They have everything from wild, local honey to wild game of several types. The staff is so very friendly and awesome too! During mild weather months (beginning in March - weather permitting) they have live local music in the evenings. They told me that they are adding more vendors to their music evenings too. Can't wait for March to come around. If you are in the area and haven't been there yet, what are you waiting for?!! It's a wonderful country store with country friendly folks. Please support local businesses like Kara's.

While the atmosphere was less than lively at 2 PM on a Wednesday, I could see this would be a great evening spot out with your friends. We kicked off with the potato wedges and OMG they were so good and the dipping sauces were so unusual, it was the perfect appetizer as we sat down starving. I had the.Peace Out bowl with grilled chicken and loved all the textures. Could've done without the pickled carrots in the bowl, that was a weird addition. Maybe would've been better as aside. My friend had the Al Pastor tacos and we enjoyed them both. Service was steady and efficient. I look forward to trying it again maybe having a cocktail or beer on my next visit.

Service was very good, no complaints. From hostess to the waiter, 5 starts…read more The food? Meh. Was ok. The birria is my go-too every where I go, tortilla, cheese, meat ratio was great, I'd even say they were very generous with meat, which I appreciated (and that's rare). The consommé was lacking, which unfortunately can make or break this dish. I perceived it was watered down to go further? Not sure, but the meat barely had the flavor as well, so not sure if this was an isolated batch issue, or just the original recipe. I could absolutely tell, the base flavor would have been good, it just reallllly needed to be more concentrated. Meat was cooked perfectly though. Rice was on point too, as a side... (and a lot of places screw up rice). I love this brand, and frequent their other establishment, so had high hopes. Recommendation for kids menu... the butter noodles... coming from a mom of several, add salt and parsley to it. Gives it a little ZIP! You had potato wedges on menu as well, maybe offer it "plain" for kids, with ketchup. I do realize it's a taco place, but parents look at kid menus before coming. When all else fails for kids, "French fries" usually work. Oh!! We sat on patio, could smell the dumpsters, if you could move them, that would be a great change. Especially in the summer heat.

Same little half restaurant half market place as T.G. The cleanliness of this place was way above T.G. I could not believe that this place was as squeaky clean as it was. Not a single fly in the house! That is much better than some of the other restaurants I eat at around town. The service was a little absent toward the end, considering I was the only customer in the joint. But my waitress was super attentive, informative, and helpful. Everything came out within a reasonable time, exactly how I ordered, and in the order I asked for it to come out. The chips and salsa were delicious. They are not to be played with, though! Not only was the salsa crazy fresh, I know this because it was steaming when it came out, but it was painfully delicious! I could not lay off of it! Serious heads up for you non-spicy peeps. The food was absolutely amazing. No other way to describe it. I started off with a "tostada de camaron" and a "tostada de ceviche". Little corn tortilla one with shrimp the other with ceviche, lime, pico de gallo, and avocado. Just WOW. Definitely a great starter! My main course was the Steak Ranchero. Definite A+!! I would post a picture of my empty plate, but I ate the plate. This place is an absolute untapped resource and it will haunt my dreams until I return to eat here again. I cannot give them my money fast enough. I will be returning here as much as possible!!
