This is my "back home" Lowe's location. This visit, Dad and I ran out to pick up some things for the holidays. Hate the self checkouts and even though it can be slow here service is friendly. I don't think Lowe's has the best pricing and can be a little expensive but this location always has a great selection of everything. read more

I've spent literally thousands of dollars at this store since moving back to the area, including a washer/ dryer set that was delivered (late) a few days ago. Though I paid for installation and paid for the extra items required for installation, they didn't have the right hookups to install either the washer or the dryer. I found out after they left that they also didn't even bother to tighten the water lines that that did hook up. Never again will I buy as much as a screw from Lowe's. read more

2/28/24 730pm Lovely staff. Greeted when I walked in. I had a lifetime tool return, and they helped me out. I got asked by 3 different people if I needed help while walking around. They have the great deal of the dewalt 12v tools coming with a free starter kit, so i had to take that deal. Tool staff was there and helped me with no problem. I got the last 1/4 dewalt, 12 Volt Ratchet they had. Online said they had none in stock but I guess I got lucky. Thank you all! read more

Lowes lost a sale due to their circular telephone robot. When I ask for a representative (a human) then connect me, don't ask another question to try to avoid connecting me to a human. read more

this store is the most unorganized and misplaced and missing items mainly plumbing and electrical hardware etc. management is NO help

This is my personal and unique opinion of Lowe's Home Centers, LLC 350 Diedrich Boulevard Ashland, KY 41101 also known as Store Number 1123. This opinion was formed based on my recent personal experience with Lowe's. On November 16, 2019, I purchased an LG WHT WT7300CW washer, MED663HW dryer and XHPC155XW dryer stand from Lowe's. When the salesperson rang up the sale, the total was $400 more than the advertised price. We had shopped the features and benefits of similar units and made our final selection based on the value of the advertised price displayed on the Lowe's price card for each item. The Lowe's salesperson said not to worry, and that the price would be adjusted as promised using a mail-in rebate which would give us $400 in Visa Prepaid Cards. On November 18, 2019, we mailed our Lowe's receipt and rebate forms as instructed and patiently waited the 8 weeks of processing time. By mid-January 2020, the promised $400 in Visa Prepaid Cards had not arrived. In an attempt to resolve the situation, we visited the store twice. Lowe's customer service couldn't find any registration of our rebate. Eventually we found a customer service staffer that directed us to contact the Lowe's Rebate Center directly at (877) 204-1223. The Lowe's Rebate Center informed us that there wasn't a valid rebate offer for the items we purchased and that we would not be receiving the $400 in Visa Prepaid Cards. On 2.14.2020 The new Lowe's Store Manager Tracey told me that the former store manager and 1/2 of his staff in Appliances were terminated for similar complaints, but there wasn't anything she could do because it happened before she was assigned to that store. In my opinion, Lowe's lied to me to sell appliances at a price $400 higher than I was willing to pay. Knowing that Lowe's staff had used this ploy to sell appliances is simply appalling. In my opinion, knowing that Lowe's terminated the store manager and key employees for doing this to other customers is shocking, but honorable. However, in my opinion, knowing that Lowe's won't make it right with their customers makes them complicit. Lowe's is no longer the friendly do-right retailer that Lucius Lowe founded. It is my opinion that their actions are unconscionable and possibly illegal. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! And by giving my truthful and honest opinion on this consumer complaint site, I hope to help Lowe's improve its honesty, transparency, integrity and services in the future of dealing with me and its other customers. read more

Why do i have to BEG people to take my damn money anymore. I run a garage that's doing bang up business. so much in fact we have exhausted all our old DeWalt power tools. I wanted 2 1/2 impact drills. that would have been over $500. Waited. Waited..... still waited. heard "help wanted in tools" fifty damn times. To hell with this. i got so mad i left. read more

This one star rating is not for the store but for the loaders that "help" load after your purchase. Today I gave in and allowed them to help, something I rarely do. I had stacked half of the 50 lb cement bags I was purchasing in my truck when they brought the rest around and began helping me load the remainder. I continued stacking while the helper/employee began just throwing bags in the truck. True to form, when I get home one of the bags is busted completely open cl because they don't take care of the product after purchase or your vehicle. Now I have to go back to Lowe's to get a replacement bag then go home and clean the cement out of the bed of my truck. This would not have happened if I insisted on loading it myself as I usually do. They do not care!!! I was behind a guy in line once who was very unhappy with the service he was getting and he blurted out "this town needs a Home Depot". I reminded him that Depot would be hiring from the same shallow gene pool. read more

what exactly are the qualifications to work here? every time I come here I can't get one person to help me. I came for wood for flooring and an employee walk past me and asked if I needed help, I said yes. he continued to walk past and tell me he would get someone to help me. no one came. I've been here multiple times for flooring and and the shortest amount of time I've stood at the flooring desk is 45 minutes. anytime I ask an employee for help with what I'm looking for they refuse to help me. all they say is I'll get someone to help you, and then 30 minutes later I find the person I asked for help around the corner talking to another employee neither one coming to help. they are constantly out of stock in anything I need. it's like they never order more things, just once it runs out it's gone. It would be really nice if you could get people willing to do their jobs rather than stand around and make money for doing nothing. read more

