What a horrible experience with this office and staff. After noting my PSA levels were continuing to rise, Dr Brehm ordered a biopsy of my prostrate for 2 weeks later. The staff set it at 3 weeks. I tried to get it moved but, oh well. Dr Brehm said I have to stop taking aspirin 7 days before the procedure, and he would need written authorization from my Cardiologist to stop the aspirin. He said they would also call in an rx to be taken in advance of the procedure.
1 week away from appt date I called to see if they had gotten the authorization. They never called me back. Today, 3 days out I call again after finding out the pharmacy was never given an rx to fill. Nothing. They did nothing except waste the entire 3 weeks. Their response was simply, we will reschedule you for May 6.
Unbelievable. The incompetence of this staff has ensured that I will have to delay my departure date for obligations in Indiana. Oh, and they sent the bill to an address I have not lived at in nearly 2 years, even though I changed it on their paperwork TWICE.
Now I need to find another, hopefully competent, Urologist and staff and start over.
If I could give negative stars, I definitely would. When you see a complete breakdown of everyone on the staff, it is a direct reflection on the Dr. and his acceptance of the incompetence. I can only believe that his ability to do the biopsy would be similar to the staffs ability to handle routine tasks for scheduling appointments.
I highly recommend you stay away from this ridiculous organization. read more
