Our neighbor also had tree work done at that same time with J. Macaluso and the company did both properties in 2 days, including stump grinding and cleanup. I just turned 75 and decided it was time to make my life a little easier. I figured it was time to…read moreclear all the flower gardens over run with weeds, the small trees, and out of control bushes that my front yard was a refuge for. Basically I just wanted grass to mow and be done with it. I also thought that it was time to replace the weed-laden garden that bordered my house with a nice rock border with a weed barrier underneath to keep it clear of invasive weeds. I called Robert Brown based on the great reviews he had on here and hoped for the best. I have had issues in the past with hiring handymen who either did shoddy work, or never finished the job after they convinced me to give them payment because of an urgent need. I decided this time I was going to hire a professional and not get fooled again. Rob showed up personally and listened carefully to what I had in mind and gave me a great price estimate which I only replied with "when can you start?" He showed up with his assistant Boo, and his mini Kubota tractor and digger and jumped right on re-configuring my front yard. They worked at an accelerated pace, and I could not believe how fast and professionally they accomplished their task at hand. Rob even made a few suggestions that made more work for himself, but refused to change the price, even though I offered to pay more. He said: "It's not about the money for me, I just want to make my customers happy." My neighbor came over to watch and was amazed at how fast they got the job done. Rob is a wizard with that tractor and even yanked out an impossible to get rid of crepe myrtle tree with ease! They finished the job by installing the rock border and replaced the border blocks I had from before to make a perfect job! The work was done quickly and professionally, everything was cleaned up and hauled away, and you could see the honest pride Rob took in his work as he showed my wife and me the finished project. I can't say enough about this man, Robert Brown. He is one thing that is extremely rare these days, a sincere man! What a pleasure, and an honor to have met him and his hard working assistant! My husband and I were extremely impressed with him and his legitimate equipment. Our property has been overgrown for far too long. The sandman came and made it all disappear, while preserving a few plants scattered throughout. We can't sing his praises enough! He stayed longer than what we expected making sure everything was trimmed and sprayed all over for weeds. Honestly, for the amount of work he did, we were satisfied with his upfront price, which like some others, he didn't try to up-charge us! He is a nice and honest man. We gave him a few extra dollars, which was less than he deserved for all the hard work he did. And he was so honest telling us there was extra money! We just gave him a llittle extra we had on hand. But what integrity and honesty he possesses not to just assume it was his and not a mistake on our end. What else can you ask from any contractor!? Hire him for any yard related work or landscape design. You will not be disappointed. We will be hiring the Sandman again! We keep looking at our yard is disbelief at how wonderful it looks! Extremely happy with your work! We only wish ALL contractors here were like you! Thank you, and we look forward to having you do future landscaping! Ann & Sal

So having just been "bilked" by Triad tree service, I needed a company I could trust to do what I…read morecontracted them to do. Was referred to A+ by another contractor. Called them spoke to Krystal one of the owners, very pleasant, very knowledgeable. The bonus was that both she and her husband are certified Arborists just what I needed. Living in an EXTREMELY DIFFICULT HOA "RIVER SEA PLANTATION" regarding rules to remove trees it was a must to have a professional look at and give an opinion on trees marked for removal as my opinion was they were diseased with insect infestation along with being highly UNSAFE due to their proximity to the home. People around here complain about the cost of home owners insurance. Part of the inflated costs are due in part to insurers having to pay for homes damaged due to the BONEHEAD RULES by ridiculous HOAs effectively leading to catastrophic damage when trees fall on homes as a result of the uneducated moronic board members fighting residents on tree removal. When if those trees were removed it would take away one more thing to cause damage to a home not to mention the homes around the affected home. HOAs need to be class action sued by insurers when this kind of nonsensical damage happens as a result of their stupid decisions regarding tree removal. Of course the highly unethical and cheap home builders love these rules as it gives them excuses not to remove trees which saves them money. With that said the owners of A+ came to my home and saw the deplorable condition of these trees, and the immediate danger they posed to the home and the lives of my wife and I. They wrote a comprehensive professional report about these trees and we promptly removed them, as the belief by all concerned was if a storm of any category was to hit our home we would be in imminent danger of our home being totally destroyed and my wife and I possibly CRUSHED TO DEATH by falling pine trees. Apparently, these ridiculous HOAs value trees over HUMAN LIVES. A+ totally professional, stood by their word, did everything correctly, showed up on time, cleaned up the mess. I can't say enough about Krystal and her husband except to write a review and applaud them for a job well done. Anyone who lives in this area knows how difficult it is to get anyone to do what they're supposed to do. A+ is a step above all others and I highly recommend them
