i have been with savers drugmart along time. generally they have always been great with me. but…read moresince i turned 65 they treat me like im 80 an senile (no offense) they change things without telling or explaining anything to you. i got royally rimmed out by the pharmacist guy for ordering to much in a month! now my doctor perscribes pain meds to me and all of a sudden they treat me like an addict off the street (im 69 now) never have i been treated so ..i cant even think of a word for it. i have no car so i get delivery and thats when i get reemed for ordering to often. i told the pharmacist that not all my meds run out at the same time! (sheesh) if i didnt have to count on delivery i would get it myself to avoid the constant reeming out i love this pharmacy but dont know how much more i can take.

When we all left, I needed to get some Diet Coke. It was on sale at Shoppers Drug Mart (SDM). Luckily, this store was five minutes away by car. I drove over here. It was open till midnight. I had roughly an hour to shop. Yay! What's funny is that it's in the same plaza as Arby's. It's my closest Arby's that I frequent regularly. Have I ever been to this drugstore? I don't recall. Anyway, there were a few cars in the parking lot. I pulled into a spot and walked in. I like that this store is set up like most SDMs. I quickly found the pop section near the chips and grabbed what I needed. There were baked goods on sale. I was too full from the potluck to contemplate buying some! There was one human at the checkout area helping someone out. I decided to use the self-checkout kiosk. I had no problem scanning my items. What was different with all kiosks here is that each one has an extra screen with a camera that shows your face. I scanned my PC Optimum barcode off my phone. I then paid with a debit card. Done! It was such a smooth purchase. I was happy getting what I needed at the eleventh hour. I placed my items in my car and drove home. I had a great experience here. Usually these are just a small section. For the washroom,  a staff member must unlock a door and let you in. There is a Canada Post in one corner of the store. I bought lottery tickets here. The service was as expected. There is free WiFi. The store is wheelchair accessible. There is one gender-neutral washroom and it is wheelchair accessible. Incompetent pharmacy staff, abysmal customer service. I have advised them of this and provided the updated number *so many times* yet everyone I have spoken to just shrugs and no one will take the initiative or responsibility to update their system to correct or prevent a simple mistake. This happens with EVERY REPEAT. I have been trying to get a refill on my meds for a month now , and when I called today for an update ,the person I spoke to was dismissive, in a hurry to end the calL and impatient when I asked them to confirm the fax number they were sending to . She talked over me , insisting that this was just how their system worked and could not be updated. I called my drs office- this is the ONLY shoppers location where this is an issue. They just dont care enough to fix it.

She matched some to my hair colour and advised me on how to use them. I chose 2 of her recommendations. Later in that same trip I spoke to Joanna who showed me where the teeth bleaching products were. She advised me on how to use them and that a customer who was a dental hygienist told her that the Life Brand one was great. She then helped me cash out and gave me some free samples. These ladies really helped me to get my shopping done faster and made my day with their kindness and knowledgeable guidance. I love shopping here.
