Poor communication and service. I would not trust this business with any vehicle…read more We took our RAM ProMaster camper van to Arkansas Automotive twice. We live full-time in our vehicle, so reliability is critical, and the owner was aware of our situation. Our first visit was for a transmission fluid change. When we got the van back, the transmission pan seal had been installed incorrectly and was leaking. We returned, and the owner told us the transmission needed to be replaced, along with the rear main seal. Based on that, we agreed to both repairs. After a week of delays and poor communication, we got the van back. They refused to provide photos of the work. We inspected it ourselves and found the rear main seal was still leaking, the pinch weld was bent, and the coolant reservoir hadn't been refilled. Three hours into driving, the transmission completely failed. The fluid overheated and leaked from multiple locations, leaving us stranded and needing a tow. Another mechanic found metal shavings in the transmission and a loose bolt. We are now paying a second shop to fix what Arkansas Automotive claimed was repaired. When we contacted the owner, they were dismissive, disrespectful, and refused any refund.

I told Arkansas automotive that it starts stopping on me while driving . But all these mechanics say they drove it around four or five times and it doesn't do it to them. Well hey it does it to me so I'm not lying my car goes out on me while I'm driving it . I paid over 200.00 for you all to diagnose it you said it has gasket leak oil leak . Then you said why my car was doing the stalling is because it needed oil which is not true. My car tells me when I need an oil change. And for the past week I've been going by your shop early in the morning and noon noticed my car is out front parked next to the garage door.someone picks me up for work and it seems like no one has even looked at it . My car was torn apart inside the steering wheel. I'm not happy with my service. I would like to speak to Brent James the owner. Because they really never looked at my car and it was misdiagnosed. It has a misfire I have proof now it's been going out on me while driving. And it's the second time I took my car right back to you all and I expected you guys to fix it! I feel as if you saw a woman coming and took advantage of me and just said she's a woman she doesn't know what she's talking about then charge me for not even trying to see if it's a loose wire or a loose battery cable it could be something small but simple! But no you charged me for something you never really cared for and never searched for the problem .plus communication was horrible never did the mechanic call me back about my car not did Marianne . The second time. He wasn't very honest I trusted you all .plus dino at Leo's Auto always communicated with me at all times and very honest. Your mechanic is a little shady . Not very honest. I just had my car towed to my house from you guys and he the tow guy told me that my car doesn't even run .and I have proof there too from Holcomb's tow guy and the mechanic at your shop told me if it stops running then they can see the problem but I thought the diagnosis would tell you the problem. The mechanic at your shop told me that as they left my car running and if it messes up then they can look at it and when I had my car towed here to my house the tow truck man told me it's not even starting when he picked it up and I have proof thathe said it didn't work. I have his name and he works for Holcomb's. He said I don't know what they did with it. Because now it won't start. There goes good money I paid you for expecting you to figure it out definitely not going back to this place. I'm hurt because I trusted you guys to fix my car! Not play around with it but fix it!and yes I'm a customer of yours I have proof of receipt. But I won't be back obviously you were not going to fix it. They just took the money and never did there job . Poor service. It's the mechanic I'm talking about not doing his job it could have been a simple fix but he was too busy eating.and also the other day I asked your mechanic if I could speak to Brent but he said you were on vacation and he doesn't know when you will be back. I wanted to speak with you about my car because obviously the mechanic wasn't working on it .