I bought a stove that was supposed to be delivered today. It came damaged, so the installers took it back. Now they are saying it'll be almost 3 weeks before they can replace it. So, I get to go without a working kitchen till the 28th. That's just how long it will take for it to come in. Who knows how long till it gets installed. Good luck trying to get a manager on the phone!!! read more

Easier to herd cats than to deal with the installation department. When calling the main number and asked to give feedback, this location no longer accepts feedback...gee, wonder why. They have no record of me even with the purchase order / project number that I had to call the plumbers myself to get. They have my name wrong , although I have tried to have them change it 3 times! Customer service is a circus! read more

I had to put a fence around my property $4000 for a fence. I think I could've hired a preschool team and it would've looked better. They contracted it out as they do... The contractor showed up slapped it together quickly and moved onto the next job. The fence is uneven, the front gate scrapes the sidewalk, they screwed a post to the siding of my house It's not touching the ground it's just a post screwed into vinyl siding. Contractor told me they were going to have to drill into the concrete to set that post. I told him that was fine. But instead of doing that he screwed the post to the vinyl siding at the corner of my house. When the wind blows the whole side of the fence wiggles. The top part of the posts look like they were half cut and then broken off. They are uneven. I have called several times. They keep telling me someone will call me back within the week. This has been the most horrible experience. read more

order and paid for a Bosch dishwasher (not cheap). still have not seen it yet !! I have telephoned Lowes at Russell, Ky MULTIPLE TIMES; however, rarely talk with an actual person and when I do I end up getting transferred to another department that does not answer phone. this place is following the downhill spiral to nothing. furthermore, lowes stopped doing veteran discounts on much of their stuff. what a bunch of hypocrites read more

Would not give them not even a star! My mother ordered a window April 1st 2019 when the window came in the measurements were wrong after they sent two different guys at two different times to measure the darn window! Here we are June 22nd 2019 and still the window is not installed! Every time we attempt to call Lowe's and talk to someone in management we get disconnected! This window was paid cash! My mother has been with Lowe's for many many years! I am sick by this transaction! Unacceptable! read more

Tried to enter the Lowe's Of Russell today with my S/O and was told to turn around. The man at the door was incredibly rude. We are from Arkansas and didn't realize there was a one person rule and he was very hateful about it so we left to do our business else where. And then we sat and watched while he allowed other groups walk in together. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

This Lowe's installed a roof on my house in 2010. Fast forward to now. Shingles are falling off and there is no tar paper under the shingles. The roofers didn't install tar paper and missed the nail strips. This poor installation voids the manufacturers warranty. Lowe's warranties labor for only one year. I would need xray vision to know that it was installed improperly. Lowe's will not help me, locally nor corporately. I paid $6,000 for a 30 year roof that is failing under 10. One year labor warranty is a scam. read more

ordered a washer and dryer set online to be delivered to my home, after about a month they delivered them. the washer ended up having the entire back panel broke off and had some scratches around it, so we called and got a pick up scheduled to get it exchanged. It took 3 weeks for them to pick it up(10/4), and they said it would be delivered on 10/21. my husband and I had to call 3 times and they kept saying we were already refunded and Sandy would hang up (then would say the call dropped when we called her back). we said we'd come to the store and get it figured out once we came back today from being out of town and she sounded like she was on the verge of tears. She ended up calling us back three times until we answered the last one, saying she didn't look at our whole account and that the refund was held for the exchange and they would send a new washer today. It finally arrived, but we shouldn't have had this many issues. out of the two appliance managers we talked to in the two months of this whole ordeal - Brian was great, Sandy not so much. I'm never ordering from Lowe's again, and I'm still out so much time waiting for the washer that just showed up an hour before posting this, I have two toddlers (Do you know how much dirty laundry they put out?!) and work in long term healthcare where need my scrubs washed multiple times a week. This was a MAJOR inconvenience for my entire family, it was ridiculous, and I'm astounded at how Sandy tried to talk to us like we were stupid. stated she's the assistant store manager, but severely lacks customer service skills. read more

Do not bother coming to this lowes location. There was not 1 register open. There was one poor older lady at the self checkout trying to handle all of the customers. I was having an issue with one of my items scanning and it said I needed an attendant. Well good luck finding one of those. I waited for a few minutes and nobody would help me. So I just left my stuff lay there and drove across the street to tractor supply to get what I needed read more

I'm giving this Lowes a one star because unfortunately you can't give zero stars! Their customer service sucks always has and probably unfortunately always well be this is the worst experience I have had it any retail stores ever, if you want customer service do not go to this Lowe's and the employees that work there obviously know nothing about anything because it's not their department ! They won't even help you try to find out anything because it's not their department?!?!?! I'm threw with them! read more

I ordered a garage door in May,from the Russel Ky store. The door wasn't installed until August. On the day I ordered the door it was ordered in the wrong name, they used my phone number to bring up another person's account who had the phone number previously. Upon getting the receipt that day I told them it was wrong and they gave me a new receipt with my name. They failed to change the name on the order with the door manufacturer, and the door was never made, until I told them about 6 weeks later, when I was tired of waiting for the door to be installed They reordered the door. and a month later it was installed. I was promised a store credit, I never received the store credit despite me calling Customer Service 3 times. read more
