Terrible place to board. The owner Toni is literally insane. She is in her 50's i believe and acts like a 10 year old. She talks about young kids and likes to start drama with the little girls that ride at her place. How do i know? because i had to go through for 4 years. She talks poorly about every single little girl to other little kids. Highly inappropriate and very unprofessional. Also, she doesn't even take out trails, nor teach. She sits in her house all day. She also drinks in front of little kids! Did i mention that if you do board there she doesn't let you talk to anyone outside of the ranch or she will kick you out. She LOVES to talk about drama! She tries to turn all the little girls against each other and spreads lies about them. She is literally psycho !! She just recently kicked someone off her "ranch" because they couldn't move their horse bc of flood..and not because they didn't want to...BUT BECAUSE THEY WERE TRAPPED IN THEIR OWN HOME!! AND after she kicked them out she told the other boarders that she chose to leave and told everyone that they weren't allowed to say goodbye to her or even look at her. Another example of how she acted unprofessional is when I told her that i was leaving the team because i wanted to do a series that they weren't doing. Okay, no big deal right? She completely exiled me after that. She said and i quote "You will never be good enough to win that series. You're horse is too slow and you're bad at riding. You will never be good enough to win anything." I ended up winning the series and she lost her mind! She to this day hates me and despises me because of it. A year later she told me i had 30 days to leave her property because she was selling her property...hmm it's been a long time that still hasn't happened. She is also unprofessional when it comes to the "barrel racing team" she has. 1.She doesn't even go to the practices, 2. She doesn't go to competition, and 3. She puts green riders on crazy horses that should not be being raced. Every single horse she takes to a barrel race hates to be ridden! Her horses refuse to go in the arena and they jerk on their faces and are very very rough with them. She also races malnourished, old horses. For example, she races a 30 year old horse named Jack who by what i see every weekend hates being raced! You can see all her horses stress and how might pain they'd in. It makes me sick Also, if you do anything to upset her or do something that she wants and she doesn't get her way, she will make sure every turns against you and she starts spreading lies about you too. She is literally an 8 year old in a 50 year olds body. read more

I highly recommend Loveland Ranch. We had a pretty large group and it was a bit difficult to coordinate the best time for everyone. Toni told me not to worry about anything that she would get it all together. I gave her the numbers to everyone in the party and she took it upon herself to contact everyone for me and find the time that worked for everyone!! It was a rather special occasion, and I am not the best at planning, but Toni did it! I tried to pay her extra for planning everything for me, but she refused to take any extra money. I proposed to my gf and she said YES!! Everything was absolutely perfect!!! The horses were all in great shape, and Toni took the time to learn what each riders skill level was, and she put riders on the horses that best fit their skill level. Her staff was incredible. Our guide was incredible we have another reservation made for after Christmas. It was so nice to go on a ride without having the guide on her phone texting or taking selfies, everyone was so professional! I was a little nervous that there may have been a lot of fouls mouths (it is a working ranch and all), and there was not even one swear word uttered from start to finish!! I went on another 5 hour trail ride on Sunday with Toni and her crew and had a blast as usual. We had lots of fun enjoying the scenery, riding next to the R/R tracks, going through Old Town Spring, wading through a running creek, and if you dared to try it - running the horses in the sand! All levels of experience are welcome on the ride. The excursion is worth so much more than the price you pay. BTW: I was on the same trail ride as the individual who wrote that awful negative review and I know exactly which individual it was just by the tone of the review. I had a blast on that ride. Toni and her crew do not get drunk at all on the ride. All they do is have fun and in turn the guests have fun. The individual who wrote that one negative review was the one who complained about everything on that ride. Nothing satisfied her. I have definitely become a regular on Toni's Sunday rides. I highly recommend Loveland Ranch and its crew. They get a two thumbs up and then some! :) read more

Loving horses and not having the opportunity to ride in years I visited the Loveland Ranch after looking for trail rides online. Loveland Ranch really caught my eye and once I arrived I was surprised to find it was even better in person. Everyone was genuinely kind seemed to love what they do and it made for a great experience. The horses were absolutely amazing and the only trouble I had was deciding which one I wanted to ride. The trail ride was awesome and brought me back to a time I was a lot younger and I have to admit I didn't want it to end. It was a beautiful day and if it had been warmer I would have taken full advantage of the swimming area, I had the urge to jump in to say the least. I will definitely be returning and let the owner know just how special I thought the ranch was and what they're doing. I would recommend this ranch to anyone, truly exceeded my expectations. read more

