We stopped here to grab a few snacks before my uncle's birthday BBQ on June 29, 2025…read more This is the nicest and largest Kent Kwik I have ever been to. The women's restroom was pretty swanky for a convenience shop... very clean and not the coffin trapping doors like in older bathrooms. Purse hooks are a go! If the line is long for checking out, there are a couple of self checkouts for us Millennials. I have throw this out there... I find it quite humorous that Baby Boomers talk so much smack about "why do I have to check myself out? Do I get to claim this on my taxes?" I get it and I am annoyed by these comments at the same time. My youngest daughter noticed that the snack sections were lit up. While Texas schools are requiring teachers to remove their mini fridges and microwaves from their classrooms, quick shops are adding even more lights. They got it all: An abundance of fuel pumps. Big rig section. Car wash. A full-service deli. Even a drive-thru. Not a smile, not a good morning, NOTHING, she was blunt and unfriendly. I get it, the truck is loud, but she yelled at us for everything. Extremely rude customer service for inspection. Will NOT be coming back here and I will most definitely not recommend this location to others.

I can verify when this one was built and opened, but the area looks newer, so it doesn't look like it's been too long. Fuel stations are the same as the others, in a straight line and facing the front of the store. Parking lot was still clean, I wasn't stepping in week old fuel stains when getting the fuel. Inside was nice. It's the QT Kitchen layout, with has the cash registers centered in the store with the kitchen right behind it where you can get hot foods or order your own items, be it sandwiches, chicken items, or pizzas. They still have the hot dog rollers, which were a bit depleted when we stopped in before lunch. For a cleaner fueling stop, this is the place to go.

Needed to be careful not to damage tire since it was completely down. Had AAA tow the vehicle from the hotel to Forrest since it was open the earliest in the area. Was so impressed that they took me right in and repaired (patched) the tire and had us on our way in 30 minutes. They could have tried to make me buy a new tire or even 2. Maybe it is because we live in LA and are used to folks trying to rip everyone off. It was so refreshing to see honest and nice people helping us out. If we lived in the area, I would definitely be doing business with them. Thank you guys once again.
