He definitely needed a wash, and I found Shaggy2swaggypets on a whim. Honestly, Bear gets groomed every week, and he has never been this clean from just a bath and groom. My wife immediately noticed and wants me to bring him back anytime I'm in Riverside. He's received so many compliments since his wash that I can only imagine how great they are with their other services. Casey greeted us and was incredibly hospitable. My son brought our Bernadoodle in to be groomed, and they convinced him that he was matted and required a summer cut. My son reluctantly agreed, and they completely shaved him. To do a summer cut requires no finesse in grooming, and they charged me $189 for a cut that took less than 15 minutes that is no different than a farmer shearing his lambs. Here is a picture of what matted hair looks like, and pictures of my dog before his summer cut. If you look at his summer cut, check out his ears and tail, you can see they did take the time to brush out. Which means they were too lazy to accommodate us. I also pointed out to them that when I brought him there last year, they were accommodating to my request of a trim and could pull up the record on their system. They made the excuse that they couldn't do it because their system was in transaction mode. I question their integrity because they used to list the prices of the services they provided. Now they can subjectively name their prices. I expressed my concerns, and this group of employees quickly dismissed me, saying my pet was a big dog, therefore it cost more, no bigger than my Huskies, which I paid far less for grooming. If you have experienced this type of customer service, stand your ground and demand that they meet your needs/desires for your pet's grooming. What happened to that friendly family atmosphere?

If you are looking for a caring and responsible person who gives your baby all the attention and love you want them to have... a person who's actions can give you peace of mind and ease your guilt... Val is the right person! This was a huge decision for us to hire someone to come into our home (stay) and take care of our boy we were in Hawaii... and it was not taken lightly. This was a little scary and first for us! It was going to take a lot of trust in whoever we hire that they would take great care of our Buddy... but, also that we could trust them in our home while we were away. It was extremely important to us that Buddy was comfortable in HIS home feeling secure, safe, cared for, loved and not abandoned... this is exactly what Val gave us and Buddy! We did our research and read almost every review. Obviously, searched and read about many pet sitters but we kept going back to Val. We made arrangements to for Val to come over and meet our boy and us. Buddy is a little cautious around people, but Val was very warm, patient and engaging with Buddy and he warmed up right away. Val asked a lot of questions in regards to what Buddy's and our needs are... what were our expectations. It was a very comfortable meeting and we knew before she left that Valerie is who we wanted for our Buddy. It turned out to be the best decision we ever made in regards to Buddy's care. Val was very flexible and even came over early the day we left so we could all hangout together for a couple of hours prior to our leaving... that way Buddy wouldn't be anxious or feel abandoned. While we were gone Val would text me... sending us pictures and videos daily of Buddy. We could see by his actions and how he cuddled up next to Val... we could see how great our decision was. Val always encouraged us to text her and responded right away. Val kept daily track/records of Buddy's walks, his medication intake, his eating amounts and anything else she felt we might want to know. Buddy is 9 years old and this was the first vacation that we've taken without him that we didn't feel guilty and had total peace of mind. Obviously, Valerie is our girl when it comes to our precious Buddy... without hesitation. If you are in a similar situation and need a responsible person who will take great care of your fur baby... Everything went so well she was in minimal discomfort after surgery, her incision healed beautifully.The cherry on top of the experience is the over 1000 dollars I saved by bringing her here instead of the local Vet that quoted me a starting price of 1300 dollars because she is a brachiocephalic breed and could have gone up because they said if challenges arose they could not guarantee the price.
