They offer many classes for arrange a physical activities from easy yoga to spinning. There is a woodshop. There is a computer center. There are meeting rooms. There's even a rock Center!!! The staff are all super helpful. The bathrooms are clean. There are lots of comfortable quiet places to sit. Room for groups of crafters or card players to meet. All of this with ample parking and access to the river trail make this a real gem.

It is very clean and the restrooms are clean. The Center sponsors great workshops, events, and is part of the Springfield Art Walk so I appreciate all the hard work of the employees and volunteers. The only problem are the 3 or so core regulars who I think actually live in the park that are inside the Center everyday/allday. One guy is always spouting off at the top of his lungs about "Jesus, blah, blah, blah" while the other guy with a junk filled shopping cart is an expert on the FBI, CIA, an Army Ranger, knows about China, Russia, & cloning. The only thing he doesn't know about is getting a job so he will have something to do. These men talk so loud they disrupt the entire room and no one shuts them up so if you want to work on your laptop or read a book or even visit then you have to put up this these guys. I finally quit going.

Alsea Falls Recreation Site (AFRS) is a picturesque area located 30 minutes southwest of Corvallis and boasts gorgeous forests of red cedars, maples, and Douglas firs as well as two waterfalls. I thought hiking trails here were pleasant. They offer plenty of shade and aren't very strenuous. Alsea Falls is located rather close to the day use parking lot, but there is a 1.4 mile trail leading to Green Peak Falls if you walk across the wooden bridge. The trail is poorly marked so you may lose it when you end up at McBee Park campground. Stick to the right and you will find two trails. Take the right official trail with the trail post. The left trail is shorter but there are stinging nettles along the way. Green Peak is the larger of the two falls and it is possible to climb to the top via the adjacent trail (right side), but it is steep so be careful. O T H E R I N F O -Day use parking is $3. Fill out an envelope. Drop off the envelope with payment in the receptacle across from the outhouse. Keep the stub in your vehicle. -Amenities within the campground include drinking water and vault toilets. Several campsites can accommodate large RVs or trailers; up to 32 feet long. -Dogs are allowed on a leash so bring the family pup along! -Salmon and steelhead fishing during the winter months. -The park is clean. Keep it that way and pack your trash until you find a rubbish bin. -Pack a camera. Take plenty of photos. Collect memories instead of things.

The front desk staff were super friendly and showed us where to go and set up a divider for us. There's a ton of parking and a traffic light next to the center so it's easy to get in and out of. I would definitely go back again during a quieter time of day.

If you're for sure are going to make it every day within the 10 days, the pass will only get you 6-8 days considering they're closed Sunday and Monday. I spoke with the swim coordinator but she would not refund my money or switch me to a fully-enclosed pool as they felt that they did nothing wrong. I feel the facility was falsly advertised. Now I must dispute it with my credit card company in order to receive my money back. We were only able to swim once but paid $35. That's an expensive lesson for a 30 minute baby class.

Leaving your baby with strangers in a cabin in the woods for several days has lots of potential drawbacks with just a little imagination. Our oldest child's first camp experience was a great one, as was ours. The camp registration process was smooth and informative. The communication from the camp was clear. When we dropped our child off, the staff were exceptionally pleasant and reassuring. Adam, the coordinator fellow, was great about telling parents what to expect and offering encouraging words to those of us who were feeling some trepidation. The camp was the highlight of our child's summer. It was the most talked about experience up until school started and even at school, the teacher commented on how great camp must have been. We will likely be sending both of our kids to camp this year and we look forward to another super camp experience at Tadmor.

I would think that there would be some emphasis on trying to encourage parents to swim with their children. Instead, they're catering to the folks who can afford an elite pool membership. They need to provide an unlimited single pool access pass for parents and children. How is acting like an exclusive, for profit club working towards community building? Their new price scheme is exclusive, to say the least. I just want to teach my children to swim, but they're charging over $20 a visit for my two children and me to swim.
