We interviewed a few companies to assist us and Graceful Hearts was our pick. They were available on very short notice and were a true lifesaver for my Grandfather and our family. We were in need of 24 hour care and between 2 caregivers, Raul and Jim, my Grandfather was in great hands. These two men were amazing. They took such great care of him up until his final moments of life. He grew a bond with each of them and we will be forever grateful for their time, care and compassion. It's terrible to have to see a loved one get dealt the terrible news my Grandfather was given and watch as they go down hill, but it helps so much to have that loved one surrounded by people who care for them with such compassion. I found Mark at the California State Department of Aging site. Within a DAY, ALLWAYS took action and care was immediate. Mark & team has helped our family immensely. I don't know how I could have given my Mom the care we received, if it weren't for Jackie, her caregiver. She was also very instrumental in "transitioning" my Mom in a way that she was more open to assisted living and care than ever before. Jackie's compassion, attention to detail, experience and professionalism turned my Mom's caregiver into a trusted friend. Jackie tag teamed with me to guide my Mom and educate her so that she herself, independently, made the right decision for herself. She was not only my Mom's "right hand" person--but mine as well. She is now going to move into a wonderful facility (I was referred to a great "broker" from Mark, too) and her worries are over. She is no longer afraid to be alone at night, and has someone within her reach in minutes. I don't know how we could have done all of this, and as fast as we had to, if ALLWAYS wasn't there as our partner. Thank you!

My uncle's physician at UCI (who was the attending physician) actually recommended this company to…read moreus when my uncle was going into Hospice. She had used them for one of her own family members, and had a great experience. My initial experience with Cheri was very good, they were very responsive to my initial call, and were able to meet with me at a time convenient for me, very considerate of my time limitations with all that was going on at the time. The day my uncle came home, they were right there waiting and willing to help. Over the next 2 1/2 weeks he was home, the caretakers were very loving and attentive. He lived alone, so often it was just him, and the caretakers. For his safety, I had cameras installed, and reviewed them often when I was not able to be there. This is how I know how well they treated him and cared for him. I could see how they took care of him, even when they were alone. And he was lucid, so if something wasn't right, he could tell me. He adored them though, and was very appreciative for their kindness and care. I will mention that there was one caretaker in the beginning that my uncle just didn't seem to click with, so we asked for a replacement and it was granted immediately. As for the management for Circle of Care, Cheri and Genalyn, they were very attentive and always responded quickly with any questions or needs we had. I see now why this company was so highly recommended by my uncle's doctor at UCI. If I had to do it over again, I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Lastly--Special shout out to the 2 caretakers who spent the most time with my uncle, Mila and AJ. Thank you both for treating my uncle like family.
