MUST READ‼‼ I came to this place after 0130 in morning after…read moredriving 11 hours. I was exhausted and just wanted to shower and sleep. I get there and ring the doorbell. Out comes a old lady in a robe. Very strange lady at that. She checks me into the room and I pay my 58 bucks. I walk in and I immediately feel dirty, but it wasn't horrible when not looking close up. I get all of my belongings and food from my truck and take a shower. Huge pubic hair on wall. Gross but whatever. They had an outlet in bathroom that they tried to cover with what looked like putty so people wouldn't use it. Huge safety hazard. Whatever..... I'm tired. Shower was not too bad minus the gross hair. As I pull the blankets down I see several small roaches scatter. I couldn't believe it. This was only pulling comforter down. The sheets were still pulled up. I had to do it people, I pulled the sheets down and boom! I took pictures as you will see. I called the office. Old lady comes in and demands I show her where the roaches are. Of course they ran away, but I had the pictures! I show her and she says that that is not the hotels comforter!!!! Really? It matches my picture wth?!?! So then I show her the blood spots and dead bugs smashed in the sheets. She had nothing to say so she just walks out of the room and went back into the office. By now it is after 0230 in morning. As she walked out of the room she stated exactly this " You did what you wanted here and now you want to leave because you just wanted to shower." I'm left there standing like what do I do now? I pack my stuff up and load my truck. I go to office and ring bell..... then I ring bell again..... really? Oh wait, here she comes and she has her old man with her!!!! She opens the door and the husband lays into me. He yells " I don't know what kind of games your playing little girl but you need to leave now" he then states I planted the roaches in the bed all for a free shower at 0130 in the morning! I'm traveling from Colorado to Mississippi as travel nurse. I tell this to these two crazy people. They called me mean, they told me get out, I'm a liar, blah blah. Needless to say, I finally got my refund when they knew they weren't going to push me around. It was horrible. I ended up sleeping in my car at a rest stop. Put myself in danger. What a joke. Please stay away, especially those with kids. It's disgusting. I'll post if I don't end up with my refund.

I was heading south and didn't really need a bathroom break but I thought stretching legs and soaking up the dessert in the area seemed like a great idea. There was only 1 other car on this side of the highway so I almost had the area to my self. It was a nice view out the front side. I could look across to the sister location on the other side of the road and see the people milling about over there. I walked around back and saw the dessert quite flat there. It went to the infinity of the horizon. I had to take a couple pictures. It was a peaceful spot considering it wasn't too far off the highway. I didn't stay for too long, but it was a welcome spot in the middle of no where to shake off the road dust.

The parking lot is RV friendly and it's an easy circle pull around so if you missed that perfect Gucci parking just go around and grab that perfect spot! With the roof vent open and the windows cracked, I had a good nap here before visiting the rest room and then continuing onwards. One small deficiency is that it is right next to the train line and even without the horns, those trains make a lot of noise. I have to imagine it would be much worse at night. In retrospect, we would have been better off just pulling off on the shoulder and engaging in a little "drown the fire ants." Still, we would not have seen that cool rattlesnake warning sign. Or enjoyed the wonderment: if you smell that much poop in a short period of time, what are the chances you can absorb Hep-A through your sinus tissues? Well, it is what it is. Don't drink so much water next time, or try to go when you stop at Arby's. Yeah, I know, I don't admit I occasionally stop at Arby's too, when I'm road tripping. I won't tell if you don't.

I stayed here for three months, so I had a few requests during that time, and they were always addressed quickly and professionally. The complimentary breakfast is another highlight. There is a good variety of options, including fresh coffee, cheese omelets, pancakes, fruit, and other breakfast favorites.
