I do not recommend this company based on my experience with the landscaping owner, Charles Young. I hired the company to remove wood shavings, grade my yard, remove several small bushes, and remove rubber mulch from the front of my home. While I was initially patient regarding delays caused by storm-related work, communication throughout the project was poor. I was never given a clear schedule, and the crew arrived on multiple occasions without any prior notice. While monitoring the work from my security cameras, I became concerned that the crew was leaving before completing the agreed-upon services. I made several calls attempting to reach someone before they left, hoping to avoid further delays. When the owner returned my call, he spoke to me in a manner I found disrespectful and unprofessional, including making insulting comments and telling me that he did not need my business. Although Mr. Young later apologized and I apologized for repeatedly calling, the entire experience left a negative impression. The office receptionist was courteous and professional, and I appreciated her apology for the situation. Overall, the lack of communication, unannounced visits, and the owner's behavior are the reasons I will not use this company again. It's unfortunate because I had planned to hire them for additional projects in the future, but I will be seeking another company instead. read more

Do Not Use this company. We had a very small pine tree leaning on our power line. Called ETS for an estimate. The guy that came out explained that since the tree is leaning on the power line they would have to coordinate and schedule with the power company to have our line dropped for the tree to be removed. Their estimate also included haul away of the tree same day. A week later when they showed up to do the work, the power line did not need to be dropped, and they simply just threw a rope around it and pulled it down. They did not haul away same day, and said another crew did that. They were here no longer than ten minutes for $900 estimate. My trash company ended up picking up the debris. They would not budge on the price even though their estimator said the price was because of all of the items that were not needed or not performed. I was also mis-informed by the estimator that not just anyone can pull it down from a power line, it would need to be a licensed company. The power company confirmed their mis-information. Otherwise I can lasso a tree in 10 minutes for free. Also, the receptionist is very rude, will interrupt you non-stop, then call you out when you are trying to correct them. ETS came out to trim down two of my huge crepe myrtle trees. They did such a great job I wanted to give them a big thumbs up here. The tree people that came out were so knowledgeable and took such care to cut the myrtles down properly, so they would grow even better. They were very professional, very nice and completely cleaned up everything. The office was fantastic to deal with and everyone was really great. I would definitely recommend them!! read more

ETs responded quickly to my home when a limb fell on my home. They cleaned up all the debris and I am glad they were available after hours.

ETS did a multitask restoration for me, totaling $36,000. They offered a discount if I paid in full up front, which I did. They did not complete the job once they had payment. They were to remodel two bathrooms and left the pedestals of two sinks unattached. A plumbing pipe was also not connected. I had to call a contractor to finish behind them. They were paid to waterproof a garage wall for $3000 and did not use DryLock but simply painted it instead. Charles Young refused to return my calls. He did not respond to email but sent an angry workman back to make cosmetic but inadequate adjustments to their work. The electrical connections they made had to be redone by an electrician as they were not up to code. Their tile laying skills are amateur level. Lion was GREAT!! He was on time, wore a mask the entire time he was in my home. I got a new puppy a few months ago and had a few areas in my bedroom that had pet urine. Lion was able to get the stains out, and deodorized the area. I cannot wait to use them again! Thank you ETS! read more

ETS, Inc. - Sham company marketed as "one-stop-shop" specializing in residential remodels, commercial, and landscape work (courtesy of brother's company with same acronym) - AL Contractors Licensing Board has verified the company/owner is not licenced - Company provided false insurance certificate to a homeowner and since then, homeowner received verification the company carried no insurance - ETS "Landscaping" failed to grade yard correctly, workers indtalled perforated French drain pioe upside down, broke thermal paned window which they did not replace; took payment for gutters and installation: never delivered. Removed trees, broke statuary - left piles of debris om residential street resulting in neighborhood complaints and official notice from city - State agencies assisting at this time read more

A tree fell on our house and damaged the roof and the soffit in the back of our house. I spoke with Charles, the owner of ETS Restorations, Inc., who immediately sent guys to remove the tree. However, they left all the removed tree limbs in our driveway and on the street for weeks. After many unsuccessful repeated calls to Charles (most of the time, I had to leave a voicemail which he did not return), they finally hauled off the debris. Of course, Charles called and apologized for delays, stating the dump truck was broke down and that he had been out for surgery on his leg. He came by the house and stated they were ready to make repairs to the roof and soffit, but that he needed $2,500 to buy supplies, plus $4359 for removal of the tree from the house. We gave him a check for $6,859.00 and he stated they would buy supplies and start work the next week. That was 6/8/2022 and as of today, we have not heard from him, nor will he answer or return our calls. We had to contact another contractor to make the necessary repairs. We are still trying to get our $2500 refunded that he stated was needed to buy supplies. I would not recommend this company to even my worse enemies. It has been a nightmare! read more
