to show. They used steel nails and now all the nail heads are rusting. Why didn't they use galvanized nail for an outdoor deck? Also all the blasters are loose. They only put 1 nail on the top and bottom. If you bump them they fall off. Dealing with putting new carpet in and so far 4 attempts and not done and blaming on the measurement people who blame on installer whom blamed it on the sales person.
