The women working at the front desk were very kind, patient, and helpful with my new patient paperwork. The nurse who took my vitals made me feel very comfortable as well and kept the feeling light. Dr. Spenrath was an absolute beam of sunlight, she came in with bright eyes, a big smile, but it didn't feel overwhelming.shook my hand and introduced herself and was overall the best doctor I've ever interacted with. I came in for a basic wellness check but she still spent all the time I wanted and never rushed through me explaining trivial things. We talked about things like mental health and sexual activity and she made me feel so comfortable. Another doctor came in after her just to introduce herself because she heard I was a new patient. It was all very smooth, painless, and comfortable. Nobody made me feel or at any time did I feel socially strained, I just had the best vibes throughout my visit. After, a male nurse walked me through the packet they prepared for me and showed me the way out. I have found my doctor for life. Highly recommend Dr. Spenrath!

I never got to meet Eric Chiang himself, I only got to be seen by NP Nelly F and NP Krystal F. On…read moremy first visit (I was referred for fibromyalgia) Nelly came in the room and got a run down of my family history & also my personal medical history, instead of focusing on the initial complaint she started leaning towards arthritis. She did a quick physical and had me walk down a hallway, based on this and this alone she "field assessed" me and told me she believed I had something called Psoriatic Arthritis specifically in my hips. (My hips were never a part of my initial complaint, she claimed it was the cause because it hurt when she pressed on them, but my whole body hurts when you put pressure on it). This was without blood work or imaging being done at all. At the end of the visit she ordered blood work & had me schedule a hip injection for both sides of my hip. I went to my hip appointment expecting a hip injection (never was I told it would be a hip-bursa injection) & this being my first time having anything done I didn't know better. They did the left side under 5 minutes & I went home. At first everything was fine, I rested the 2-3 days like I was told & by day 3 & 4 I started getting horrible lower back pain that traveled up my spine & into my neck. I called the office to speak with NP Nelly or someone in her medical staff due to the pain starting after the injection that was the only new thing within the last two weeks. After a game of phone tag the person answering the phone finally told me at 3 in the afternoon Nelly had told him to tell me to go to the ER and request imaging being done. This was a Friday and the office was closed on the weekend, So Monday again I called and requested to speak to Nelly or someone on the medical staff. When I finally got a call back it was the person that calls to verify appointments, they told me they would let Nelly know what the ER said & get back to me. After not hearing a word from them for 3 days I called my PCP & scheduled an appointment with them to address the pain since Dr. Chiang's office didn't seem to care. Later that afternoon I get a call literally telling me to go to my PCP and have them order imaging. It took 3 days to get that message to me, and I had already done that on my own. After my PCP appointment I went to Chaings office to see if I could speak to him or someone in charge since I had not spoken to ANY medical staff even after requesting to have someone call me repeatedly and when I mentioned it to the person returning the calls with messages from Nelly, I was told "she's busy, she has a lot of patients" I told them that now she would have one less patient since shes too busy to care when someone is having issues from something they ordered and did. When I got there I was told Eric Chiang was unavailable. I was told to have a seat and someone would be with me shortly. A man approached me & told me to follow him. I explained what was going on & instead of being professionally and empathetic he was stand offish & defensive from the start, after going in circles and realizing he didn't care I ended the meeting. At that time I realized he never introduced himself. I asked for his name he replied "Ed" I asked if he had a last name he said "yup" when I asked if he would tell me it he said "nope". I told him I would be filing an official report and he told me "do what you have to" when I said I was now including him he said "good, have a great life". I had to call and request his last name. I tried to contact Nelly 2 times due to issues with my health no response from her at all even after specifically requesting medical staff, I contacted the office themselves and I even hand delivered a letter to the office for Dr. Eric Chiang & heard nothing. I am now proceeding with a formal complaint. I don't want anyone else to experience what I have, I am still having complications from the injection, & I received more calls to confirm appointments than I did about concerns regarding my health which is ridiculous. They also use a third party call center, not staff there.