This was the best all around horse riding experience I have ever had. Our guide was Mia, and she was a blast! She was very friendly, and kindly apologized when staff were running a bit behind. I don't think we were booked for her to take us, but she offered (thank you Mia!). The place is beautiful, and the horses know the area well so there are not really 'surprises' for them along the way. Everyone was friendly and would chat with us as we rode by. Mia took pictures for us and made sure to send them to us. She actually enjoyed the ride as well, which, for those who have to guide rides as a job, must get old after a while. We will definitely be back to Loveland Ranch and have been telling other people how great our experience was there. We have been to a couple of other places to ride, but this one, by far, was the best. Thank you Loveland! read more

The dusty driveway which runs along a civil war era cemetery led to an epic summer camp experience for our 9 year old granddaughter. She learned to care for and improve riding skills on a horse chosen for her, feed pot bellied pigs, rabbits, goats, chickens and collect eggs and just have fun all day! At every angle, beautiful and very well cared for rescue horses are visible. Happy dogs wrestle playfully and hitch rides on a cart full of camping kids pulled by 4-wheeler driver, animal lover, teacher and horsewoman Amanda, who totally respects individual differences. Granddaughter loved her. We will return next summer! read more

Loveland Ranch is an amazing place. We have been coming here for 2 years and the level of service we have received is just spectacular . My 11yr old daughter rides 3 days a week and volunteers every sat and sun. This is her home away from home. Mrs. Toni and Mr. Jim really and truly care about their riders.... Mostly the kids! My daughter has become skilled in riding, grooming, cleaning and caring for horses. My daughter is part of the Loveland Ranch Rough Riders barrel racing team, so we are lifers! Love this place!! So much fun! A romantic and authentic walk through the forest. I rode horses as a child and this brought me back. The owner and leader of the pack is a super chill and experienced lady. She took us through the forest and then to a little bar/restaurant called "the track shack" (it's by the train tracks). Beers there are only $2.25! And there was live music. I loved my horse, Z. And there was a little doggie that came along too. Really just the most magical experience. Loved it! read more

I have been boarding my horse at Loveland Ranch and enjoyed riding the trails for years. So wonderful to have such a great riding opportunity in the city! My horse changed within weeks after being in Ms Toni's care from a nervous little mare (that I used to spent hours catching!) into a happy little trail horse that can't wait for me to take her out. My husband brought me here to this beautiful ranch for my birthday, it was my first time riding a horse ever & I had a great experience ,the horses were very calm and trained to go one the trails , we had a very helpful young lady for our tour guide she was very friendly she took us around the ranch and trails there were other farm animals walking around it's was so adorable definitely will be returning. read more

I love riding with Loveland ranch. They have horses for every level. My sister and I went on a 2 hour ride, she hadn't been on a horse in years. It was a blast. Riding thru the woods, across the creek - thru the water. Even though it is close to town, once you get on the spring creek trail system, you are far away from the hustle and bustle of life. What an amazing atmosphere to be in ... Come and enjoy a 1 hour walking ride 2 hour walk trot and controlled running ride a 3 hour picnic or a 1 hour run ride. They also offer lessons private and group barrel lessons and self guided pony rides for small children. Half and full day horst camps! Most horses are rescues and have their own story!! Had a great time at Loveland Ranch with my kids. It's an unpretentious, easy going environment with friendly people and gentle horses (and a couple of playful dogs too). Took a 5 hr trail ride today with a group of people to Old Town Spring. Super fun! Nice people and horses. Toni was very nice and professional. They have over 70 horses, a pig, chickens, 2 goats and a few dogs. The kids loved it. They got to feed the horses. We will be back. Thank you for the memories! read more

Tony is great!!!! Her ranch is well taken care off and she attends to her animals seem to be very happy and all of her staff seem to be right at home comfortable.
