I order something from the 1960's. The Name of the Game. You can see the pilot on YouTube for free, (Fame is the Name of the Game (1966) |TV Movie | Tony Franciosa, Jill St. John). The quality of the disks is unwatchable. Washed out static, dim color, absolute, copy of copy of a copy of a copy. Not worth even trying to watch A total rip off. read more

For over twenty years, Loving the Classics was one of my go-to sites. Quality product at reasonable prices. However, two months ago, I was able to find an old television series, and sure enough, I found it at LTC. I've never received my purchase. Despite my attempts to contact them no one has contacted me. Of course, I will contact my bank to stop the charge, but after so many years of satisfaction with their service, LTC is not what it used to be. read more

I bought a DVD of a TV series that aired in the 1990s and is not commercially available n DVD. it was very poor quality. Even my own homemade videotape is better. read more

The set I bought was garbage. Audio out of sync with video. Video was horrible. Burned in English subtitles on an English spoken show. Ask for a refund several times... no response. Buyer beware. These guys really suck. Look them up - I'm not the only one. read more

Scam! I purchased Safe At Home DVD for my son for his birthday. It's now the 18tyh of December and nothing! Very disappointing!

I placed an order for a DVD which I couldn't find anywhere else. After a couple weeks it arrived and I played it in my Xbox. There was no audio which I found strange. I put it in my computer and, sure enough, the Audio Files section on the DVD was completely empty. They haven't responded to any emails or texts to rectify the situation. read more

I ordered a DVD, they sent a confirmation email on May 17, 2025, they charged my credit card immediately, but have not shipped the DVD. They have not replied to 2 messages I sent their customer service thru their website. I am not satisfied and will never order from them again. read more

I ordered a DVD on Thanksgiving Day 2024. I canceled it within one hour. They sent the DVD that I refused as per instructions from Leo. They have never issued me a credit and their customer service sucks. Think twice before ordering from them.! It's not the money I am owed its the principle of it. My order never arrived and it took ages to get a contact response and ask for a refund. I did eventually get a refund but had to remain persistent until they finally gave me refund. There are several titles I would love to purchase from them but am wary about getting f the order and the quality of the DVDs. Really disappointed. read more

Loving the classics is terrible, they have my money, and, my credit info, and, I have no, dvd. They don't respond to any e mail,or, phone call..you cannot even leave a message...they appear to be a front to get your money,and,are actually,a scam,with little or no return to a customer. I did not see the reviews for some reason ,before I purchased...there site looks good,and, sounds reasonable, but, they are probably a family of low grade crooks,and, know the public can't get at them....call your credit card company, they might be able to retrieve your payment....CROOKS ! read more

Placed 2 orders with this company in May 2017. Was charged right away, but dvd sets (cartoons for my grand kids) didn't ship. Sent e-mail after about 6 weeks inquiring about orders. Reply stated these were out of stock, but would ship soon. Waited another 2 months (still not received) then sent e-mail inquiry again. Reply received EXACTLY word for word as previously received. Bigger issues in life, so I put off for later; asked again about orders about 2 months later, as Christmas was nearing. No reply ever received! Do not waste your time with this company! I waited 3 months to get my order of DVDs. Their customer service is nonexistent. They never replied to multiple inquires about my order. They only apologized just before the order was sent, but as other customers have had similar experiences, I can't raise their review more than a single star. horrible!!! first of all.... after my order my credit c ard was compromised. then took four months of me calling and emailing to finally get my order. the quality was horrible and the series was done so poorly that. half of the follwing movie ended up on each disc. i found a company that not only delivers in a few days but includes a free gift movie with each order. and if there is a problem you do not have to return. they send u a replacement right away. shame on loving yhe classics. i thought i found my lifetime movie place but they done me so wrong. less than one star!!! read more

Loving the Classics is a scam. I placed 3 orders in the last year. I have received nothing. Email queries are not answered, nobody ever answers the phone and there is no way to leave voice mail. I ordered a DVD, last month and still do not have it, and it is very strange that after placing my order (and I used a credit card) that my same card got hacked, and there were charges made on it for over a thousand dollars. I am not saying they did it but it sure is strange that after using the card for the DVD my card got hit. Stay away from this outfit, shop somewhere else for your DVD's. read more

It took 10 weeks to get the one DVD I ordered. The company had my money and I had nothing ... for 10 weeks! The DVD I finally received is defective. It has a glitch where there is only static for some 30 seconds. I would never order from this company again. read more

What started out as a possible link to some forgotten classics has now become an impossible and frustrating venture. Several of the films I've purchased are well below acceptable quality, which I half-expected based on the subjects...but that was OK as long as they were the only prints available. My biggest gripe is that there's NO customer service. I ordered two DVDs months ago, my CC was charged and yet no DVDs have arrived. Countless emails have gone unanswered so there's no recourse. No phone number is available and no amount of emails has gotten me any response. Be warned!!! read more

should be no stars - has taken over 9 (nine!) months to get one lousy disc (admittedly it's a set of 17 - I only received 16 discs - disc 10 is MISSING) - it ORIGINALLY took 3 months to get most (16) of the set, and have been jerked around with apologetic emails that promise action - additional over 9 months - still have not received the disc 10 of the set. Won't be ordering anything else from them - ever! The set was the TV show Thriller (Boris Karloff Host) - and the one episode I REALLY WANT is on, you guessed it- Disc 10. I finally reached someone who purports to be with customer service (Mickey) but they (seems like several different people) can't seem to get any action - what a crappy way to run a business! read more

This is a mom and pop outfit way in over their heads. Although they have an excellent choice of hard to get films the problem is getting those films. Often they are out of stock and it's difficult to get a refund. Other times, most times, it takes forever to get your order. Foolishly, I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt but after 4 orders that took me over a year to get -- and I still didn't get all the films -- I cannot recommend them to anyone for any reason. And to accomplish that end required a great deal of effort on my part in writing multiple emails. Additionally, I'm not sure that their "public domain" movies are legal. I'm surprised that the major studios haven't investigated them and shut them down. You might be one of the lucky people who don't encounter a problem and get your films in a timely manner -- I ordered one with express shipping but didn't get it until many months later -- but I beseech you to save yourself a potentially frustrating and unhappy experience that will leave you without the film you want and cash poorer. read more

I ordered 5 series in april ist order on 4/6 and the 2nd order on 4/22 I just received 1 of the 5 on 9/21 they did refund part of my payment. in the 5 months I have sent 5 emails to them and 2 calls with no answer until about a month ago they said they would refund part of my money and ship part of my order it took another month to get it needless to say I will never order from them again read more

I have always received my movies. One time I received one smashed by the post office and they shipped me a new one with no extra cost. They used to be slow, but they did deliver. Now they seem much faster. read more

I've done a lot of ordering from Loving the Classics. They have a great catalog, but their responsiveness to emails and the amount of time it takes to ship things can vary a LOT. I've received movies 5 days after ordering them and I've received movies 10 months after ordering them. Things seem to be on the upswing for the time being, but just a warning that with this company patience is a virtue! read more

I love to shop on this website as this is the best which provide great discounts to their customers. I ordered 5 DVDs and 3 Blu-rays, i had pay very less amount for that .
