I even told him that we are awkward in front of the camera and Mikhail not only helped us pose but he made us feel so comfortable and confident. We received A TON photos and in a timely fashion. The editing was amazing and perfect on every single one. I was so appreciative of how friendly, kind, and amazing Mikhail was. It made my wedding day that much more amazing. I truly feel honored to be photographed by such a talented man. I could not recommend Zatonsky Moments more. He truly will make all your dreams come true.

This review took me quite a while to write. It was difficult to put into words what this team did…read morefor my wedding. It was pure magic, that's the only way to describe it. The Zatonsky Team was a blessing to have at our Wedding. I think I came across Mikhail and Kate's profile by pure luck to be honest, I saw their work, wasn't sure if I could afford it, but I took a chance and reached out. I was responded to immediately, and they set up a day where we could go on a video call. The day of the call, I was greeted with such kindness and they asked about what my vision was, what was important to me, and wanted to get to know me and my future husband. I remember feeling so relieved, and so secure after getting to speak to them, I knew I was in good hands. Everything from then on was at my pace, it was effortless, they worked with my budget, they worked around my theme, they were like a group of friends that were in the trenches with you while you were planning everything for the big day. And that meant so much to me. The day of wedding comes, and I will be honest, I was not too confident in my physical appearance at the time, but Kate and Mikhail and their team made me feel like I was the most beautiful bride in the world, and that helped me so much that day, I will always remember that feeling. Having their team at the wedding, was like having family there, family that cared so much that you have the best day possible because they care. We had so much fun with them and honestly, we had to give them all such big hugs after everything was over, because we had so much love and gratitude for them. They were like family to us. Now for the process, we got our sneak peeks of the photos within a few days while on our honeymoon and honestly, we were swooning at the incredible photos. Their work was impeccable. We received our wedding videos a week later. The wedding was beautiful, but it's true what they say, it goes by so quickly that once it's over you want to do it all over again. But that's why having the Zatonsky Group on our team was such a blessing. Immediately, once we received our videos, my husband and I felt exactly how we felt the day of the wedding, we felt all the love, all the joy, every emotion we felt that day all over again. Couldn't help but cry, tears of joy, because of this amazing gift they had given us...a way to relive that moment over and over again. Thank you to the Zatonsky Team, if I ever had a do-over and had an unlimited budget, I would have hired you all 100 lifetimes over. Thank you for all the love and care you put into our big day, thank you for bringing to fruition the vision we had for that day, thank you for being part of our family for that whole occasion. So much love to you and your team, we look forward to working with you again on any occasion! - The Carvajals

I am writing this 1-star review in an attempt to reach the owner of Dreamwood, as I have a signed…read morecontract with them to photograph and film my upcoming wedding, and I have not received a response from their team in over 50 days despite multiple emails and an attempted phone call. I have seen the owner respond to reviews here, so I am hoping this finally reaches someone who can help. Before explaining what has happened, I want to preface this by saying that I have remained extremely polite and professional throughout this entire process. I understand that wedding season is busy, timelines can shift, and editing takes time. I have tried to give the team every grace possible and have only asked for what was promised in our contract. Here is the timeline of the correspondence: * May 10: Received my engagement gallery with 83 edited photos, despite my contract including 100+ edited photos. * May 11: Expressed appreciation of the engagement photo work but asked if I could review the raw gallery and select additional images to be edited (I felt that was fair since I only received 83). The team was kind in their response and agreed. * May 19: Submitted 23 additional images for editing. * May 20: Received confirmation that my selections had been received and editing would begin. * June 12: Followed up to ask for an estimated timeline after hearing nothing for over three weeks. * June 15: Was told the updated gallery would be delivered "within the next 7 days." * June 22: The promised timeline passed with no additional photos and no communication. * July 9: Sent a follow-up email, explaining I understood it was wedding season and simply requested an update. No response. * July 23: Sent another follow-up, explaining that while I understood delays, communication was especially important since Dreamwood is also photographing and filming our wedding. No response. * July 30: Sent a detailed email to management documenting the timeline and requesting (1) the status of my engagement photos, (2) confirmation that the contracted 100+ edited photos would be delivered, and (3) a clear point of contact moving forward. I requested a response by August 5. * August 6: Still no response. I also called the phone number listed on Dreamwood's website, but it went straight to voicemail, and the mailbox was full, so I couldn't even leave a message. At this point, my biggest concern is no longer the engagement photos. It is that I have an active contract with Dreamwood to photograph and film one of the most important days of my life, yet I cannot get a response from anyone on their team. Every couple gets one wedding day. The moments Dreamwood was hired to capture cannot be recreated, which is why communication and reliability matter just as much as beautiful photographs. I have given the Dreamwood team over 50 days to respond but now I have lost confidence that they will be able to fulfill our wedding contract. And if anyone is wondering, the email communication has 8 people on it, so even if my main point of contact is no longer with the company, there are 7 other people who could respond. I also sent my last email to their main email address on their website, which again, received no response. At this point, I simply want my deposit refunded so that I can find another photographer and videographer who will communicate with us and give us confidence going into our wedding day. I am requesting that the owner of Dreamwood reach out to me.

