They were baked or packaged on 02/09 and end of life is 02/12/2026. There are 6 of them in the container that go bad tomorrow. Why would they even sell them at full price? I will throw most of them away tomorrow night and never be able to order them again. My other complaint is that if I order 6 cans of dog food, it is because I need 6 cans, not 4. Three dogs equals 6 cans. If you can't match the order, then explain that you don't have that much. I love the service. The people are fantastic. They just need to work on a lot of small issues.

I also shop for my 95 year old mother who can in no way manage a cart so I put all the items for my self and her in one cart since I am also elderly and in no way could manage 2 carts at one time! My husband is usually accompanying me to help. He checks her items and I usually check ours - different accounts for different people but use one cart. They really use aggressive tactics when approaching you regarding this! I am no way breaking their so called rules as I don't go over 10 items at all! No sign anywhere you have to have 1 cart for each person! Really scary the way they approach you. Also witnessed them go over to a much elderly lady that was bagging her food as she went and the nasty girl ran over and proceeded to snatch her bags from her cart and just dump them back har cart tossed the bags aside suspended her order and told her to go to another register. So sad since the majority of people that shop there are elderly and should never ever be treated this way!!

I bought several food items and a newspaper....the food was fresh (NOT outdated) and was priced very reasonable. I would go out of my way and pay a little more for friendly service and good food. Lucky for me R & R had a laudry mat...where I refreshed my clothing supply. Ya can't beat it....good food, hot coffee, friendly people and laundry facilities...all in one place. Oh yeah...I got good advice from patrons...who warned me to avoid other neighboring services stations, restuarants ect. GOOD job R&R.....I'll be back in the Fall of 2014 when I once again travel the wide open spaces of Texas.

Prices were decent, less than $15 for my meal (there were upcharges for some items). I enjoyed my meal and found it pretty filling. The soup was nice and warm and had a pretty good seafood flavor. The salad was fresh and was nicely dressed. I was pleasantly surprised by Newk's and glad we stopped in. It's nothing mind blowing but definitely hit the spot on a long, rainy drive. The best for me is Whataburger in Lufkin. The hamburger was loaded with other things besides just the meat which were all fresh and delicious and the portion was good for just the traditional burger. The service also was very friendly, especially compared to some of the other places at Freddy's and McDonald's I had the deluxe burger shoved in a bag sideways so I took it out of the bag. Everything spilled all over the place and made a real mess. I will definitely come back to Whataburger!
