Reached an agreement in the middle of July for yard services to cut grass,edge,weed eat and blow…read moreoff the yard,driveway, front walk,front and both back porches. Paid extra to clean back inclosed porch the 1st time and it still isn't finished along with everything else that hasn't ever been finished. Today is September the 3rd 2023 and the agreed contract with Daniel and Phoenix home services was the above yard services was to be done twice a month for $175.00 . I told Daniel that I would let him know when I had extra money for other services that Phoenix Home Services advertised like the porch the first day. The few times he came to do the yard, he NEVER DID FINISH and claimed that he would return the following day. That only happened the 1st time and he Still Didn't Finish. Daniel and Phoenix were supposed to show up last Wednesday, then Thursday, then Friday afternoon or Saturday. I finally got him to commit to come and he said early Sunday, today. He drove up at 11:05 am, ( that isn't early but is still technically morning). After unloading a riding mower he proceeded to get started. 40 minutes later, I received a text message saying he was finished. NOW,I AM 100% DISABLED AND HOMEBOUND AND give care to my 87 year old mother and depend upon people to be honest. I walk with a crutch and have cancer in two places along with COPD and a few other things. I had gone out in the evening, each time he came and found that he had NEVER FINISHED WHAT HE CLAIMED BUT GOT OVER PAID FOR. Today when he texted me about being finished, I think he was under the impression that I wasn't going to be able to come outside to inspect the work. I inhaled my combivent and had some oxygen and went out to inspect. The guy only cut the grass and didn't do that very well either. NONE OF THE OTHER SERVICES HAD BEEN PREFORMED. No weed eating, edging, or blowing off the yard ,driveway, sidwalk or porches. I asked if he was through and he said YES. I walked out slowly into the back yard and grass was everywhere and laying on top. NO WEED EATING, EDGING OR BLOWING ANYTHING. I told him that I wasn't paying anything until the job was finished and he said that was it and wanted his pay. When I refused he started to walk toward me screaming and hollering and threatening me. 1st my 150 lb. Dog didn't like that and I told Daniel NOT TO CONTINUE. HE DID, causing me to put my hand in my pocket for my protection and his because my Dog would have eaten him alive and I would have been forced to shoot my own dog to save Daniel's ass. He proceeded to get really strange and stopped. I said that I was calling the police and he said NO,I'LL LEAVE. The next thing I know he went to his truck and called them. Thanks Daniel, three cars of Trussvilles FINEST showed up and saw the truth. The also noted, no tag on trailer, and took down a TRUE STATEMENT FROM ME. One Officer saw the UNFINISHED MISREPRESENTED work and suggested that I not use his services any more. I didn't say anything but I had already decided that. Seemed nice and reliable in the beginning and im sure I'm not the only one who has been taken. I'm reporting all to the BBB and have already requested help if Daniel and Phoenix decide to get even. Daniel, even is finishing the work you agree to do and appreciate costumers that over pay, have TONS OF PATIENCE AND BRING YOU JUGS OF ICE WATER AND MAKE YOU CHILL INSIDE SO AS NOT TO GET OVERHEATED. JUST because I am disabled doesn't mean an easy target. Daniel, coutn your Blessings and hope I don't deside to press charges and call an attorney. I have everything on video along with pictures to prove everything. You seemed to be a straight shooter, but I always try and give someone the benefit of a doubt. Im just thankful for Trussville Police Department and the Fine Officer's that showed up . As for Daniel and Phoenix, enjoy the extra money because there is no more coming out of these pockets. Adding pictures and video after three days. You tell me. They arrived a few minutes after 11 am and the police that they called showed before 12 noon. They're flyer says $35.00 hr on yard work and he was expecting 100.00 like I was foolish enough to pay the other times when he was coming back to finish. Again, never did. I have NOTHING BUT PICTURES, VIDEO AND THE TRUTH ON MY SIDE.
