The staff is always friendly, patient, and willing to help. They have a huge selection of costumes and whatever else you're looking for... lol. Plus it's an outlet so you'll find some awesome sales. Some things are full price but a lot of stuff is discounted and the quality is the same! They offer a 20% discount on regularly priced items with a student i.d. which is practically unheard of! Last year they had a costume blowout, $5 for men's and women's (some were discontinued, some had a button that fell off or the smallest speck of lipstick on them). This year they had really nice ones on sale, $15-30 and then the regularly priced ones ($50-70). It's quite big too, I always find what I'm looking for. I love this store and my boyfriend does too!

It rubbed my left arm pit leaving a red mark there and left me in pain. I returned to the store and was told that as I cut the tags off there was nothing they could do. All I wanted to do was exchange it for exactly the same one, same size, etc. The sales associate said she couldn't exchange it for me today because their computers had crashed and the exchange had to be done through the computer. I noted that the damaged bikini top was just going to go in the 'damaged' pile anyway so why does it matter whether it has to go through the computer, etc. She went on to say that the computer might not be up and running for a few days so I could come back at a later date. I even offered to leave her my original receipt so she could take care of it when the computer was back up and running. Nope, sorry, can't do that. Uggghhh. Went straight to the Pen Centre store and got the exchange done, NO PROBLEM! She just did a straight exchange. NO COMPUTER TRANSACTION REQUIRED. When I told her my experience at the outlet mall she was astonished to hear that they said they couldn't do the exchange for me. Needless to say I will NOT be returning to the outlet La Vie store again!