All of the weddings she photographed had this same great quality to them, as if you could feel the happiness/anticipation of the couples just from looking at them. Fast forward a couple of years, and you can imagine how thrilled I was when I got the news that she was available to shoot my small wedding! Her pictures came out even more beautiful than we imagined. Heidi was able to capture something in us that we will forever cherish. If I ever have the chance again, I would love for her to photograph any other significant event in my life, because I know I will absolutely ADORE the photos. I cant count how many times I have received compliments from people who have seen the photos. Also, she was really cool too, I usually feel self conscious when taking photos and her demeanor totally put us at ease. Would TOTALLY recommend!

When we contacted Heidi a little after our wedding to see if we could instead use our deposit for maternity pictures she said we would need to give her another $250 deposit. Outrageous! Nobody in their right mind would use a photographer who would not honor their client's original deposit. Don't let the family friendly / down-to-earth façade of her blog fool you....Heidi is all about bottom lines. As a self proclaimed "wife & mom", Heidi should understand that life happens and sometimes, we are not able to make time for a photo session especially in the midst of an important event...like a wedding. If you are looking for a photographer with a high level of integrity and goodwill, Heidi is not that person. There are so many other photographers who are far more talented but more importantly, honest and accommodating.

She is super good and strict with the bridal party which is what you need on your special day, trust me. She makes the bridal party aware of each step. I really liked working with her. She is very professional. when I was about to leave to go to the church for my wedding, my cousin busted out of her dress because she didn't get it altered correctly and didn't try it afterwards. My cousin ripped out of her dress all the way up from the hip to the breast, no joke. This was in five minutes before me leaving. Luckily, this happened in front of Jonah who said get out the door I can arrange transportation for your cousin and I also have fabric tape and can sow. When my cousin showed up on time, she looked good. My reception was absolutely gorgeous because of her. I noticed all the small details, I asked her to do... I didn't think it would be able to get done, because they're so delicate. Jonah, if you're reading this, please note that I saw that and really did smile. Thank you. Surprisingly, this girl even had time to decorate my honeymoon suite with roast petals, in the shape of the heart on the bed. She made a little trail from the door to the bed. She hung my naughty lingerie in the bathroom door. Waiting for me when I got back to the hotel room. Jonah was always on call for us even late night hours she was adaptable. She was really good at coordinating and wrapping everything up at the end of the night. This made everything so simple and really took the load off the bridal party that is always running around that day. If you're really really special to have had her for my wedding day and don't know how I would have did it without her. I only had her for a month and a half.. she ended up cutting me a deal because I had my vendors in place. But my vendors ended up being a pain in the butt. She probably wouldn't recommend that you find your own. Let her help you. I'm really really grateful for her. She seriously really helped me. I'm a professional with an MBA And thought I can handle this on my own. Jonah did by far the best job I have ever seen. If you are smart enough to hire her. Do at least six months in advanced. Reasonably priced for the amount of work that she does. Overall, she will be the best investment for your wedding. Will recommend and refer to anyone.
