As little independent shops go you couldn't find a more rootsy and down to earth little store. It's almost unfair to actually call in a shop, it's more of a wardrobe - in size at least. This place is tiny! It's a bit like one of those eternal puzzles too - for somewhere so small, too small to even fit more than one customer at a time, how on earth does it pack in an almost infinite amount of stuff? I don't know.
What do they sell at Lowcost? Well, the sign says 'Houseware, Gifts, Tools etc' and that's reasonably accurate. I wouldn't exactly say that I saw anything particularly gift worthy, they had a few tacky plastic children's items such as princess shoes, but other than that I'm not really getting 'gift' from the place. But, housewares and tools is more of a definite. From laundry baskets, pegs, tea cups, straws, candles and much much more, this little cupboard of tat has it all.
