I reported the spill to the employee on duty and spoke with the manager the next morning. The store manager in turn emailed her district manager. I have spoken with the store manager several times and as far as I can tell, she has had NO response from her district manager. I was simply wanting a refund on the spilled gasoline. I refuse to shop this store any longer even though it is by far the closest store to my home. My husband has a lawn care business and he no longer purchases his gasoline there either. It's too bad that customer service is nonexistent at this store.

We walked out and headed west and stopped at te 24/7 Travel Store. The 24/7 Travel Store has restrooms that were very clean and a very well stocked c-store. AND - their cold beveage selection was indeed cold. This site was a welcome site for us after a long day in the car. We were hot, tired and thirsty and found welcome relief here. The staff was personable and efficent - very nice. I would highly recommend the 24/& Travel Store.

That being said, I tend to hold them to a somewhat higher standard than your run of the mill gas station. This location in Hays I found to be a-okay. It wasn't the cleanest or the best Caseys, but it got the job done and was a fine stop for our journey.

The cashier informed me I would get a refund in 48 hours. Later I went into the store on 09/05/24 and had several items that I was buying and while I was paying for the items the same cashier was ringing up my items that was there on 09/03/24. I mentioned to him that I never got my refund placed back on my card and he kept on insisting it was yesterday and that he wasn't here two days ago. I told him it had been two days ago then told me that I needed to call my bank and I was just gonna let it go but he told me "you need to leave" that he has the right to refuse to serve me. I demanded that he call the police. The police then told me that I need to leave. Just because I told the cashier I never got my refund.

Skip this place. I miscalculated my mpg's vs fuel remaining while hauling a trailer with the…read morenorthern wind and was forced to stop. For one thing their prices are about $0.20 higher per gallon than the going rate. Second, the first pump I used only dripped out maybe a gallon every 10 minutes...so when I noticed after changing a kid's diaper that I only had 0.53 gallons I had to stop it and go to a different one (that was still pretty slow). Aggravating. I was thirsty but didn't want to give this company a dollar more so I didn't even go in the convenience store portion. Bathrooms are below average. Bottomline: get gas in Salina or Russell so you don't need to be here.
