On my 4th day in the hospital he finally showed up but didn't do anything or even have much to say. I would never send anybody here.

It became engorged with blood and fluid after 2 1/2 days without draining. I called him next morning and left a message- no callback until I called the office to set up an appointment ASAP. During my examination, my ear was still extremely tender and swollen but Gentile insisted the best course of treatment was to cut the abscess with his scalpel without topical numbing cream or injections for pain. The pain as he cut it open made me scream loud enough for everyone in the building to hear. He continued to press down in the extremity sensitive parts of my swollen ear to finish packing with gauze. This Man was very condescending and cold mannered throughout the entire procedure making remarks of how if he know how unpleasant this procedure was, he would have NEVER of done it in the first place. I will never return back to this man's assistance again. I want to make certain that the only people doing any procedures on me WILL WASH THEIR HANDS AND USE STERILE GLOVES - not clean gloves (comes in a box) The nurse and all other staff was VERY amazing.

She had a complicated cataract situation in her left eye and was dreading surgery. Dr. Krishnan allayed her fears and clearly explained the procedure to be performed and the time it takes to recovery. Only necessary tests and steps were taken and my mom's surgery was performed with a lot of care with almost no pain or discomfort to her. Dr. Krishnan is an excellent surgeon with many years of training and experience. Based on my mom's experience, I would highly recommend Dr. Krishnan to anyone having problems with their vision. The post-operative process has been a great experience in itself! Dr. Krishnan himself called my mom periodically to check on how her vision has been progressing. The office staff is extremely nice and caring - thank you Michele, Sonia and Melissa. The surgery nurses, Betty and Becky were also excellent and did a great job of calming my mom's nerves before the cataract procedure. My mom uses a cane - the compact and well-designed clinic faculty helped keep her walking to a minimum and I as a caregiver found the set up very manageable. Dr. Krishnan trained at the Mayo Clinic which I had the chance to visit many years ago - a leader in health care with a tightly integrated care system. It is great to see Dr. Krishnan bring this concept into his clinic and practice in Corpus, TX. I consider my mom a lucky beneficiary of his training! Techno and marketing mumbo-jumbo and "laser this/that" has crept into eye practices everywhere, but for us there is nothing more important than receiving personalized and individualized care - especially for a complicated organ such as the human eye. My mom owes the return of her vision to Dr. Krishnan and his trained staff at the clinic. It is a wonderful feeling! Thank you, Dr. Krishnan!

I had cataract surgery with Dr. Krishnan in June 2025. After surgery, I experienced persistent…read morelight sensitivity, inflammation, poor contrast, glare, floaters, and visual disturbances that seriously affected my daily life and ability to function. For months, I was treated for uveitis and surface issues, but my vision did not meaningfully improve. During that period, one of the associate doctors told me I had "buyer's remorse." That was deeply discouraging. I was not unhappy with a purchase; I was struggling with poor functional vision after surgery and looking for help. After roughly six months of ongoing symptoms, I had to seek out my own second opinions. Another ophthalmologist identified a possible mechanical issue with the lens, and an anterior segment specialist later diagnosed UGH syndrome due to a lens haptic rubbing my iris, causing pigment erosion, along with vitreous prolapse. I am now scheduled for corrective surgery. I understand that medicine can be complex, but I wish my symptoms had been taken more seriously, that lens positioning had been evaluated more aggressively, and that I had been referred out sooner when I was not improving. I am sharing this so other patients with persistent post-surgical symptoms know to keep advocating for themselves and seek another opinion if something does not feel right.
