Thus with the money I saved, I went inside for something I wanted. When on long trips as a kid, I was given a Coke (12 oz glass bottle) and a Payday. When deployed in the Army, I'd pack a few mini cans of Coke and a handful of Paydays to remind me of better times. Now days, if on a long trip, during refuel, I get a Coke and a Payday. It always makes me smile. This big Red has EVERYTHING, (fresh grapes and melon chunks, light maintenance items for your car, fried chicken to help keep your belt tight, dozens of flavors of water, pizza, donuts, chips and chips and more chips, dog food, diapers, hand sanitizer, kid toys, headache stuff, runny nose items for colds, allergies and flu, pre-made sandwiches, canned foods, ice cream upset stomach medicine and toilet paper). This location is kind of new, well maintained and CLEAN!

The clerk then rudely said "men don't know how to pee in the urinal" and I said "some employees clearly don't know how to clean the restroom". Judging by her personal hygiene, cleaning that toilet isn't at the top of her list of priorities. If only I could capture the smell via photo.

A few stoned/drunk/odd behaving people in the parking lot and at the main entrance to the Big Red. There was a guy draped over his truck's sideview mirror. There were 2 guys exchanging something for cash and then going inside a car. The parking lot was full of trash and the store interior didn't seem as clean and well organized as other locations of this chain. I could not get away from here quick enough.

I live down the street and frequent it often. They do great with the fresh made food and pastries. Always have a good selection of fountain and bottle/can drinks. Friendly staff who always keep cheer even if they're working Christmas or Thanksgiving. I've never had any problems with the gas pump. As good of a Kum & Go as any.
