It seems a pity that this place is not likely to enjoy much commercial success, being tucked away beside a carwash in the parking lot of the Hobbies of Asia complex on Macapagal Boulevard. In fact, its sister establishment Bradlex Coffee House will probably catch your eye long before you see Loverocks. Still, the latter is definitely worth a visit, especially if you're a burger fan who like them big, juicy, flame-grilled and inexpensive.
Inexpensive truly is the name of the game here, with even the most-expensive offerings (the Angus and blue cheese variants) going for less than PhP200. In fact, the Big Burger Lover is a steal at just P125, and it comes fresh and definitely far from overdone. Cheese is a P10 extra, and well-worth it at the price.
Ambience-wise, Loverocks is far from fancy. Four tables on the outside (smoking allowed) are all the seating available, although you can choose to stay inside Bradlex should you prefer air-conditioning to the sometimes-smoky/dusty atmosphere of the road. You can even choose to mix and match orders with the food of Bradlex, should you want more than just a burger. The toilet is small but clean. Since the place is in a parking lot, finding a slot for your vehicle should prove no problem. read more
