She has given me confidence, a new life, happiness, I don't feel depressed anymore, she always tries to get me in sooner if she can, but she is popular so it is quite a wait to get in to see her BUT she is well worth it!!!! Amy made me feel so comfortable as I used terms like sexy, inner-cowgirl and bed-head; having just met, I felt like she got me. I am thrilled with the amount of attention and skill she gave to each area and grateful for her input on products that will give me the finished look I'm after. (I say finally because I am done with pump and their inconsistent service). What is it / why do your employees not stay? This is frustrating as all of them claim to have noncompetes when messaging them about trying to follow them elsewhere. If you guys can't maintain employees then at least let the clients retain their hairdresser. This is poorly ran and I as a client can tell. Best of luck to you Pump Salon.

In April, I made plans to visit Cincinnati and started looking for a place to get my hair…read morehighlighted and cut. I found Parlour online, and the reviews were great for all of their stylists. I booked with Caitlin V bc she specializes in blondes. Caitlin lived up to her reviews and then some! She took the time to talk to me about what I wanted and she more than delivered. Not only is she talented, she is kind, funny, and really interesting to talk to. I was in need of a 'pick me up' w/my hair and I got it! I am 66 and have had my hair cut and colored all over the world, and I have to say Caitlin is one of the best. Wish I lived in Cincinnati, I'd be a regular! The salon is peaceful and trendy, without being intimidating. The salon manager, Jack communicated clearly with me by email, and was so helpful when I was making my appointment. They were also prompt in responding to my questions, which can be a rarity these days. The front desk staff was so welcoming and made me feel like a long time cherished customer. They gave me recommendations on restaurants and places to visit in the area (shout out Victoria!), as it was my first time to Cincinnati. I could go on and on about what a great experience I had at Parlour. If you are looking for a salon or stylist, give Parlour a try! Absolutely thrilled with the whole experience! And, I am picky! Everything exceeded my expectations, especially Caitlin!

I hate to be this person. This was the worst hair salon experience I've ever had :( which was a…read morehuge bummer. The girl was really nice, all I needed was a quick trim. She cut it dry, but didn't actually cut anything. I wish I was joking, she pulled hair out with her fingers, snapped the scissors, but not on my hair. Then said she wasn't going to wash it.... For 50$ it's included so I kindly asked her to wash it. Huge mistake. Should have just left. Only wet and washed the top cone of my head. The front pieces and around my neck weren't ever touched, product wasn't fully washed out. She proceeded to add 7-8 products to my hair while drying it, I looked like Cameron Diaz on there's something about Mary when I left. It was so oily and greasy and disgusting. I cried in the car after wasting that kind of time and money. The girl was so so nice, but worst hair experience ever. My usual hair girl was on maternity leave, so I was desperate for a cut. I told my usual hair girl about it and she informed me the salon owner tends to bully those that leave poor reviews about the salon on social media pretty hard- she showed me and I was appalled. The salon itself is very "liberal" politically with all the signage and stickers and conversation. I don't really care and respect everyone's right to their opinion and free speech- just a weird environment for a professional salon in my personal opinion. I won't be back and hopefully other girls there are much better. I think mine was new, but wow, for an hour and $60 (with tip) I was largely disappointed to say the least.
