When my sister had her bachelorette party my other sister and I decided that we needed to 1. Draw lots of attention to her since it was her night and 2. Humiliate her (in the nicest possible way, of course) for our own entertainment. Because that's how we roll in my family...hahaha. Loveworks is where we headed to get our plan started. Loveworks is a small adult store located in a strip mall in Lafayette. They sell all of the things you might expect for an adult store which I *ahem* am sure I don't need to go into too much detail about. They also have a nice assortment of bachelorette party supplies, novelties and gifts. Loveworks doesn't feel "seedy" like some stores like this do. The employes were helpful and professional and didn't kick us out when we nearly fell on the floor laughing at some of the merchandise that made us giggle hysterically. I will not shop at Love Works anymore. We bought an "adult novelty" there for $70. I decided the cheap ones didn't last and we hated the use of batteries. Within 10 days the device failed. No power, nothing. I went to the store expecting to trade the item in for another like it, but was told they only have a 72 hour return window. Our $70 got me an "I'm sorry", and nothing more. This company buys cheap products, sells them at premium prices, and 72 hours is not enough time to warranty an expensive product. I was not offered any kind of compensation, nor did the employee attempt to make me happy in any way. Poor customer service, no product warranty, cheap products at premium prices. I recommend you stay away from this store. read more
