GameStop, what can be said about you that probably hasn't been said already...? No seriously, I'm really wondering. This location is near and dear to myself, and probably the many young military types that call LRAFB home. It's your standard issue GameStop, and as such has the standard issue game store fare. I come here for the occasional XO title, but as of late I've also been on the hunt for Pop! collectibles. This GameStop location has yet to disappoint with its availability and its ability to order them to the store. Which leads me to the service. I've never had an issue and the employees have always been cordial. Maybe it's the random times of day that I stop in, or maybe it's the fact that they're pretty consistent. I think more the latter, but that's just me. All and all this location has it down. Myself and others make it easy for them. It's because we like to shop here, and maybe because they make it easy for us as well. read more

Stood in line for the Xbox series x, I was the 7th person there. One of the workers came outside and announced they were going to sell 5 of the Xbox series x in the store. Every time someone was going to buy it they would unlock the door to get it out. So far 4 came out. The others ahead bought a game. They told me they sold the last one. I ended up calling corporate, they told me I would receive a call from them in 24 hours. Never heard back.. very disappointed and unprofessional. I don't know how an x box would magically disappear. Normally I love Gamestop. Normally I'm not spiteful enough to leave a negative review, but in cases when the consumer is mistreated, lied to, and has more than one bad experience, it needs to be recorded to hopefully save others the trouble in the future. I know from working retail that companies push certain products and services that have large profit margins. Gamestop pushes "game protection," strategy guides, and preorders. I was conned into getting a collector's addition strategy guide because they claimed there were DLC codes on the inside I could "redeem" they then said they didn't even know what it was but they heard it was pretty great. It was only a code for the digital version of the guide, something that is advertised by Prima themselves. So sure, shame on me for trusting a Gamestop employee when I've never had someone at GS use that shady of a sales tactic in the 15 years I've been shopping there. The second incident was when I took advantage of a "buy 2 used, get 1 free*" *of equal or lesser value. I tried to return the free game within a couple of days and I was refused the return. I know for a fact that I've done this at other Gamestop stores, stipulation: it had to be of equal or lesser value, but once I was even able to pay the difference for a more expensive "free game." This employee was rude and then had the audacity to tell me I can trade it back to the store for $8 (It had a value of $45). I really don't like being given the "tough ****" attitude when it can be done. I don't know if it was laziness, that employee didn't know how to do it, or if the policy changed, but whatever happened to the "customer is always right?" I reiterate, I like Gamestop as a whole, but you should seriously just pass up this Gamestop. read more

I've been coming to this location for almost 8 years now. They've had their ups and downs with employees, but right now the Crew is top notch! Whenever I ask a question, they're always helpful, even if it's something they don't know about, they'll tell you. They recognize repeat customers and make sure to let you know of deals they have going, or rewards that you have on your account that you may not know about. We can only hope this is one of the stores being closed. The staff are rude and condescending, treat you like your an idiot that knows nothing of gaming and then wants you to purchase some rediculous bundle full of crap you wont use. I wont be stepping foot into another game stop due to my experience at this one. There are better locally owned store around. read more

Great place to buy games I have shopped there for years. Great staff. Never had anyone be rude. Always helpful and friendly. The only bad thing I can say is. They never hire me lol. Would be a great place to work read more

I can only be blunt..... I have been to other gamestop locations that aren't as rude as this Jacksonville location. I seriously drive from Cabot to Southwest LR to where there are blk n brown employees who treat their customers a lot better and know something about what they are selling. My last experience really pissed me off to the fullest. The guy tells me I couldn't return my electronic item cause it was over 7days, I'm like dude are you serious, I wanna speak to your DM cause the return policy is 30 days not 7 days for electronics. I guess he got scared and as I was about to exit the door, he stopped me and returned the electronics and I was going to head to another store and return it. But this is why I don't come to Jacksonville,Ar store any more, I will literally pass this store and drive to another one and deal with employees who know their policy and know how to treat and respect ppl. In my personal opinion, this location needs to have a darker shade of ppl working in it cause they tend to follow the policy and be honest with you. I'm not a dark color person, but damn this is getting ridiculous and out of hand, GAME STOP needs undercover boss seriously in Jacksonville Ar and reimburse me for gas. They also have the audacity to talk to you like your beneath them or stupid with shit on you. .... lately Game Exchange in Lakewood has been getting my business and they are very polite and will even call you and answer the phone about anything nor when your shipment has arrived. read more
